Super Bowl tickets cost $7k? I find it hard to believe that many people can waste that much money every year.

Relatively few people go every year. It's more common, as Elijah notes, for a person to go only if their team is going, or the event is near their home.
It's also a very variable price. This year was twice as expensive as the previous year, because it was held in a smaller stadium, and both teams had a more interesting "narrative". ( this was the first time in many years the Chiefs had made it to the Super Bowl) And you could still buy tickets to the game for $4,000.
Among those who DO go frequently, it's because it's seen as a way to "be a part of history", and often financially replaces an annual week of vacation.
Your kidding rt? Season box seats run between $10k and $75k depending on team. A few years ago Arizona had the cheapest nosebleed seats in the NFL. $85

You forgot to mention that all of the world’s beauty pageants were won by gorgeous black women. It’s the first time in history that this has happened. Even though beauty pageants are an outdated custom that needs to be eliminated or at least reinvented, this momentous triumph is, at last, a recognition of the beauty of diversity and the diversity in beauty.

There have been things he's said and done that I was ok with. But I think this goes to show just how extreme politics have become. Depending on what source you believe, the last living slave died any where between 1935 and the 70s, so slavery is not so far back in history as one would think.
My dad couldn't swim in the city pool (which he paid taxes for) until after dark. He was an adult when they finally opened it to everyone. It's not slavery, but shows the mindset that POC are lesser stuck

Eh, all races had slavery at one point or another, whites just get the majority of the blame (rightfully so tbh). But apparently people think that whites invented slavery or something.
Every other major group engaged in slavery on a larger scale and time frame (even if you'll never hear about it in school). Asians, Africans, Middle Easterners, you name it. Read up on the Barbary Slave Trade as an example. Also, white people (namely the British followed by the US) are the only ones that actually made a major push to end it. Ever. All the aforementioned places still have regions where slavery is practiced. Some of them aren't even behind closed doors but right out in the open, depending on where you go. Shoot, people don't even know that black people owned slaves in the US back in the day. @@sxyx3403 whites did create the slavery of colonization which is chattel slavery, in which is 10x worst then regular slavery which majority of people volunteered to be slaves to pay debts and survive famine in their country yet noone was stolen from their land until chattel slavery came along which is European created.
