I feel your videos are so powerful, Chris. I have learned more indepth concepts from your videos than from paid programs. I genuinely think you breakdown business and marketing concepts so well. Your videos are like a light in the dark for beginner entrepreneurs like me. I have been struggling for 7 years almost and everytime I feel like giving up, your videos show me a way out. You are the best online business school on CZcams
hope you can join us in our paid communities some day.
@thefutur Really looking forward for that one day Chris. Would be such an honor to have you as a mentor or be in a space where you live coach
We TOTALLY need the in-depth videos of the four! âGo, go, Gadget Algorithm!â đ
Yessssss would love that
anticipated this and started production on this already.
I'm so proud of my personal brand. I hope once I get it together, people "feel" my message and hope.
Oh man. I had commented before video was finished. (Neurodiverse for sure) this was absolutely fantastic!
How can I get on a podcast? I need to talk it out. Most of it is stuck in my brain and heart in a jumble.
What a great video! I feel like this is why I love Tyler and Donald Glover. We saw Donald not get the Spider-Man role, we saw Tyler not get played on the radio, and find an âenemyâ in DJ Khaled and win!
While I'm still struggling with crafting my authentic personal brand, this video captured a lot of what I've learned so far with Chris on this channel. Ironically, I'm a writer and I didn't think the hero's story method and tapping into my cultural capital plus my vulnerabilities can make me stand out. Thanks Chris for sharing this helpful knowledge!
YES! Been waiting for your breakdown on this. Keep em' Coming
I am so thankful for this personal brand series (as well as the plethora of content you have on CZcams).
I'm an introverted extrovert, so this definitely helps!
Can't wait for the other Pillar videos (hint, hint).
Just shared, liked and been a sub for ages. Want to take a moment to say thank you for your generosity+ kindness with your content, much of which I align. Ironically, I am a teacher trying to get out of education by getting my business earning enough for me to live on but also to thrive + be prosperous. I love this content because it's helping me to realize + understand the intangibles in my teaching skillset and how I can better serve the people I want to buy my products which is B2B videography. Thanks Chris + all those working behind the scenes to make this content happen. I truly hope one day I can pay it forward in a meaningful+ valuable contribution to your organization.
This was so crazy insightful thank you so much!!! I NEEED to see you talk more about the key components!!!!
Thanks so much, Chris. This is for multiple reviewings. I want to "get it" before I share it. Then I'll share it. Truly powerful perspective.đŠ đŠ đŠ
Gratitude âšïž đđŸ đ yes definitely breakdown the 4 parts please. This was very eye opening.
Great video! I would love to see this turned into a series. Thanks! Best wishes on all your endeavors!
Thank you Chris for giving me so much insane value. I love your book but also all your content, I can't wait to join your Pro Group in the future! You're an absolute Legend!!!
It's actually so hard to start a personal brand, I've been trying for quite a bit now and I struggle between the balance of finding your purpose and just posting videos for the sake of posting. But here are some tips I got from my mentor.
1. Find yourself
2. Build yourself up, invest in yourself, become stable
3. Find your role in the world
So a nice thing to add I learned from this video is to create an "enemy" or just try and create a commonality to really connect with your audience.
Some pretty dubious advice none of it's very actionable. Sounds nice but hard to make use of.
I advise searching for stories in your past for moments that were important to you. Explore why those moments were important to you. Did you do something for someone? Did someone do something for you? Did something just happen that made you feel a certain way? Ask why until you can't go deeper and then go a bit deeper.
If you just want to post for the sake of posting, why? What's important about posting videos? Why not go running? Or doing any of the other millions of other things? Why do YOU care about posting videos and why should anyone care about the videos you post. To add, videos shouldnt be the motivation. Videos should be the vehicle for what you want to bring to the world.
Having an enemy is fine in a story context but in the real world you don't really have enemies which you wish to defeat. You have rivals who motivate you to grow by reminding you of who you are. You don't want them to go away.
The finding is in the doing
The best video yet. True edutainment. I first learnt about Personal Branding over 10 years ago. But I experienced it much earlier, more than 20 years ago. We had on Olympic Swimmer here in Australia, Samantha Riley. She was really loved by all and had the girl next door image. One day, I saw her at the local bakery and I said Hi Sam, waved, smiled. In that moment, I had forgotten that I didnât actually know her. But she was gracious and smiled and said Hi back.
this is SO helpful! liked, commenting, and sent to a friend
understanding your Core is so important before putting art into the world and building community
we need the follow up videos!
This is brilliantly simple yet so difficult to accomplish. Thank you Chris for what you believe and why you do this. The creative community really appreciates what you do!
Found this video by chance. Gave it a listen, and had a lot of fun listening to the whole story. Thanks for unpacking this! đ
Good to see you in the feed my guy! Crushed this vid no surprise!
I love the way you broke this down. I never really thought through it quite the way you laid it out ⊠especially fame versus influence and I love how we need to make sure that we can have a common enemy and that we canât be afraid of having some people that donât like our message. As always, thanks for the amazing content.đđ
I believe sharing your vulnerabilities with others is one of THE most powerful tools on any scale, in my previous job as a teacher , whenever I would open up to my students about what I'm struggling with I immediately felt a deeper sense of connection. They would feel like their teacher is a human like them, and the more you try preserve your image as a perfect human being, the more miserably you're going to fail.
Lately, Iâve been working really hard at personal growth and trying to figure out how to apply it to a bigger scale. I think this video will be beneficial in figuring that out. Thank you, Chris!
I enjoyed this so much⊠I have to re-Watch it and take more notes⊠Iâm currently figuring out my personal brand, so this is much needed information. Thank you â€
Wow, this is completely full of value! Im gonna have to rewatch at least 3 times! đ I took notes all the way and now I know what I am going to action first. Thanks Chris
Absolutely one of kind information. I've had the pleasure of attending one of your workshops and this is just as valuable. The person I've admired for a long time and who definitely passes the test is musician, singer, wine creator, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, amateur chef/restauranteur Maynard James Keenan (vocalist for the bands Tool, A perfect circle and Puscifier) Not only does all three band have awards and recognitions but so does his wineries and he just received his black belt. This month he opened a fried chicken restaurant at one of his breweries in Arizona. One thing i have learned from him is having a love for different disciplines does not make you lost. As a designer with multi disciplined mindset myself, i believe there is a place in this world for designers like myself. Now onto figuring out this personal brand...
Random complement Chris: I like that you can talk very abstract and articulate without using overly abstract language.
I feel like a lot of gurus out there at talk very abstract because they donât know what theyâre saying and theyâre hoping someone whoâs looking for emotional support will latch onto it.
But I appreciate that you talk in concepts anchored with knowledge. Love your personal brand bro keep it up. Iâm learning.
Also, I shared your video with a friend đ€
Thank you so much. I do my best to communicate difficult to understand subjects and ground them in ways that are accessible.
Just came across your channel. Great content! Your brand resonates with me and Iâll be back for more!
New subscriber and loving your content style, rhythm and deliver. Thanks for the inspiration and permission to play a bigger game!
I love this video and direct content! Been working on my keynote speech and this extra input helps a lot!
Awesome man. I have not defined my personal brand intentionally...yet, but it is interesting what some friends notice about me.
Kind of thinking this way with no training on it, so amazing to hear it put into words that ring true to my understanding. Thank you!
As a professional âover-sharerâ, I am happy to see transparency/ vulnerability up there đ
Yess! Dive deeper until those key components. Building a personal and corporate brand.
As always, another video filled with value! More of this topic, please. Thank you!!!!
I'd enjoy a deeper look at the 4 concepts you shared.
Thanks also for all that you do share. đ„
This was great! I often click on videos and never get to the end, boring or not informative. your information is compelling and very informative. Thanks.
Appreciate it
Your Videos are a gift! Thanks đ
Liking and saving this and totally waiting for the in-depth videos đ
I just click so fast to this one. Love this content of personal brand. Keep going đ€đż
Thank you
These are gems. It's amazing how I always gain clarity from hearing from you.
Here because Chris asked to like & comment, of course I would also like to see more videos going in-depth into this topic .
It's also nice to see videos such as this that talks about more about the theoretical framework of the topic.
we are cooking up another one.
thanks for value my man!
I found this channel recently. Every single video is gold. I will be following and also taking your courses. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome to the Futur. Thank you
Chris you're my go-to person when it comes to learning about building a personal brand. Thanks a ton for this!! For content creators who are learning about building your own personal brand, I wish you success. We got this! đȘ
Thank you. we got this!
@@thefutur Is that you Chris? Please let Chris Do know that I am learning a ton from him. I honestly don't know what the heck I am doing with my YT channel but his personal brand videos gave clarity in what I'm suppose to do. Thank you. đ
I absolutely loved everything about this video! Thank you so much!
Step 1: Start ;)
The hardest
loved this Chris. thank you!
Thank you for existing Chris! A wealth of info.
Never did anyone list down a series of questions to test like this. Many thanks. I just launched my own tiktok marketing agency and personal branding / company branding is exactly what my clients need. And this video simplifies the process of me having to explain to them, on what they need to do, how they should do it.
This is one of my favorite channels thank you for all that you do
Thank you so much!
How is this content free??!! Gosh! I've learned more about branding in the last 28 min than in 5 months and a $387 digital marketing course!! Thanks Chris and the Futur team!
Awww wish you bought one of our coursesđą
Amazing video, thanks for sharing đ
Incredible how Chris can continue to evolve the concept of personal branding; every new video he makes adds more substance to the topic and makes it even clearer how to execute a personal brand.
We keep going deeper. Follow along.
I had to pause this video to write a comment - damn, you packed that video with knowledge! I am writing alongside like a maniac đ Will definitely listen to it more often. Currently I try to reduce consumption and take away unnecessary noice. I still struggle to take action from time to time, but it's getting better đ
Love this. And I think one needs a note to jot things down whenever we watch
Great video. I needed this! Thank youđđœđđœ
đđđđThank you for this inisights, Chris! Vulnerability really what makes people relateâ€
Crazyy vid. So much knowledge i get from this.
Great value content again đđœ
Love it
Really enjoyed this conversation. Thanks.
You provide so much value! Of course Iâll comment. Thanks for asking.
Hey Chris,
I agree 100% with this. Just building my list of enemies starting with those people on insta who keep pushing false narratives of hacks including trending audio.
Keep âem coming.
Dude I've only watched a couple videos but in each of them you weren't dropping gems but vibranium meteorites. Absolutely golden
Haha. Double points for comic reference
Thanks for a great detailed and informative video, I would definitely love it if you create further videos to expand on the 4 points that your described are required to make a successful personal brand. I am not looking to be mega rich or mega famous but I am looking to make a difference and to share what I believe are valuable lessons I have learnt in my life journey to this point
Suchhh a good episode! Some deep therapy right here
This was a fantastic video Chris! This video aligns well with your recent podcast with Daniel Priestly! Currently after hearing that podcast, I'm listening to the audio book of "Oversubscribed" by Daniel.
This video helps to add another level of depth of creating a strong personal brand. I appreciate the work you put into this! đđŒ
Easily the best video i have watched on personal brand
Great vid Chris âšđđŸâš
This is so powerful..... Chris is a master teacher of personal branding â€ïž
Thanks, Chris for this video while I was watching it resonated with the exact key elements you helped explain to me to get a better understanding. Really great knowledge and teaching hands down.
Very insightful and really enjoy your videos and podcasts. Thank you!
You definitely aren't talking to the abyss.
I have just embarked on this journey, and it feels illegal to be getting all this knowledge for free.
You've helped and inspired me a lot. Thanks You Sir.
Thank you for the breakdown, just what I need it to hear today.
I needed this. You seem to never run out of gems
Thank you
This is so valuable. Thank you!
This is amazing. I took notes through the whole thing.
You've really changed my mind about certain things.
I'm a private person and don't like to be vulnerable.
But people can't connect to that, the penny has finally dropped!
While carrying water and chopping wood (for the millionth time) I very much enjoy listening to what you have to offer. Cheers and much gratitude đ
you an outdoorsy person?
@@thefutur Hmm đ€ I wonder, if I would have said âwhile Iâm peeling potatoes I enjoy listening to you ââŠmight you have asked me if I enjoy cooking. In spite of defining yourself as a introvert you have (in my opinion) mastered the art of engagement. Thanks you for your attention and sure I can be outdoorsy đ
@@thefutur man, I replied to this days ago and I donât see it⊠sorry about that⊠I like being outside. I donât think I have ever seen you with a tan so Iâm guessing you are more of a indoor kinda warrior đ
Fantastic, I can't understand why there are so few views, the value of it is mind-blowing.
Highly enjoyable. Liked, commented and saved. Deep dive away.â€
The level of inspiration that i felt after this video is incredible. Thank you Chris.
This topic is worth a series đ
Excellent video, Chris!
LIVEEEE FOR THIS!
Great insights on the power of vulnerability in personal branding. One advanced tactic is leveraging 'micro-moments' - brief, authentic glimpses into your daily life or behind-the-scenes that can significantly deepen audience engagement and trust. Remember, consistency in these moments builds a narrative that resonates more profoundly over time.
Chris Do - The Hero in my creative business journey.
Love this video. Doing a deep dive on it in the future. đ
Chris Do always dropping the most useful advice and breaking it down for us to make it make sense †thank you always!
Great analysis on the essence of personal branding, especially the emphasis on emotional connection over mere fame. This approach not only deepens audience engagement but also elevates the perceived value of associated products or ideas. đ
Please go over the 4 components of marketing and how they relate to character qualities you mentioned earlier in the video!
This is an excellent video. Chris, I seriously love you. I so appreciate your generosity and your astute observations on what is working.
Thank you so much Jaimem
The Futur is the best class I have found in University of CZcams. đ„đ„
please Chris, do the 4 in-depth videos!!đ„
Great video Chris. I think one thing that came up for me is that a personal brand only has power with their audience. I never see Kanye in my feed, I don't listen to his music, he has no influence on me, in fact I can't really stand him, so there is zero emotional connection. So a personal brand has power and influence if we care about the person in some way. The Rock on the other hand meets the criteria you used, but feels like he has more influence. Just my thoughts on this
That's a refreshing view on this topic, thanks Chris!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is more insightful than I thought thanks Chris đđŒđđœ
what a video Chris, and the last part you said about school is something that I've been telling my friends recently but they say that I don't like school,
Here's the thing right, I live in Africa where the highest paid people are Masters Degree holders and they earn like 600$ onna regular and that is if they find a job after the 6 years to acquire the first two degrees. And most of my older brothers and parents are not working cause there's literally no job, but everyone is still telling me since I started Uni this year " be serious in school, work hard and get a good job'".
And all I be thinking is that didn't all of you guys work hard in school so what's up with the jobs now, and I honestly mean no disrespect when I'm saying this, but it just comes off that way.
So recently like last year, I read a book that clearly shows and give detailed steps to how to be successful and I'm using that as my plan, but here's the thing now, I didn't tell nobody, but If it happens for me, then I know I can show the way to the rest of the family too so we all can leave the trenches together.
Chill dude, value and perspective given, had 3 gasses of wine - written some notes, going to apply the perspective. Thx
that's the way to consume this type of content.
Nice video! A lot of valuable insights. Thanks!
Everytime you go right to the meaningful points. It's like life, put in the perspective that life is a Journey not a struggling.
