That's so cringey, I have trouble watching it more than once. You can see him at different stages of his life as he repeats this weak joke over and over for 30 years. I notice he has 3 meanings to the same joke: sometimes he's joking about "he's so short we can't see him", other times "he's so mysterious we don't how he looks like" and surprises us, and other times "he's so distracted he forgot we were talking about him". The odd thing is, he HAS to introduce himself either through a cartoon-like scene or after his ol' funny joke. It might be a bad old tv show biz habit, but it's weird nonetheless.
