Chicken Patties

- 2 large boneless skinless chicken breast or 1lb. ground chicken
1 large egg
all- purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
alittle vegetable oil
I put my 2 chicken breast in a food processor, and pulsed till ground up like ground chicken.
Put the ground chicken in a medium size bowl, add egg, seasoning, and some all-purpose flour(enough to bind it).
In a large skillet cover the bottom of the skillet with vegetable oil and pre heat over medium heat.
Then form into 6 patties, and dip and kinda roll them into alittle more flour then pat and dust off the extra flour, and fry in ur skillet.
Fry on both sides until nicely browned and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
I have been confused it's been a couple years since I watched her show and I have always loved it. Then I lost touch moving heartaches different things and I didn't know what happened to it because there were all just old videos and now I found these and I'm so happy so I guess she still does them. Im so glad. She's such a hard worker and she really knows how to cook.❤

I was this many years old when I realized you could make chicken patties from scratch like this. I always thought that you used the chicken, like thighs or breast meat, how they came in the package. (I'm a cleaner, not much of a cook.) Doh! I've never made it from scratch, but I'm sure gonna try. I loved the idea of cutting up your chicken to smaller pieces in a food processor. Thanks Sara!!

I literally just made the same thing almost the same way except instead of flour I used shredded parmesan cheese to bind them and put them in air fryer. Sprayed the top with a little avocado spray to get crispy. ❤ your videos Sara

Have you tried "Tony's Cacheres Cajun Seasoning," its kind of the mix of seasonings you used. I use Tony's for everything, even on toast (sourdough) with a little olive oil in the oven or air fryer a few mins. 🎉

I find using flour as a binder the meat or patty’s are cakey and very stodgy I prefer to use breadcrumbs I’ve made myself with the end crust’s off multiple loaves and you can make the patties a lot lighter than with flour

I saw this recipe using 1/4 cup of mayonnaise, 1/4 cup of flower, 1/2cup Parmesan cheese, chopped up parsley, 2 eggs, paprika, salt and pepper. It still fried up golden brown but wasn’t mixed to be as thick with alot of flower… very similar…can’t wait to try it.

This looks really delicious. I love chicken. Any way it’s done. I wonder if I could use canned chicken for this if I needed it really fast? I know it wouldn’t be as good. But maybe I’ll give it a try for a fast lunch. Love you Sara❤
I have used canned chicken and it’s really good. I put it in the food processor but it’s not necessary. Play around for all sorts of ideas, shredded cheese, veggies or anything that sounds good. You can even purée veggies to sneak in. And I use olive oil or put in air fryer or oven

I grind up plain( Original) captain crunch cereal and coat my chicken in it and it is so good. Also i sometimes coat them in Frosted Flakes (grind them as well) that is good too. Try it you will be amazed at how good it is. 💝

I use Cornflake crumbs sometimes when i make porkchps. I have never tried Captain Crunch! Maybe i'll give that a whirl with some chicken soon! 👍

Top tip for your crust’s off the ends of a loaf 🍞 l don’t throw them away I collect a bunch of them and freeze them up then when I have enough I just snap them up into a food processor and put on high speed until you have coarse or fine bread crumbs pop them into a ziplock bag labeled and then you have breadcrumbs that are real breadcrumbs, if you buy breadcrumbs from the supermarket read the ingredients carefully and it’s not breadcrumbs but a bunch of different types of ingredients that aren’t just breadcrumbs, if you buy Kellogg’s breadcrumbs they’re just plain crumbs from the breakfast cereals that are swept up and they box them and labeled breadcrumbs 😮
