  • How to replace spark plugs and ignition coils in a 2011 BMW X3 with an N52 engine. Same basic procedure applies to other engines as well.

    Where the recording of you removing the back cylinders 5&6 spark plugs, was curious what you had to remove?

    It should be 30 Nm instead of 23 Nm, this n52 spark plug has the 14mm thread that needs 30 Nm as stated in the bmw official service manual.

    great video! You wouldn't happen to have a link to the spark plug socket used would you? Also when disconnecting the positive terminal in the engine bay, is that the same as disconnecting the battery or should you also disconnect the battery itself in addition to that positive post in the engine bay? Thanks in advancea!

      Don’t ever disconnect your battery unless you have a scan tool to reset it or you plan on towing it to the dealer!!
