Totaled my bike after watching this video
Right on!
😂😂
Video explanation insufficient. Now need a new bike
That's fantastic 😀
😂😂😂😂
I don't have a bike and probably never will, but I still watched this whole video 😂 love you zenith!
Best entry bike IMO, you can get it just manifest it. R3 is boring already nvm my first bike, I’d never buy a R3 unless it’s for my gurl. Bored on my R7 but, I have learned multiple lessons on it. I’m learning and the power is decent.
I can’t hit 140 mph on this bitch, need my ecu flashed by 2WDW.
Bike does jump wen needed (spikey)
Does dropping the clutch hurt the bike ? I think so that’s why I power wheelie!
Me to😅
I'm 56 years old and have always ridden a sport bike. I currently have a R1 and I'm going to try this. If I die I'm coming back to haunt you and your r7. 👻👻👻👻👻
update..
update
did u dieded?
@@lhasinc I'm in Tennessee and it's been raining haven't had a chance to try yet. I'm scared I'm going to mess my bike up but I'm still going to try it.
@@joeycronan2652 be safe man! Haha don’t haunt me plz
I liked hearing you tell beginners to cover rear brake more than once.
It will save you
That thing is your lifeline😅
ye but kiss goodbye to your fork seals and dent your headset bearing cups.
@@cabbage681 it’s a part of stunting :)
Once you can chase em, instead of being tempted to chase as long as possible, now youre in the phase where u want to intentionally bring them down using rear brake (this phase is longer and harder than the wheelie chase phase). I know, no cool points but its what you need to level up to ACTUAL wheelies. This Builds the muscle memory in your right foot to be able to actually use the rear brake and stay relaxed when your bring it up past BP and to understand how much pressure does what. Then combine muscle memory of the throttle with your new foot brake abilities to bring it up past BP so you can slow them down. BTW "covering the brake" is BS if you havent put in the work to use it because when you have that "oh shit" moment, and you will, Your fight or flight will kick in and your first instict will be to jump off the bike or hang on and pray the engine brake brings it down. EDIT: it's possible to bypass the rear brake learning phase if you have good throttle control and ride them out pretty decent at BP but you will be hard capped and gain false confidence and the second you give it a squirt too much gas at BP its loop city so remember to practice putting them down early on for much successs 👍
i tought myself by chopping the throttle at a red light and looping my brand new bike in an intersection
Top comment
Ugh. That must have absolutely sucked. I feel for you, and your new bike. Must have been a very “uncomfortable “ experience as you had to pick up your bike, collect the pieces, while drivers were slowly passing you at the intersection. But hey, that’s a memory you’ll have for the rest of your life. Ha ha. Anyway, no risk…no reward, right?
Thanks so much! I finally did a wheelie on my mountain bike after watching this
Ayeee!!
Tehe
Get a dirt cheap bike to learn how to wheelie cause you WILL drop it and be sure you're good to fukkin up a bike cause the likelihood is 80% or better that you can cause damage that would be expensive to fix. Try a Grom or a Dirt Bike and wheelie practice on SOFT surfaces so when you drop it you won't damage it too bad hopefully. When You wanna step up to clutch up's be good at doing power up's first.
I've ridden sports bikes for 4 decades, own a CBR FireBlade RRW and take it to track days. My advice to any rider is: It has two wheels for a good reason and keep them both glued to the road. Pulling wheelies will reck head stock bearings, fork internals and seals,
i damaged my main bearings pop'in the clutch all the time on my fz750
Dumped it after trying this, now I’m currently in the hospital getting morphine 🥲
Lol
And now he’s chasing painkillers😂
Bro is alone on earth the whole video😅...
Key tip: keep your bars straight when you land 😂
yeah that's probably the mistake I made and wreaked my bike
You helped me the most when you said "hold the throttle and see where your rpm is at" i always kept bouncing but didnt know how to keep the wheel up.
You are right, that a small bike can wheelie. Back in 2003, I learned to clutch wheelie in first gear at 8000 RPMs on my small Ninja 250R to pop the front tire up at a 45 degree angle for about 10 feet. Heart racing as the jolt up was shocking each time. The landings were tough on the front tire/fork too. Not as much fun like I was expecting even with practice. I think it was stretching the heck out of my chain too, needing replacement.
My interest in wheelies faded soon after, with discipline early to no longer feel the need to wheelie, even if requested by others which is often when on a sport bike. "Do a wheelie." Best to ignore them is how I feel. They won't pay for it if something goes wrong.
My current Ninja 650 will sometimes slightly power wheelie from a quick take off a few inches, but that's enough for me these days. Interesting video and cool bike R7, thanks.
This is my favorite YT vid of yours so far! And I think this is the first time I’ve seen you wheelie that wasn’t a POV angle. Really good tutorial and even managed to sneak in a promo at the end 😁. Definitely down to see a part 2!
Thank you Kristin:)))
Honestly this was the best wheelie video I have watched, thanks!
Ayeeee glad to hear that. Thank you!
Did a wheelie, and now I have a new bike .
Oop. Uhhhh… congrats :D
I did a wheelie in to a group of trash cans today. Thought it was fitting since I ride like garbage and can't even wheelie
Very well articulated sir everything makes sense thanks for being honest and safe
Great video ! Better than any other I’ve watched. Only thing your forgot to mention (I think) is to keep the handlebar straight when landing the front wheel. It’s as important as covering the rear brake.
True! Thank you:)
I found that lowering the rear tyre pressure really helped with stability and control....drop it to 20psi roughly and until you work it out, that soft rear tyre really helped me.
‘A lil parking lot’ Ha, lots bigger than any apartment complex ive ever seen.
seems legit. I been riding for just under a year, and finally feeling brave enough after daily commuting to attempt a wheelie in good weather. I like your explanation, I just need an empty space to attempt now. (alone is good advice too)
Best wheelie tutorial ever 😈
Nice video tutorial on the wheelie practice! Thanks for sharing!
The best tutorial I’ve ever seen, thank you so much
Gotchu!!!
Great video!! Today I practiced dumping the clutch. Tomorrow I will practice wheeling.
You can do it finaly 😮
Best of luck to you!
Just subbed right after hearing the intro music and r7 rev's creating a symphony, just amazing
Nothing like CP crank sounds
The decel goes crazy
Brilliant explanation! Well done with the advice practicing alone - Gold advice!!
Ride safe!✌️
Thank you man! Likewise

This definately something that helps start doin wheelies.
What you could involve is what you should do with your knees. I'd be curious if you use the legs to keep you on the bike, or you only rely on the butt. I'd guess like in most situations the hands should be relaxed. For a beginner I think this additional info would be helpful as well.
Thanks for the video!
Guys please try on a small bike like a honda grom or a dirt bike, don't skuff up your expensive bike as well it would be much easier for you to learn and much safer
R7 is a small bike tho, but an extremely torque machine i love it
Tried this and now I'm sitting on the floor, when will my bike come back?
you went too far, go and look for it it wouldnt have gone too farr and try again dont give up u can do it
It’s at my house, rip
Really enjoyed this video sir!
Thank you!
on a 1000rr just hit the gas and you're up in the air lol... make sure to cover the rear brake... and be prepared to change fork seals every 2 weeks lol
Yo I follow you on TikTok too! Glad to see you made this tutorial I've had my R7 for over a year, time to start stuntin 😎
ayeee, u got good taste
Brian 636 is good to watch to learn to wheelie and stop at stop signs cause you never know when someone is going to come out of nowhere, also their use to be a class you could go to in dallas/fortworth
Perfect timing man I just watched vids on it yesterday
Buy a used klx 110L if u wanna get into the wheelie game if u can. I put outlaw stunt parts triple tree and ODI yz OEM bend oversized Mx bars on my R7 and cut the wind screen for bar clearance. It now feels like a big klx110L it’s so fun
Great video. I have a lot of respect for those who can wheelie. I'm just too scared 😅
Love the color on your bike!
Thank you!!
Back in high school early ‘70’s a guy had a new Honda CL 350. During lunch break he’d often wheelie the whole length if the parking lot. A good 100ft or more. How no one got hurt is beyond me.
Really informative video, good job zenith, I'll see you on tt and twitch ❤
Explanations were in point😎💪🏽💯
Appreciate that
OK, prety on point. Nomenclature off a little. Learn the repeatable technique of clutching up and you will have wheelies on demand for all the shorty bang bangs you see on the street. 1 Wheel 1 Life. Over n' Out
The sweet spot on a Grom is 1st gear and red lined
that paint job is so damn nice
Thank ya!
Is that a wrap? @@Zenith.Garage
I could pop a wheelie on every bike i owned. A wheelie and riding a wheelie are two different objectives.
I wish to learn how to do wheelies. But looks hard. I never wheeled a bike. So I’ll wach more videos of you and when I made it you will be dream come true thank you your video help me to try.
Great teacher
Grabbed a new lower gearset for my Husqy FC 450 n can't wait to drop the hammer. Lol. Excellent tutorial tho, and props for using an empty lot. It's good to see "influencers" with some intelligence and accountability. 🤙🏼
I learned to ride on a Kawasaki KDX 125 off road. I had practice to wheelie
Great tutorial, Pookie! Love Pluto ❤️🔥
most wheelie videos have super short instructions, then the rest of the video is them just doing endless wheelies.
so THANK YOU for being super in depth and taking the time to explain the wheelie process, it helps a lot man!
Now I want to know if I can wheelie my 850lb Yamaha Royal Star cruiser.
Does it hurt the air?
Thanks for the video that was wheelie cool
BRAH THAT COLOR
😈
Should've Been Titled "How to Talk about Wheelieing" but Not Actually do it....ZOINKS
does it mean ,have set or
off TRACTION to Zero?
Thanks man
So easy to do wheelies with that engine. I got the MT07.
love the purple wrap, what is the stock color? black?
Stock is blue, then painted in a purple ish color (check early pics on insta @zenith.frs) and now wrapped
hey man a little late and I know it's not about the wheelie learning for this video but i'm really curious what paint job color is that purple?
frll
Thank you. Very Informative!
Glad it was helpful!
😂 thanks for the heads up 😂
Thank you!
Remember guys, master riding the bike first
less gooo finally a good tutorial
Gotta say, I learned the hard way power wheelies on a Indian FTR 1200 and black ice at. 26 degrees was a really bad idea.,
word of advice, if you’re gonna wheelie, prepare to fall and fix your bike if needed, but don’t go looking for a tumble
100%
thank you!
but without clutch is more safe! 😊 just need spring the rpm .. and spring the gas and back and again spring and you do a wheelie
Not on an R3
Not safer at all. It may seem easier until you hit the powerband randomly and loop because you’ve never felt balance point
I like how you explain! Can you do how to ride a bike for people starting to learn? ☺️
Yes I can:)
Found my new practice lot
This video did help 😅
Damn that bike looks nice.
Thanks man!
really well explained
Thank you! 🙂
My tnt135 derps whenever i try to clutch up but my z h2 loves it
Great, I don't have a clutch anymore, thank you so much
You're welcome!
Judging by the mask in your profile photo, you never had a brain either.
Your bike looks si coooool omg I love the color
Also not me watching with no personal bike 🥹 (saving up for it)
Try a unicycle,it's safe,fun and great exersize
Can’t mess up a wheelie if you’re on a unicycle ig
Wheelies are cool
wow thats a beautifull motorcycle
What gloves you using? Those look nice.
Thanks! They're from NBT Clothing. Link in the description. Search 'gloves' and they'll pop up!
What exhaust are you running? Sounds freakin' beautiful.
KO Lightning with a baffle
@@Zenith.Garage Where did you buy it?
Off topic. I’ve had an R7 for around 6 weeks, I’ve come from a Honda Grom
What RPM to gear do you sit at?
I’m in 1st until 30 2nd to 45 3rd to 60 80 to 4th etc
Would love a riding tutorial on this fun machine
Love the content my dude
I've had mine for a year now, and been riding for years beyond that. If you're still breaking in the engine stick to the owners manual recommend rpm max. Otherwise I find the bike is quite comfortable at around 5-6K rpm any gear. Not sure what mph that is since I'm metric
I’m usually at 5k just cruising around
nice vid bro
Nice explanation
Abo is clicked
How do you keep the bike stable during the wheelie, whenever I bring the front tyre up the bike wants to go left/right hard, like it wants to slam to its right/left side
Having that same issue sometimes. I've come to the conclusion that I'm not sitting as straight as I think I am.
Drop your tire pressure
drop tire pressure in the rear and/or change body position
What wrap you have on that?
KPMF purple to black. Wrapped by Texas Superbikes
Well i did everything you said but my vespa still wont wheelie, and i called tge manufacturer avout the location of the clutch and they laughed at me, am i missing somethinf?
Clutch?
😂😂😂😂
I looped my brand new 2024 r7 yesterday and I’m so sad😭
Noooo
Damn, how bad's the damage?
i am a little afraid of the jump the bike makes when letting the clutch any advice?
I’ll have a vid coming out on Wednesday that will cover that for you:)
If that makes you afraid you are nowhere near confident enough on a motorcycle to be getting into wheelies yet. Work on bike control so something as small as dropping the clutch dosent scare you.
👍 great video bro
Thanks man:)
Hey nice video but I had a question like why does my footage look like shit when I upload it on yt like i just cut a little on capcut on pc and it looked great then but on yt looks really bad
make sure you upload the video in atleast 1440p resolution then it will look really good. yt compresses 1080p videos a lot
I record in 4k 30fps. Dont shoot in 60 (in my experience). Social media platforms heavily compress footage.
@@Zenith.Garage oh ok thank you bro
Have you turned off ABS or tranction control off? I have an R7 and it jumps hard at 4/5k ish rpm in 2nd gear but doesn't come of the ground. Got any tips for RPM range on the bike to help me get it up? Thanks!
You gotta go higher I thought the same thing and the other night I went to around 6/7k in 2nd and it came up a couple times for the first time
@@gdt1627ok will try this yeah also figured out you have to keep the throttle on and not be scared to release it so fast after dumping the clutch 👍
Don’t even look at the rpm u should just be able to feel how much throttle u need to give before popping the clutch
whats the clutch wear like with clutch-ups compared to standard usage?
Haven’t had any issues yet *knock on wood* I’d assume it’s a bit rougher on it though
with 'standard usage' alot of bikes will go 25 years with the original clutch .. horsing around, figure by this time next year youll be putting a clutch in it .. its no big deal if you love it though ..
We have the same bike what RPM do you usually drop the clutch?
It depends on your speed. You don't want it in the power band, you want it in the lower revs as you are learning.....
How did you get your r7 in purple? I swear I’ve seen just a few online
It’s a vinyl wrap :))
Sooo, what speed and rpm u use for the r7?
I tried with 2nd gear, 40-50kph and like +8k rpm.
My friend on his mt07 tries with like 20-30kph and 5k rpm. What do u say is like a good starting ground?
Just get used to your bike and where the powerband starts to kick up. It's all about how much gas you give it while you're letting out the clutch, every bike is going to be a little different, even depending on the gearing you have too. Just got to get used to YOUR bike not find someone with some tips on the same bike you have with the same gearing
@@JesusChrist_IsTruth-LoveForALL i was more like looking for an opinion. With how i try it, it somewhat works but it can help to get a second opion from someone who knows, whats hes talking about.
@@timoflo369 I feel you. Keep at it bro! You'll get there.
