50 Eyalets in 50 years (roughly) - Ottomans Vassal Swarm is UNSTOPPABLE

- EU4 Domination is here and it's great! Ottomans can now do a vassal swarm from the very start of the game and it's exactly as overpowered as it sounds, join me and see for yourself.

Ironman mode, because we live with our mistakes. Taureor giving life lessons while entertaining!
This whole Eylet mechanic looks an awful lot like PDX is testing sub-states, autonomous regions, etc. for EU5. Everything from how they don't take up relation slots, the bonuses they provide, down to even the fact they use your map color to visually blend in. I expect in EU5 something very similar will be done with Lithuania, Scotland, etc. Autonomous administrative divisions.
Same goes with the new French vassal type. PDX is experimenting with these different levels of autonomy, different political/administrative dynamics and so on.
🤓☝️ Its eyalet system not eylet
I agree with you
Interesting theory but its for sure coincidental. No shot eu5 is that close to release
What he said doesn't mean that it's close to release, just that they are working with new concepts for eu5
btw “eyalet” means state in turkish so these are quite literally states in the ottoman empire
Nice! I love EU4 too, do more of these videos
Depends on how well this does, I might go back to EU4
@@Taureor 14k views in 18 hrs is well enough i beleive pls do more eu4 videos
@@Taureor Just remember to balance your need for views/earnings with your natural desires and wishes. You don't want to get burnt out again on HOI4. I'm just here to watch you play whatever you most feel like playing at the time, and I'm sure I'm not alone.
I like it when you switch it up with other games. Keep up the good work! Solid EU4 gameplay.
I just got back into EU4 a bit recently myself, love your videos man
A great episode, thank you very much! I would be happy if you release more EU4 content. But I would also be interested in how you play CK3. Have a great day!
Diplo+Influence+Admin idea combo will make Ottos broken beyond repair, I love it
Espionage is also helpfull, option to always be able to transfer subjects, +10% siege abilty, -20% AE impact and +15 vassalize acceptance
@@kuniak9979Good call, I've forgotten about Espionage.
Didn't expect an EU4 Video, cool!
What's really strong about Eyalets too is much like being HRE Emperor / Having the HRE vassal swarm is that you still get the income and max manpower benefits from having vassals, which is a lot of the benefit from those setups, in many ways more so than the disorganised swarm of tiny AI armies making it much less effective and just a matter of Brute forcing their way. Really looking forward to when I have time to give a good go to all the Domination updated countries.
hello from Turkey!!! thank you for the video :)
It's weird watching you play EU4 but it's a nice surprise.
Its possible the Mamluk eyalet event didn't trigger the first war because you weren't the siege leader of Cairo
does the eyalet join with you at wars same as vassel or not ? because with me they just do nothing not even be a part of the war
@@silence5014you have to call them manually using 20 favors.
@@septianhari582 yeah i learned that but i thought they are like the vassels join automatically when you are at war
Good game, I'm happy to see you playing eu4.
Nice video ❤️
Please make more EUIV videos, it will be amazing!
Mehmed‘s ambition is going to be painful 💀💀💀
Just imagining it now 💀💀
But atleast we can form rome as the ottomans now
@@maddogbasil Ottomans can only form Rome if they convert to Christianity and it was always that way
Hell yeah Ottomans Domination video
I'm enjoying Domination a lot
Id like Constantinople to get some extra fort levels or big modifiers cause it's just another level 3 fort when it real life was practically unconquerable
Took a literal Technological Revolution and the city to be near utterly deserted for the City to fall. It’s estimated that there was only about 5000 people left in Constantinople at the time of the fall.
Bro I have never seen weirder estates but ay you do you.
Finally, your systematic gameplay is the best.
Perfect timing I just got into the game like half a week ago
Japan would be fun to see, I haven’t seen anyone do that yet in 1.35
watch Quarbit
My favorite youtuber playing my favorite game??? What the hell
So, does the +15 vassalization acceptance make espionage useful for the diplomatic Ottoman WC run?
Do Eyalets kill your rebels?
Then keeping your tall thicc defensive vassals permanently might come in handy like your Switzerlands and beta Slovakia like tags with defensive bonuses.
Or would you keep a few trade nations to pull trade to the end node with 1-2 marches to cheese seiges/ your own vassal ally.
Or dose march Bonuses are not worth the slot?
Nice
Why you didn't choose espionage ideas? +15 vassalize acceptance is a tempting option
He commited a mistake with economic ideas but sure he could have done it
Enjoyed
this is a wild one
i keep not paying attention for two minutes and then going "oh shit how'd he expand all the way there"
Play it, mr. Toot!
hi @Taureor and everyone else!
Ps. when are you going to play falling star? it's a hoi4 mod set about a decade before the asteroid wipes out the dinosaurs.
So you play dinosaurs or something?
DShakey?
Take a shot every time Taureor says "eyalet" and you'll be dead withing an hour! I like all Paradox main series so I'm fine with you doing content for any of them really.
EU4 on this channel? Nice. You ought to play Poland in EU4 at this point.
I would love to know/see what they changed for Japan.
Sooo should i do conquered countries as eyalets or vassas ? Im still kinda questionable of eyalets..
He plays eu4?? This is entertaining, we love playing eu4
0:18 Kind of a shame that it only affects the already established great powers, would´ve been neat to see new missions for Nepal, Tibet and the Caucasus region.
They are way more interesting now though
@@Taureor True, but at the expense of everything else that aint.
I like that fezzan reference
Loving the Ylvis reference.Mr.Toot all the way.
Honestly, I'd be happy to see just about anything in the Strategy/Management sphere. I like the HOI4 videos a lot, but I really appreciate the interesting strategies/cheeses and am interested in seeing whatever you think is cool.
this is a beautiful prequel to a peaceful world conquest
do you diplo annex your eyalets later on ? ıs there any advantage to keep them as eyalet for late game ?
Keep them - they work like the hre vassal swarm, very effective
When will polish channel be active again?
Japan have amazing navy buffs u should absolutely try it
how did you get influence and trade one after the other in an ironman game?
Playing as ottos is pure fun ngl
tbf Ottomans on their own were already unstoppable in player hands, and a juggernaut even in AI hands
Ylvis - Mr. Toot
I saw eu4 and ran to the video
Kind of like the Ummayad caliphate who gets a lot of emirates fight for them
Anyone had thoughts pdx will tweak and nerf Eyalets system?
Thank you for the video! I really love your hoi4 content but i am also a huge fan of eu 4 and i wish to see you doing walkthrough on this game also, maybe following the mission trees and flashing them a bit. An op tactic with the ottomans would be to follow your missions tree and barely conquer any land using only eylets for expansion, then religion switch to catholic using rebels and join the HRE as the emperor. 😁
So they do act autonomously like a vassal ?.
Otomaans attacking Venice, me watching as Austria “teach them how to doge”
The Fall of the Mamluk Government event didn’t trigger because you were not the siege leader. Not sure if WAD or a bug.
Seems like a bug, the siege was transferred to me later I think
is establishing eyaltts worth it ? like the one for egypt for example ?
yes
Can you have eyalets with Rûm?
0:38 You know with out of nowehere song like that i have to dance right? :v
Seeing this Ottoman run continue into the America's would be really cool. Break the European colonial powers and take it for yourself.
Knights run?👀
add mana points to state at the start :)
I think you missed a 5% discipline from janissary privilige
I love the fact that ottomans can just dominate everything within 100 years and if it is ai it can just roll over and die from a rebellion
If only those Eyalets haven't blocked your expansion routes, especially Egypt and Tunis.
I think eu4 has better storytelling than base hoi4, I like playing the hoi4 mods with the linear story, but watching is less fun. Maybe try Anbennar for huge maps and lore discovery?
Engagement
I wash myself with a rag on a stick
why?
I would watch all your videos if they weren't all an hour long or more
Bruh dude are u makin eu4 video or ASMR?
It's against my religion to watch videos where the Roman Empire isn't restored and instead dismantled.
Next time don't take the monopolies, instead of 40-60 income from production you only got 12.
imbal...
will probably be nerfed soon
we'll have to have our fun while we still can :(
turkish viewers will like this video
Would you rather fight 500 monkeys or a trex.
Depends. Is the t-rex alive?
@@Taureor it is on ketamine
@@Taureor Yes, also you can't use weapons but you can use your environment.
"Ottomans are too weak" said no sane person ever
Who ever thought they needed a buff 🤡
They absolutely received a debug from the AI’s perspective they have so many disasters now and decadence crippled the AI at a certain point, all of of this was basically possible in the old patches you just didn’t have vassals.
Theyre worse in ai hands and better in player hands. Byzantium is easier now and ottomans have manpower struggle early on
lol eyelet swarm is no joke, just too much clicking to call in to war.
did you find a mod or somthing make you call them all without too much click ??
So Ottomans basically became HRE of the muslim world
zrobisz odcinek po polsku
I love the new ottoman missions and mechanics but they really need to nerf the whole eyalet and invasion thing. It is extremely overpowered
:)
ottoman confederation
I hate how paradox just casually buffs the fun police in eu4, as if they were not annoying enough already, great video btw, i hope we get more eu4
They’ve made the ottomans easily more balanced in this patch, yes the player can use mechanics to grow really strong with them but you could do that in the past if you knew how, the new systems of decadence and the disasters balances them into a much easier enemy.
@@MRmaggots1234 huh, so that is quite a gamechanger
@@lanleskovec8697 zlewik did an interesting time lapse comparison of course the ottomans are still incredibly strong as they should be, but slowly turn into the sick man of Europe. In the last patch they’d pretty much conquer half the planet by 1821. It gives the player the ability to wait the ottomans out rather than feel like if they don’t take them out early they’re unstoppable.
@@MRmaggots1234 i have only seen his video where he played the ottomans and absolutley shreded everyone, so my preception might be a bit biased, also i am not the best at the game tbh.
@@lanleskovec8697 a player with the ottomans especially at a high level can absolutely wreck everyone it’s just how the AI plays when you’re playing a different country that matters. An Ottoman Empire conquering Scandinavia is a bit much
Broken asf

You literally played Ottomans in an Ottoman way.Btw can you make a tutorial video for EU4 ?
Monopolies are bad because they significantly reduce your long term income for short term gain, and mercantilism isn’t that good anyway
Wrong, monopolies are really good because it's free loyalty. You don't need some 10% production income if you play good.
@@dmitrygavr6876 It’s not hard to manage loyalty and yes, you don’t need that 10% if you play good but it also makes the difference between having 10% more money in the mid game. If you want to scale harder and faster, it’s better to have the production income because it also increases your trade income too. So it ends up being worth even more.
@@nool9046 you only lose 20% of the production (8 years income every 10), but loyalty bonus for clergy (tax increase) and nobility (manpower recovery speed) are worth, esp. before admin tech buffs to prod. eff. trade income is not effected, and the forward payment can be spend building church marketplace etc.
Decadence is some bs tho.
Sadly the ai is to stupid to use them xD
this is gross
