- This series is intended to help new players get to grips with and understand Europa Universalis IV (EU4). The idea is that through watching someone more experienced go through the same processes that you will, it will help teach the game. As such, I play through this as normal, but take the time to go into more detail about what is happening, and why. If you have any further questions or need things clarified, please do let me know in the comments! Hope this helps!
This has been recorded with all DLC up to and including Emperor.
Please like and subscribe to this channel if you enjoyed this preview of Europa Universalis IV with the Man the Guns expansion! It really helps out! Likewise, if you have any tips, critiques or advice please do comment as I'd be pleased to read them.
Emperor DLC was given to me by Paradox at no charge.

Thank god for this video series. Was totally blind and tried following a Castile guide from another creator, and his directions had me losing 15 gold a month and buried in loans, never explaining how anything worked. These vids stop at literally every piece of information, and make the game far, FAR more digestible. Thanks!
Very pleased to hear that! Glad it’s helped :)
This game has changed drastically over the years after not playing since Conquest of Paradise...it's been a while. This is the newest full tutorial I could find and it's really helping! I forgot how much I love the Europa Universalis series.
Great intro for new players!
Thank you :)
an hour in and still not u paused really, this game clearly has depth. love the structure
Really enjoying this
Just picked up the game, planning on running a Scotland campaign. Enjoying the videos so far, they're very insightful.
Play as the ottomans or something, its the campaign new ppl should play on their first time
But still do what u want just a reccomendation
BTW drilling inceases both damage done and damaged received. Also increases siege ability.
Trrrrue, I generally ignore benefits of drilling though as that modifier tends to be very temporary. Professionalism is just damage received (and siege ability).
Why does he have a 6th rank Great Power on his game, but I don't for power projection?
