“This shouldn’t take long!” How many times have I said that lol.
Sterling work Scotty boy… Sterling work 👌
That's fast becoming my catch phrase. 😂 I really don't remember saying it so much until I edit the videos. 🤣🤣🤣
Great work Scott. Love your openness and honesty with your skills. I'm really impressed with the build so far 👌
Thanks Iain. A massive learning curve for me. But, I’m getting more confident for sure. Cheers.
awesome stuff Scott, cant wait to see it finished and its a pleasure watching it progress.
Thanks. Yes, chipping away at it!
Great video Scott, the Rod is coming along nicely. 'The drinkers side' ??? don't forget it's left-hand drive 😁😁😁.
Looking good as usual scott keep it up 👍
Thanks, will do!
Coming along nicely Scott. Like you mentioned about the floor build in plenty hatches to access certain items, rivnuts put into the framework can give you a reasonably strong bolt fixing for the hatch to the master cylinder etc 👍
Yeah, rivnuts is a good idea, and I do have those. Thanks for the comment and advice.
Great job Scott, looks excellent
Thanks Chris!
Looks great, well done. Really enjoy all your content 👍
Cheers, thanks for the comment.
looking great and strong! Bennetts customs ,based in Aus have a great youtube channel building these cars! well worth a watch
I will check it out! Thanks.
Great stuff Scott. Pendine sands next week for inspiration if you need any!
Put cross bracing in the doors, they will stiffen up a lot and close better. The problem with the body is that is able to flex too much, especially as it is a roadster. The door pillars nee stiffening and tying in to the top rail of the body. I have seen people run a piece or round bar around the top rail of the body and tie it into the door pillars . Works great
Scott please check rear axle is definitely square with the rest of chassis in case it needs moving back on right side rather than bodywork forward
I will, thanks, and got some adjustment there of course. But I was really lining the body up with the rear chassis cross member. The cross member is hidden, but the axle sits directly below the rear cross member, so if the body is in the right place with the cross member, the axle and wheels should also look right with the body.....I hope. ;-)
Cheers!
Great work as usual Scott she is certainly coming along 👍🏻 how did the pipe bender work out ?
