@@RiverCertified for real I was bass fishing the other day and they just don't hit the same in the winter. Typically you will have a fish on and not even know it.

Tributary to the river's,when the water level rises,they move up into those small cricks and when level drops they stay.
Musky,Walleye,Carp,cats all love the chubs,crayfish, Helgrammite,Darters that loiter in the cricks feeding the rivers..
So much food for them, people do not even realize they are there because they do not feed normally due to so much food there when they need it.
I have had Musky's run my line off the spool in them little cricks.Nice one there...

Dude. As a guy who's done a bit of kayaking down rivers that got gnarly, this here is the truth. My brother got hung up in one a few months back and it was all he could do to not get suck under. A couple of us had to go back upstream, float some rope down to him and drag him out from shore. Probably took all of 3 minutes. Felt like 3 hours of him white knuckle clinging to a trunk. It was actually his kayak being a little too big and less agile that got him in trouble. Stay safe out there.

@@Hydraulic2cool IDK 55 probably. My biggest one I've weighed was a little over 50. Got some bigger that I didn't have a scale. The fight is the best part, so I don't always worry about a scale.

I was fishing for flathead with a bluegill and they weren’t biting so I switched to a Nightcrawler and caught a 52 inch 45 pound sturgeon

I know this an old video but if you read any of these you need to carry one of those small chain saws in a water proof sack or some kind of container. Could be a life saver. Really enjoy your videos stay safe.

You rarely see flathead catfish that dark of color actually it’s very rare. I truly believe there’s 2 species of flathead catfish and the really dark colored ones are just very rare.
