always top notch. gotta say as a professional designer for 25 years, Chris Do is the most impactful resource I’ve experienced. Thank you for being your best, so we all can as well. 🙌🏼
That means a lot, I'll make sure to share your message with Chris.
When it comes to number two; I was in my 30's and noticed that a lot of people were very stressed and many of them even took sick leave. I promised myself not to allow poor planning to affect me so I became good at calculating lead time. One day one of the managers came to me and said that they needed to deliver what I was doing the next day, and I told him that it wasn't achievable. He responded whit "I don't know but this need to be done", which I replied: I know and explained him the mathematics of that particular task. He just left. Another time a sales person who promised delivery before checking with production wanted something on Thursday and I told him that it would be finished by Monday. He didn't liked it but we hade so many hours each day.
The way you deliver your advice is so engaging. I never get bored watching your videos.
This is a great video that every entrepreneur, supervisor, and manager should watch and learn. The powerful points are 1) allowing people to say ‘No’, 2) be more direct; and 3) be in front to give the experience. It would help organizations and teams achieve goals and objectives faster and better. It would also improve the client and worker experience.
There you go very well said!
Thank you for reminding me of this simple truth
Truly the best video for every entrepreneur!
I remember in my first job, and this really broke me for a bit, I raised concerns for a project because it wasnt clear on many points yet results were expected sooner than it is possible for us to deliver. I started asking more questions about it. My collegue yelled over me that ofcourse we can do anything and marked me as "hard to work with". Saying that I should not speak during meetings and better yet not attend the meetings at all.... This kinda hurt at the time but as a rookie I listened and stopped attending. The project was a complete dissaster and the whole team had a problem because they bit more than they could chew. The collegue pointed fingers at me that its my fault many more times until they got fired. I lead a few meetings afterwards. This was 10 years ago. It was a harsh lesson. But I can say I learned alot from it. All of that being said I watch your videos to gain self confidence. I find it is my biggest flaw as a designer.
Rest in Peace, Keir 😢❤
Thank you ❤for your all videos
Thank you for watching them :-)
Great video. Great insights. Thanks for sharing guys 💪
Our pleasure! What was your favorite insights?
I've had bosses who absolutely didn't want you to say no... Just get it done. When you try to explain things to them, they roll thier eyes.
This was really really good. I've been practicing and implementing saying what's on my mind to the client recently, and it's definitely more challenging thing to do vs in theory. Thanks Chris and Drigo. And rest in peace Keir❤
What’s the hardest part?
@@thefutur Asking about the client's pain. And questioning their thinking around a project, I don't want them to think, that I think they aren't doing their job well, and I'm stepping into their role/not respecting their expertise/position.
Amazing.
Glad you think so!
Watching The Futur is like being a lucky miner. Gold just falls on your lap!
Haha. Thank you
04:58 there's no time I watch your videos and I don't feel like getting a pen out and taking some notes.
Always 🥰
great vid are the hats supposed to blocked for some reason i think they're cool like mysterious lol
I believe that's just how they are
Let me ask Chris for the whole story on what's the deal with the hat, and I'll get back to you.
I‘ll keep commenting, maybe somethimes you need someone urgently for a talk to create content (i doubt that though). I founded a Media Agency, your content is so valuable, many thanks
Thanks for commenting.
Did you make a video on House Of Lies sales techniques? I cant find it anywhere
Tell me more sounds like its a video we need to make...
@@thefutur that show is full of first class manipulative sales techniques, watch it asap u'll love it!
What am I missing? Tape on hats?
It’s designed to make you figure out what’s underneath.
@@thefutur Soooo, DSquared2 is a place where you can buy a pair of jeans for $1800.00. Now I REALLY don't get it. I might be too old to be one of the kool kids? So, is your point that you or I (artists and marketers) only benefit from being subtle if we are already famous? And even then you run the risk that people are too busy to decode or notice signals? Bottom line "Don't make yourself hard for people to read"??
I've definitely had the experience where I have to be clear that it's okay to say no or to tell me the truth. Otherwise, people stress out or get resentful and you don't know why. I for one would like to hear more on this because it's tricky; when to push and when to listen.

It's verry difficult once you start outsourcing things :/
What part of it is difficult?
@@thefutur for me in the majority of the cases is the quality of the service that I am getting, pretty much either you need to accept that you will be either paying premium prices or that you will get a way lower quality.
