I guess they had to be pretty uninformed to be Amico fans in the first place - but to STAY that way, after two years of delays and excuses just seems like willful ignorance.
The people that still think Amico has a chance either don't follow it much, or listen to everything the company says and treat it as gospel. There's little in-between.
Nah, it’s just another case of sunk cost fallacy. The guy probably spent a good chunk of money on the crowdfunding campaign, refuses to accept he was scammed and is now looking for a third party to blame.
Most likely just trapped in the amico echo chamber. He's probably only ever seen or heard about the CU podcast through out of context clips, 2nd hand information and straight up made up shit on forums/reddit. I have to say that echo chamber's got to be getting pretty lonely these days.

We at least know they jumped on the bandwagon pretty late in the game to get the impression that Pat and Ian were the ones starting drama with Tommy lol. According to Ian's story though the guy never really mentioned Amico but rather was just fixated on Tommy lol.

It's funny b/c a lot of these same people saw right through Mike Kennedy and the Coleco chameleon for what it was. But b/c these idiots liked Tommy and saw no wrong in anything he did, so obviously his console couldn't be a scam. They do look like idiots for giving him an unopposed platform, shilling this piece of crap game system, giving him money, or just out and out attacking anyone who said anything slightly negative and lying on his behalf.

In regards to review Tech USA, he is one of the biggest fraud on CZcams the guy barely play video games and talks about them (he has said this multiple times) I remember him trying to play dying light and couldn’t even press the jump button to climb. No one should take him serious I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen a video of him talking about a video game that I played and he’s talking about and I know he didn’t play it.
I believe he needed his dad to help him build a PC too.
I wish there could be clear closure to the Amico fiasco. How does something like this end? Bankruptcy and everyone disappears?

Love that last point about maturing is when you don’t feel s need to acquiesce to someone else’s hostilities. It’s like when i was early in my adulthood i put up with a lot of crap in my first part time job because i desperately wanted to save up for a graphics tablet and basically couldn’t afford to tell people that were pushing me off to go cram it with walnuts. But nowadays I’m older and don’t have to put up with anywhere near as much crap as before.
Just recently i got into a heated argument with someone iv was previously on friendly terms with over a particular thing about cannabis and driving impaired. Honestly i didn’t really care that he had a different view to mine but the way he was arguing his position was so disrespectful that i ended up saying to him that his of “it IS because I say it IS” style of arguing may work on his son and other children but when trying to convince a fellow adult you need evidence and a convincing argument if you hope to sway them to your point of view. The more you try to grow beat them in s father knows best kinda way the more you’re gonna convince them that you’re fulla shit

I know Ian is a good person, and for someone to get in his face, give him crap , and for him to reason with the person and explain his stance, that is pure class, hats off to Ian. DJC the "Devastating Just Cause" is the investor that makes pro amico videos but never says hes invested into Amico. He invested $600 and is probably the biggest Amico cultist on youtube. Hes currently waiting for Mike Mullis to send him the supposed amico test unit. Whats funny is its the same amico they used in the John Alvarado unboxing video. When Mike Mullis takes it out of the box you can see the same box damage in the same exact spots from the Alvarado unboxing video. If they had more then 1 Amico why didn't they send out multiple units at once. Obviously they only have 2 or 3 of these built, and there using these low viewership youtubers to try to draw in some more investors which isn't going to work.
I tried to meet pat at a SoCal retrocon years ago and I felt slighted by him at the time. I will give pat credit though, I brought it up to him on a Steam forum and he apologized and said that was not his intention. That's really all I can ask... I hope to get the chance to meet pat again and under better circumstances.

The guy behind the Coleco Chameleon & that old game auction site once gave me a bunch of free game soundtracks when I asked him if he had anymore for sale when I missed an auction. That doesn’t change the fact that he was a shady businessman that acted horribly to you two & anyone who looked at the Coleco with ANY amount of questions.
I’ve been to a Video Games Live concert & own their Blu-Ray from the New Orleans recording when Tommy brought Ralph Baer on stage, doesn’t change the fact that now Tommy is a bad businessman & bad person to anyone that isn’t a fanboy of his.

It's funny, I agreed with Ian's original opinion on the Amico 100%, and I rarely agree with Ian (especially that much), which is probably why I remember it so well.

I actually have an Intellivision Amico shirt, but I got it during the very beginning before all hope was lost. It's actually an extremely comfortable shirt, but now I'm kind of ashamed to wear it anywhere. Oh well, I guess it'll just be a comfy at-home shirt. Tommy did seem like a good guy, at first. This guy asking why you made it personal clearly didn't watch or listen to what you had to say, they just listened to what Tommy and others had to say and took their side rather than look into it and see what was actually going on from multiple sources. It happens all too frequently these days.
The good thing would be that if you wore it out, 95% of people wouldn't know what it was. However those 5% might think you're a Amico cultist if you do.
