I know this has been a while but it really helps getting me started on EU 4 which I bought years ago but never really "got" it. I played lots of CK2 and 3, but there's a bunch of stuff in EU4 that is a bit overwhelming even if you played other paradox strategy games. Currently I'm doing a Portugal run, close to claiming my 5th colony in the carribean. Already got a bit in Brazil and on the ivory coast as well. I was kinda scared that castile beats me to something good, but they decided to colonize columbia and recently lost a war with aragon, so I think they're not a threat, hah. Even the ill-fated war with the Mameluks was actually great to see for me, because I am kinda scared of screwing up. Seeing that even the experienced gamers make mistakes and can recover from them takes the pressure to do everything "perfect" off. Thanks for this series, it really helped me get off my butt on this great game!

Lynette is actually conservative, because she was against democracy, and reintroduces slavery in her focus. Her party is called “old guard” btw. The anti mutant guy was progressive, because he wanted to introduce democracy, and forbid slavery, but yeah, he is human supremacist.

an hour in and still not u paused really, this game clearly has depth. love the structure

so glad I'm returning to this now and did not play a whole lot after release. so many improvements to the UI, although I am getting wicked sick of seeing notifications for demanding an exchanging a hostage, don't want anything to do with that feature go away. also raiding has not been fixed sadly, but a lot of other stuff is much better.

Should have built a supply depot and upgraded rail network in Poland so you wouldn't have such bad supply issues in the Eastern Front. You also had such old equipment in your air support, which really showed.

Noob question. So far I always trained my divisions via Recruit & Deploy one by one in a province. I see that you train about 20 of them at the same time, right? Obviously I need more euqipment and manpower for that, but does that really mean it's 20 times faster?

Even 3 years later, I still enjoy the stream. It's really good. Thanks, mate.
