- "Time After Time" is a 1983 song by Cyndi Lauper and Rob Hyman, who also provided backing vocals. It has proven to be an enduring love song.
This arrangement is by Daniel Estrem for baroque lute - Hudba

Good Evening Daniel,
Great cover of a lovely tune. Thank you for posting.
I notice that your right hand ring finger does not seem to get used much in this piece. Is this something to do with Lute playing in particular or your technique?
As I am so rubbish at playing I guess I just strum along with a pick, but finger picking is a craft I just have not got around to even attempting. Too much time doing too many other things I guess. I have the hands of a stout hearted Yeoman of olde England. Great for doing manual labour, digging the garden fixing cars and motorcycles etc but too arthritic now to bend into chord shapes. I leave that to masters like yourself.
You are sporting a sharp haircut too. The warmer weather must be on it's way!
Keep Safe and Keep Playing
Clive
thanks Clive!
yes, lute playing is mainly done with the thumb, index and middle fingers. Occasionally a four note chord will call for the ring finer to hit the high note
That's a good one! Adds more depth than a guitar. ⏳⌛
that's good to hear - thanks
🎶🎵🤔 🤗🤗🤗
Thanks!
timeless indeed. tho kinda wanna hear it without the tambourine...
er... that a couple maracas- usually they are almost inaudible depending on the speakers
@@danbluedeer haha, can't identify instruments. they were pretty loud on mine
