True
I agree. Would be even more awesome to tune up on ur videos if I was able to focus 100%. Nice content though! đ
Agreed no BG music :)
I concur
Chris and Mo really hit the nail on the head with the importance of adapting communication styles.
†Great talk, thank you both đ đ
"I'm nothing and I'm everything at the same time" Yes, thats possible. It's all about mindset. We have all we need inside of each of us.
Loved this video! Chris and Mo gave great tips on communication. The focus on intention, tone, and adapting styles was super helpful. The real-life examples and stories made it all so relatable. Canât wait to use these tips! Thanks for an awesome episode! đ
Glad you enjoyed it!
I really enjoyed this conversation :) I was fortunate enough to work with great fashion designers and artists over the years, and I had the opportunity to peer inside their minds. Short story: I was having a morning coffee with a fashion designer, Pat McDonagh, on the patio in front of her studio (Toronto, 2013). We were sitting in silence, and she was observing pigeons. At one moment, she asked me (I don't remember the exact words): "Do you see how the feathers change colours when the sun hits them? I can order a sequin fabric with similar colours for the next collection. Add some feathers to the shoes." At that moment, I was like, OMG!! I just witnessed the birth of her new collection! We get to see this on a runway - all coming from that moment of silence and observation.
Amazing!
I just had an Eureka moment with this comment. Thank you!
I think this conversation hit the nail on the head. For me it boiled down to utilizing empathy to push your personal boundaries of communication as far as possible. The more you learn/observe, the better you can understand others, meaning the better the communication or connection.
As an architect, I can say that they have really good insights when talking about tiles. If you are skilled in one design field, your knowledge and skills translate well to other design fields as well.
âIâm nothing and Iâm everything at the same time.â
I wish everyone had this level of understanding not only that they could be nothing and everything (their true selves) but also allowed others to be nothing and everything.
I needed this video. Thank you guys. God bless you both
Youâre very welcome
I came here to learn effective communication skills, and left with a deep dive in self reflection; professional, spiritual, mindfulness, etc., etc. And also took me like 3 hours of back and forward to watch the whole video. Love that and Thank you! Great content! đ đ đ đ
I do enjoy listening to you. It helps me deal with my customers. I do custom memory items. I draw a lot from your videos. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing all those stories.
I liked the talks about fashion,
I have a particular fashion style, mixing streetwear, techwear and gorpcore, when I started wearing those clothes a couple years ago, I could see people in the streets looking at me funny, some people would also compliment me on my style, so I never really cared about the âfunny looksâ.
Throughout the years my style evolved, but I always felt good with what I used to wear.
The thing is, I donât see no one looking at me funny no more.
I wonder if its because I own up my style better and truly am myself with the clothes I wear, or if I simply donât give a F about the weird looks so much that I donât see them at all anymore.
I also feel like building your fashionstyle is the same as building you artstyle,
You canât copy someone elseâs style and feel like yourself, you can start by doing so as a base to create your own, but I feel like Chrisâ style is so in sinc with his personality that thats why his friend couldnât âpull it offâ.
I can pull of weird ass looking boots and clothes with hundreds of pockets and zippers, but no way I can pullof big ass glasses and a snapback
I think your confidence grew into your fashion. When youâre at ease you put people at ease.
đ Understanding the importance of intentionality in communication is crucial for fostering meaningful connections! Adapting your communication style to suit different individuals can lead to more effective and empathetic interactions. Keep exploring and refining your communication skills to create impactful experiences through conversations! đŁâš
Absolutely!
Such a great conversation and honest share! wow! Truly refreshing and magical! Thank you wholeheartedly for filming this conversation and sharing it!
Really loved listening to you guys. I got so much out of this conversation. So many ideas to go out and implement with intention to be as fearless as Chris.
Love you guys-thanks again for all your wisdom, insights and for being curious to be nothing and everything â€ïžâ€ïžâ€ïž
That's the level of attention to detail that got me switched from Android to iOS after noticing things like the fake blur vs the real-time blur happen behind notification/control center overlays. Very minor details, but after you notice, you can't unsee. And as a designer, I coudln't resist.
Amazing conversation; I enjoyed the granular nature of this conversation.đ
Glad you enjoyed it!
30:30 LaRussell is awesome đ. Signed by another great rapper and big inspiration to me, RUSS
Just had a communication breakdown and you post this. Thank you đđŒ
You are so welcome
I feel that this conversation has more gold than people realize
Thank you
Thank you so much .
Spot on with the natural stone. An easy way to know what is printed and what is real is the pattern. Every tile should be unique if natural stone.
If every tile is the same it's man made (ceramic or porcelain)
Another way to tell is by pouring water on the surface. Natural stone is porous and will absorb the water. Ceramic and porcelain will not absorb the water
Excellent topic and discussion. I bought my first skate deck Santa Cruz Slasher because of the graphics but eventually bought a HammerHead too because I wanted to skate like Christian Hosoi.
Your content is always the best!
Glad you think so!
I can't wait to get stuck into this!
Chris - other than Seth Godin, who are you studying to expand your range in vocabulary and cadence? Fire episode. Thanks for letting us in.
I've been a fan of Chris Do and Ryan Holiday for quite some time. I'm excited to watch Chris get into how Marcus A. warns himself about who he is going to encounter in the day in relationship to the cleint service advice he gives. The compliment each other nicely.
Iâve been unwittingly practicing stoicism. Who knew?
I want to go places with Chris just so he can point out all the ways the lack of attention to detail disappoints him.
Who trains Mo to ask these beautiful questions like that?
I had a conversation with another business owner and he talked about the scar on his face. He had to be extra careful how he communicated because people would interpret his body language as anger.
Edit and bg music is good thoughâ€
Great talk ;)
the inner space !
Do Mo Magic! â€
*I want to travel with YOU CHRIS !!*
Edit - ONE DAY I WILL TRAVEL WITH YOU đŻ
You should!

Do and Mo. đ
Chris. Did you buy the Gator Vision?
No. I couldnât. Given Gator went to jail for murdering his GF.
Lol, Charming razor blade đ

I have
Why all the time watching The Futur / Chris Do it's like you got the guts to move on in life even if you fall you get up suck it up and fight. Nothing is precious than your mind and guts to say yes or no.
You got it!
The ability to observe without evaluating, without judgment, is the highest form of human intelligenceâ sounds like the âEmperorâs new clothes.â Our fear of being judged as unintelligent might keep us from evaluating the statement. When observed what does intelligence look like, and without evaluating how might one determine one form as being higher than the other. I like the irony. Thanks again.. cheers
To observe without judgment. Itâs difficult to do. That does not mean to not evaluate. Itâs to resist the temptation of seeing what you want to see vs whatâs really there.
@@thefutur Observing with the clear intention to understand, not to agree or disagree⊠Iâm imagining thereâs more to this⊠I wonder what the outcome might be if this strategy was mastered. Thanks for responding đ
Judging means applying our value system onto another person.
Do we have all the informations necessary for judging them: what they were going threw, and even if, do we know how their life feels to them in their skin, what natural energy level they have, did they choose their IQ, the culture and their parents who formed or may be even abused them ... ?
Completely understand the champagne taste. So don't have the money.
What is MOâs background? Perhaps socials?
First!
Second!
Guys need help! who is this Kentucky guy they were talking about on the last part??
a flashy use of Krishnamurti just for the sake of it, doing the opposite on the next sentence .. the speaker has made a fool of hm slf
The main lesson I get from this video is: have confidence in herself, in where you are, and be authentic. Thanks for this. @thefutur
Me need to speak gooder :)
You communicate with your tumbnail Jordan Peterson
You communicate about Jordan Peterson zero times
You communicate very poorly
Can anyone explain this with communication?
Mo is annoying. He must pay alot of money to keep popping up on your vids everywhere you go. I hope all this tutoring he receives is limiting his ego and resistance that is so obvious.
Haha. Iâm paying him. So he must be playing his cards right.
They way they make your mind begin to think of a process with just words. The build up to cause an action is how I felt amazing đđđđ«Ą
