      Yeah that eco boost will run your 6.2L bro - if they release a custom tune for the 2.7L HO engine refresh, the lighter weight will get u off the line, but your 6.2L top end should catch up at higher speeds. But you'll need a few fill ups in between runs. I won't be adding a straight pipe to 2.7L, but did add a CAI. I built it to offroad and hunt without making too much noise in the backcountry. MPGs still fine, haven't added 35s or additional lift.

    • @drodNY
      @drodNY Před rokem +1

      I take that back! I decided to do the muffler delete on my recently installed Borla S-Type cat back system, after seeing this video and it was horrible. Sounded great from afar, just like in your video, but inside the cabin, no way in hell could I drive this thing. Huge annoying, loud humming drone inside the cabin. All good until you hit 2000 rpms, then it's a major headache and fast people ejector. Unfortunately that's the rpm range you spend most of your time in, especially at highway speeds. Couldn't wait to bring her back home to put the muffler back on.. Borla S-Type cat back system with the included muffler and resonator is probably the best bet.. but don't expect V8 sound.. you won't get anywhere close to it.. it's just slightly better than stock.

    GM would've been better off putting the old 3800 series engine like they had in the Pontiacs and Buicks back in the 90s and 2000s in these trucks if they were trying to be fuel efficient and sound similar to the ecoboost F-150s.

That’s better than anything those old 3800s could put down.
