- "Why Don't We Do It in the Road" was recorded by the Beatles in 1968 - written and sung by Paul McCartney & credited to Lennon-McCartney. Paul wrote the song after seeing two monkeys copulating in the street while on retreat in Rishikesh, India, with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
(I Want You (She's so Heavy) is credited to Lennon/McCartney- from the 1969 album "Abbey Road." - Hudba

I enjoyed your wonderful performance, thanks for your sharing! Have a great weekend, dear my friend!
Thanks for listening!
"I Want You (She's So Heavy)" has such a unique sound to it and it's wonderful to hear it on a lute, especially with the thunderstorm sounds in place of the distortion! What a combo
Thanks so much- that's good to hear
Thank you Daniel. Thank you Daniel.

Thanks Chris!
I really enjoyed this!
Glad you did!
Good evening Daniel,
Well that is a turn up for the books! I would have never thought to have teamed this tune up with a Lute but that is a mark of your genius!
Sounds like the weather has set in too.
Not sure about any monkey business going on though!
A great cover of a great number so thanks for posting this.
It's my Birthday next Sunday so I am sure that both our lads will turn up with their families for a small celebration. Not a "special" number birthday (I will be 68) but I guess any birthday is special in many respects.
Keep Safe and Keep Playing
Clive
Thanks Clive!
Glad you like it...I was a bit unsure of using lutes with a bit of percussion to fill it out.
- at least it was fun to do and didn't take as long as a lot of projects.
Happy Birthday in advance - you're right about feeling gratitude as the birthdays increase.
It's better to be over the hill than under the hill.
where is the heavenly music?????
There haven't been any amazing releases for a long time!!!
I SUFFER !!!!
Sorry! I have a disorder in my right hand (Raynaud's disease) that affects the fingernails.
At this point I'm playing with no nails so I have to wait a few more months before recording.
I have been working on some new pieces for guitars and lutes. Thanks for noticing my absence-
There will be more before too long.

Coming back home from Jerusalem with the boys, when the prettiest gal of the village enters the tavern...
Thanks for listening
Fantastic performance! Would be possible for you to make a lute cover of the music "The Power" from the game Baldur's Gate 3?
Thanks! I'll take a look
How is your health and well-being???
I hope the situation with your divine nails is improving!!!!
I'm really looking forward to your new masterpieces!!!!
Take care of yourself !!!!
doing well, just another few weeks and I'll have enough nail to get a passable sound.
thanks for the comment
@@danbluedeer Take care of yourself and your beautiful fingers and gorgeous nails!!!💛💙
If i wanted to learn the lute where do you recommend one starts? It seems impossible to find a tutor!
if you don't have a lute and do have a guitar I would suggest learning the basics on guitar (with a small tuning adjustment)
