@@abdulwasay940 of you buy it from a dealership there is just a simple contract (varies from different dealerships and for new and used bikes), if you are buying it from a private person you need to do a paper that shows that you are buying that motorcycle legally whit the person that is selling it to you. In every case you need to later do insurance and a stupid tax wich the price depends on the power of the engine. For the process of the driving license if you already have an American one I don't know how it works. In Europe you have Am for 50cc (you can do it at 14 A1 for 125cc (you can do it at 16) A2 till 48hp (you can do it at 18) and A3 without limitations (you can do it after two years of having the A2 or directly if you are above 24) . The written exam you can do it right away if you already know how to drive, for the practical exam you have a minimum amount of hours of riding with an instructor before you can get your license

I understand the looks aspect of it but please if your buying a tail light with integrated signals make sure that the signals are bight and have large signal, I’ve almost hit bikes before because they want to change lanes on highways but you can’t see their super small signals. Be safe!
I don’t care how ugly they are, I want them to be seen! Those tiny or integrated indicators sure make your bike look nice and clean, but they are hard to see. And in direct sunlight nobody is going to be able to tell whether your indicators are on or off.

Laws made on signal distance didn’t just exist because it makes money. It exists because it needs to because drivers needs to be able to identify if you’re just tapping your brakes, have your hazards on, or actually turning as far as 300-500 feet away. Put them too close together and drivers will have difficulty telling the difference.

honestly, this is one area where the regulations *do* make some sense. if someone doesn't spot your signal and goes right into your lane as you're coming over? It'll be their fault, but it'll be you who looses regardless. So a certain amount of clarity is a good thing. Though I do which companies would try to find nicer ways of accommodating it.

My buddy bought integrated tail lights that combine rear light, brake light and turn signals. He still uses some very slim aftermarket "normal" turn signals that basically disappear when you don't look too close

In Michigan you aren't required to have turn signals on your bike. Law says handsignals are legal alternatives. Federal regulation is just for manufacturers selling new motorcycles
I got stock turn signals and nobody ever sees I’m turning they’ll just wait until I turn. Idk if it’s just where I live or what but having smaller turn signals shouldn’t matter..as long as you have them.

It looked tacky and cheap. I replaced it with a used clean OEM and added knockoff NSR 250 turn signals. Has a nice clean almost factory look. They only stick out about 2" or 8" to the Gixxer boys measurement guide.
Turn signals and brake lights are your primary means for communicating with the vehicle behind you. You want them to see you and to know what you intend to do. Don't make that harder with a squinty little all in one brake/turn signal unit.

That doesn't exist in the Philippines, which annoys the hell out of me, when a bike is infront of me; i can never tell whether they're hitting the breaks, or just have the static light on. Not entirely sure how BMW got around that regulation. the S1000rr's I know for a fact do not have a traditional brake light. Instead it has 2 turn signals that together turn on when the brake is applied

Here’s the thing, that’s an inspection violation, not a moving violation. You cant be pulled over for it. As long as you have an operating brake light and blinkers, thats all the law requires. The standards that manufacturers have to follow when producing/selling the bike are different.

I've never personally been bothered by it but I always keep my OEM fender in my garage as long as I have that specific bike

My state doesn't require turn signals as long as you have 1 arm.
Thats only acceptable during daytime operation.

Kuryakyn makes a set of TINY turn indicators (10mm), so it is possible to remain legal and still clean up the bike.

Don’t worry about the ticket.
It’s your insurance company who will deny your claim because you are compliant to be in the road.
So a bare minimum would be a 1 inch thick brake light with 4 inches space on either side and then the blinker can be owners choice of size

Well, the distance between the two is going to have to be more than 9 inches unless your brake light is 1 inch… well, I guess not if they’re not in line with each other

Here’s the thing, that’s an inspection violation, not a moving violation. You cant be pulled over for it. As long as you have an operating brake light and blinkers, thats all the law requires. The standards that manufacturers have to follow when producing/selling the bike are different.
Not every state even has inspections. I dont. And my state leos dont enforce federal law
It's true for sure, but I've also only ever seen 1 video of someone being bothered about it and the cop was just saying it is conversation as he had the guy pulled over for doing wheelies. I've never personally been bothered by it but I always keep my OEM fender in my garage as long as I have that specific bike
