- Look inside Edifier Studio 7 also called Edifier R2700 2.0 active PC multimedia speakers system setup from Edifier. From edifier can get some alternative active speakers: edifier r1280t, edifier r980t, R1000T4, R1600T III, R1700BT and R1800T III. These Edifier Studio 7 (R2700) are so amazing good, I compare these one with my magnat speakers I am so *ucking sad, that my magnat cost 4 time more, but sound so similar. These Edifier active home speakers are amazing deal for this price, about 150$. You get 3-way active speakers with three-amping technology amplifier and optical input + remote control. Some of features from homepage: Electronic bass tone control with DSP technology, Dual digital (optical, coaxial) and two analog (RCA) audio inputs, Completely wooden cabinet with MDF-plates, Magnetic shielding, Professional 5-pin XLR connection cable, Conveniently located side panel with full digital control and Wireless Remote Control.

I just bought a pair of 2750s. I was after something bigger and better sounding than the Sony Bluetooth unit in my garage where I spend a lot of time. These are certainly larger than I had in mind but totally worth it. Heaps louder than what I had and the sound quality is superb. You wouldn’t call them audiophile quality but for the price, they are awesome. Love them.
These actually seem to do things the right way, considering they are extremely inexpensive. Not that there's much point to going for a three way at this kind of price, but the system appears to be fully active + DSP crossovers. I wish more companies would go this route as passive xovers in this kind of price range are always a joke.
Looks very nice and high quality as all Edifier speakers. Sound test please.
I have the R2750dB and R2000db both are amazing speakers. I started to love Edifier speakers top-notch for price/quality ratio.
I have hard time deciding between those both two? What do you prefer

Edifier speakers seem to be of high quality.
for PC speaker segment too quality :)
I must say that the magnets in bass and middle speaker drivers are quite big which is nice, but tweeter driver looks kinda poor. The newer versions of R27xx models have different (round) tweeter. Maybe the magnet is a bit bigger there.
I don't know what's poor about the tweeter since it looks like good quality one

Im a noob so maybe dumb question. Is it good idea to get good external amplifier for those speakers? Is it even possible?
mar-v-son these are called active speakers means they come with a built in amplifier which means you should not go for an extra amplifier since the speakers are pre amped already therefore connecting these speakers with an extra i.e. 100 watts amplifier will be a serious torture for the speakers, plus the sound should be distorted pretty much, and of course your wish would be highly supported if these speakers weren't pre amped, in that case you could easily play these speaker with any external good amplifier. i personally don't like edifier speakers tbh. Microlab is better.
+ active speakers have active audio crossover, for external amp way you need build 3-way passive audio crossover, that cost more then 60$ + stereo amp, or you can build external biamp system, that have inside, for this way you need DSP device for active crossover and 3 stereo amps.
99% i believe, that good external power up solution sound better then stock, but cost for this solution will be to high, for cheaper price you can bougt just better passive hifi speakers and stereo amp :)
all you need is one receiver (amplifier), and put a 3-way pasive crossover inside the cabinets of your speakers.

most edifier bookshelf system are using class D amps. If you see at the back of the speakers there's no heatsink because class d amps don't get that hot even with no heatsink on the amps.

The woofer and midrange cannot mount on one same chamber its inteference each other.. These speaker can be upgraded.. Use saparate chamber tune the croosover and displace speaker with higher quality
finally that cost more than better speakers :D
Did you notice they are already in separate Chambers
if you watch the entire video. The midrange speaker is separated in another chamber of the enclosure. 😉
