How to Trim Levolor Cellular Shade at Home, the Cutting Hack to save you time, Share & Subscribe

I bought some Levolor cellular room darkening shades at Lowe's that were cut to size. However after a small miscalculation, they needed to be trimmed about a half inch more. because I threw out the original boxes that they were cut in at the Lowe's store Lowe's wasn't interested in helping us anymore with any additional cuts. No worries we have common sense so I put one and two together and this is how I cut the blinds.

If you have to cut down the blinds by an inch do you need to take it off of each end or just one end?

1/2 inch from each side would be best

I tried this with my miter saw and it destroyed the shade and gummed up the blade axle.

i see you have chased down every video where people successfully cut these blinds in this way and post the same comment. you obviously have no idea what you are doing. i have seen this 3x from you now, so i will post this reply on every one.
