Jill, your cook books are my new Bibles! I am going to try everything now that I fully stocked my kitchen with your most used ingredients. So I just made the pumpkin soup and it’s almost done cooking, but I was going too fast and I accidentally put in an entire can of the coconut milk. I won’t do that again, but I hope it doesn’t change the taste too much. Also, I am in love with your gluten-free bread, and I just took the huge loaf of Sun Dried Tomato and Kalamata Olive bread out of the oven. The house smells heavenly and I can’t wait to try it! Have everything to make the Fesenjan dish tomorrow. Thank you for everything. I’m so glad I discovered your cooking show and your incredible recipes.
It’s better to add coconut milk at the end of cooking, this way it will be sweeter, fresher better tasting instead of having oily taste after 20 min. on the stove. It’s great with sautéed ginger-garlic paste, yellow curry powder and Garam masala, some tomato or sour apple.
This is exciting! I'm growing pumpkins this year!!!!!
If I don't have coconut milk I make up some cashew cream and add that which is also awesome!
Why not use your broth to swirl the remsining squash out of the container.
I would totally add garlic to it too in the blender and then add the coconut milk towards the ending and let it boil for another minute and mix it well and then close it.
Lovely! Simple and delicious!
Looks so good!! Thank you!
Thanks for another great recipe, and good luck on your KS campaign!
Very nice. Have you ever served the soup in the pumpkin shell?

That would be really pretty. I haven’t done that before 👍
Thank you for making these videos. I recently found your channel & have been binge-watching for days!!! Im getting Eat to Live asap & making this soup tonight... Im so ExCiTeD!😍 So HaPpy I found you ~ one question? Could you show a close- up of the finished food before you try it at the end, please? I’d love to see what its supposed to look like... color, texture, etc. Thanks so much & BLESS YOU & YOUR FAMILY❤️🙏🙏

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so happy you are taking care of your health by eating plant based!
We are working on giving better close up shots but are a bit limited on equipment at this point.
Thank you again
Can I just blend carrots, cabbage, raddish, some tomatoes, and lots of pumpkins and garlic and onion and just stew them with some water? I don't have baking oven or non-sticky pan and I always get diarrhoea when I take coconut milk (but not young coconut water😅)! I like the pumpkin cut into inch cubes and stir-fry with chopped coarsely garlic and salt to taste by the way. For my wisdom tooth removal survival meals😬
Looks like a great recipe! Can't wait to try it! Just to let you know, on your website, the recipe fails to tell viewers to put the onion in the blender after sauteing. Just wanted to let you know!

Thank you so much for letting me know 🤗
rubber or silicone spatula will be better to use😉
Hi, I noticed a lot of you recipes call for cashews. ( Not this one) My child is allergic to cashew and pistachio. What would you use to substitute for cashews? Peeled Almonds? Sunflower seeds? I really want to make your ranch but not sure what to use.
Peeled almonds would work the best and they are the most flavor neutral =)
A while pan of onion goes in then a bit of onion powder. May as well change this vid to Onion soup.
Hi jill can i use canned pumpkin instead?
Yuppers =)
