I'm a 62 yr old grandmother and just got my first T. Always wanted one so took the plunge. Got a 3/4" Chaco Golden Knee. Here's a video idea .... I didn't think about MY age in this... It could easily out live me! I downloaded the app and am trying to figure out how to use it. Also I live in a travel trailer/camper, so room is very limited. I really wish there were resources for more mature Ts so people like me could enjoy their adult colorings, I'd love to get two more, it's all the room I have. I'd love to add a Brazilian black and a GBB. Love your content, great information in there! so, Thank You !

Since I only have one tarantula, I am glad to see that this app has categories for lots of other invertebrates. I love the features!
I've been using the app since you did the first video on Arachnifiles and I love it. Its a great way to keep myself organized and make sure I'm staying on top of their care. It's also an easy way to show people my collection without digging through a photo album!

I have been a spider enthusiast since I was a kid. Catching house spiders and putting them in a coffee can with sticks and ventilation, to owning a rose haired tarantula throughout middle and highschool. I got an aquarium the other day and have been doing some heavy research into getting a tarantula again. Your videos are amazing, and more importantly, informative. I'm going to get a green bottom blue and go from there. Centipedes intrigue me and I already have a fully functional isopod family going with my kid. You've found a new subscriber, look forward to more videos

Its been thanks to you that I am getting my first T's in the next week or so.
I got one from Petsmart, despite knowing you said not to as Im not helping anything... but I unfortunately couldn't look at my brand new Avicularia Avicularia in its teeny tiny box as a Juvi and think that was okay. So I gave it a new home in a dry food goods container as a temp, while T. Cribs sends out a proper arboreal enclosure for the guy.
Got myself a G. Pulcra, a Chromo Cyan and a A. Genic coming in on tuesday from Fear Not, as well as going to a exotic expo this Saturday to see if they ahve any that I really wanted that Fear not didn't have. Like my G. Pulcirpes. Just wanna say, you're awesome and have been enjoying your work for a while now!
I actually downloaded and tried to use it when you first talked about it 😊 sadly it was somehow really buggy when i tried to use it, it somehow often deleted tarantulas and info i put in and also crashed a lot. But i am really happy to hear they updated it a lot so i am gonna try using it again because it actually is a really cool app 😊👍 thanks for explaining it all 🤩👍 edit: and deleted it, couldn't log in with my old account, tried to sign up with a new e-mail and i just get errors 😥😕 not a good start 😅

Maybe the pro version is more intuitive but I feel like there should be more auto-filled cells - e.g. if I select an OW species why do I have to put the OW in there by myself … venom potential would be something that can be selected automatically as well.
Overall it appears to be a lot of WIP which is good, but for me not yet worth anywhere 50 bucks or even more.
I’m convinced that I need such kind of app in my life so keep the work up guys :)
The reason it's not an autofill just yet is that the database for that system needs to be built. There isn't one (that I know of) where I can call an api to get all that. I'm a one man army, so on top of everything plus my full-time job, it does take a little bit. 😅. But that system is in the works to be done! 😁

This app looks very helpful. I currently only have 4 spiders, 3 tarantulas and 1 jumping spider but I would love to expand my collection, so having an app like this to keep track of things like feedings is awesome. I’m also looking for females to breed my male Venezuelan Sun Tiger so if I can find a female, that would be so cool.

I watched and read alot about spider/tarantulas
But how to prevent mold breaking in to terrarium do you need to add springtails to it or just re house it what to do to just prevent mold?
I suggested one thing back in the beginning that he did use. I have a ton of parthanogenic scorpions. So he added that as an option under sex.

I use arachifiles, but I wish there was preloaded info & pic for when you select their genus and species... i hate having to keep a separate file for just my arachnifile pics... it's also frustrating when you move feom living to passed and it deletes the file 😞...

I used to have the app. All my pictures of my T's disappear and it became a feature they charged for. That's when I stopped using it.
My question is will the tarantula collective be able to collect all species of tarantulas out there ?
Given that theres 1100 species i highly doubt it especially since alot of coubtries dont allow exports

This app is equivalent to an RPG game. I don't like RPGs. It's a great app. The horde of options drives my anxiety through the roof.
