This is excellent photography and intelligent editing. Well done!
The glasswork itself is absolutely gorgeous. It seems so relaxed and easy. That's the result of thousands of hours of practice, when every hour of practice is precious and expensive.
It looks easy. Glass is very seductive that way. It's why we fall in love with it. But mastery, as we see here, is something almost unimaginably beyond our first impressions. It looks so easy, but you must know intimately how the glass behaves as it cools. It's a dance, intensely dynamic, elaborately planned and yet surrendered to the moment.
Bravo. Well done, all of you.

I cried. I did glassblowing back in the mid 80s until I burnt myself. I wish I had the resources to try it again. They make beautiful artworks.

In 1984, my Wife and I traveled throughout Europe for our Honeymoon. One of our stops was Venice, Italy where we wanted to take in the sites we were familiar with from movies. My Wife noted a magazine article from the hotel we were staying in that described the island of Murano and the many artisans who had shops there. Without us knowing it, we stumbled onto the most famous Venetian Glass Studio in the world (Seguso). We came back the next day to arrange shipment of a large "Free-Form Leaded Glass Sculpture" that had been blown by a 72 year old artist whose name I would have to retrieve from the safe. I have no words to begin to describe their showroom(s) of art. Needless to say, we asked the artist to sign the sculpture, not knowing that is impractical, regardless, he carved his name in the base (freehand) with a sharp tool. Over the course of a persons life, things like this become priceless ... and "never" for sale.

When I was young my family used to go across the river from El paso, Tx into the Mexico border city of Juarez. Every time I'd go watch the glass crafters through a window as they made many, many things and then sell them in shops to tourists. I could stand there for quit sometime as may parents were looking for a present for kin while I was mesmerized and had no idea of time passing.
Eventually Dad would come get me still unmoving and watching every glass nuance. I still remember like a young child before high school. It was like liquid magic and I dreamed of it, but never became one. But then my life has never had enough time to do everything I've wanted to do. But many things I have. Pros and cons of an adventurous life 😊

There's something primal about watching molten glass being manipulated into art.
