Could you please made a video or juste answer the question about the rain comming from the bay that goes into the engine beacause of bad conception and leaks over the electronique module ! Did you guy got this problem to ? The rain drain from the bay to the wipers hole and under the plastic clips at the corner it goes on electronic just near the fusibles module

I really appreciate the time and detail of your videos mate. Very very helpful. I’m about to do the fuel filter on mine. My Haynes manual mentions all sorts of stuff about priming the system using a hand pump, do you think this is necessary? Seems so simple the way you did it!? Have you ever had any issues doing it your way? I’m wandering why on earth the Haynes manual suggests it if you can do it so simply by connecting a pipe and a container like you did! Thanks again for helping others with your videos, your efforts don’t go unnoticed! 👍👍👍

@@SimonLloydGuitar yeah… that’s fair. They can sometimes have so good bits of information for the amateur DIYer like myself. I used them a lot many years ago, but as you say maybe they’ve gotten worse over the years. Arguably not as good as an OEM workshop manual. Why I appreciate videos like this, decent forums and actual mechanics that work on cars day in and day out sharing info online. 👍

Hello! We have very similar van and i have a question about battery replacement. We have one batt under the drivers seat and my question is,can i just plug old off and install new like we did with old cars or do i need some spare power for it when disconnect battery? Thanks for this great and simple video!

Is it not possible to run the fuel pump to vent the fuel system?? I always do so at Volkswagen

Howbcan the timing be done, why does the cover need changed while doing the new chain
