Wow, you made the front grip replacement look so easy I'm having the hardest time replacing mine to put resin grips on. but overall great job it looks amazing.
Older video, but great work! I wish I had your workshop. Question: did you do a full repaint of the wand body (all that too-shiny black plastic) or did you just paint some black over it? The finish looks smooth (and less plastic) like a clean repaint, but it didn't really look like you did that, in the video's painting sequence.
Hey! Thanks a bunch! Not I did not repainted the black part (maybe I should have) but the acrylic wash, the rust powder, dirt and better scratch made it look more believable.

Hello Tyler! I don't really do that for the money. I just like to build stuff. The black glue is simply, well, black hot glue. You can get it on amazon. The brass nails are simply brass rivets and are simply for the look. They don't secure much. I hope that answers your questions. Cheers!
Amazing work man. Those are skills that I wish I had but if I tried doing that somehow I would just melt the entire thing down to a puddle of plastic and my tears. I am just curious to know. Does modding something like this hurt the resale value if you were to sell it years from now. It looks like it came straight out of the movie with your mods but I am just curious to know if someone would pay more money for it or would they want the stock wand? I got the pack coming to me when Hasbro releases them next spring and I will never sell it. I've always wondered though if mods hurt or help the value of something when they are done really well like this wand.
Hey Chris! Thanks a lot. As for the value, I really dont know. I guess it depends on the quality of the mod vs the rarety of the original object it self. In this case, I would presume that it increased the value since there are a lot of these toys on the market and I do believe the mod I made is a solid plus. On the other hand, a mod made on a rare limited edition would probably decrease the value...But again, its subjective. In the end, its worth more only if someone is willing to pay for it.
This was honestly so pleasing to watch, is there any way of maybe paying to have this done to one of mi e as well? I would die to have it as real as yours!
