    I'm just starting my lampworking journey and already know how to make simple marbles. This seems like the perfect next step for me! I love your videos!

    Like your videos because of nice definition. Like that you can work and teach at the same time. I would have a problem with doing both at the same time.

      Hi Jody and welcome! Thank you for your kind comment. Since I made this video, I changed over to doing voiceovers to eliminate the background noise. I did like explaining as I did things but people like the better audio quality so I am a servant to my subscribers =).

    Nice process, I've tried this on a couple of marbles and I am very happy with the results. On a side note, I built my own foot pedal with great results, for less than fifty bucks. I know you retain the knowledge and abilities to construct your own...and save yourself a lot of money for you and your precious (six children, wow!) family. Keep doing you, it's perfect.

      That's awesome James! Send me some pics, yourock@thefusingshop.com. If you want I can feature your art in one of my future videos. I would also love to see the DIY foot pedal you made.

      @@FusingShop I was getting it finished and let it cool too much on one end... it cracked and then it shattered beyond repair when I tried to fix it. On the plus side, now I have some really cool looking scraps...

    Thanks again for sharing your knowledge such a huge understand Manor. Question I'm making a bee but I'm finding the wings Fallout very easy is there a trick that I can get them secured better

    • @FusingShop
      @FusingShop  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Cory! Thank you for your comment and question. Do the wings randomly fall off or do they fall off when you knock the bee into something? Either way you need to make sure they are welded on properly to the body. Turn your flame way down to get a small pinpoint flame and make sure they are sealed on and flow together. Otherwise, they will continue to fall off.

      @@FusingShop the wings fall off when it hits something. So just make sure they get melted together really good. My problem with that is its a small bee so I start messing other things up because they are so close. Maybe I will mess with the order I put it together . thanks again

      @@coryhaines6650 A mini hand torch can help make those small welds. I highly recommend getting one for your setup. They're great for work that requires a small precise flame and gives you the flexibility of moving around the flame easier.
