CRESCENT ROLL PIZZA VIDEO 1

- 2 cans of the big Crescent Rolls dough
pizza sauce
pizza toppings
shredded mozzarella cheese
pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning(optional)
cookie sheet
Preheat oven according to package directions on the back of the crescent roll.
Roll out the dough and pinch together any seams that might exist. Press the dough into the pan.
Spread with pizza sauce, sprinkle with some shredded mozzarella, the sprinkle with toppings of your choice, top with more cheese.
Sprinkle with pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning.
Baked for 13 to 15 minutes for a lightly golden crust or 17 to 20 minutes for a crispy crust.
Let cool on the pan for a couple of minutes before slicing and serving.
The toppings I used was ham, ground beef, black olives, sausage ,bell pepper, spinach, mushrooms, onion.

@Pink Beans I don't necessarily feel bad but it's just weird that nobody in her family has stepped up. I know you can't make anybody do anything, but I think she has a husband,like has he ever mentioned gastric bypass or a weight loss plan to her? I couldn't watch my loved one self destruct like this and do nothing.

LOL! Not laughing at you!! My mom used to do our pizza's this way. She made 'square pan' pizza way before Pizza Hut. Same with thick crust - she would make home made pizza dough. Us kids had a great time making up the toppings - sometimes we would top 1/2 one way and the other half another way. The rare left over pizza was fought over the next AM & you had to really get up early to get some. It was one of my requested meals when I came home on leave from the Navy!!
How many kids had to fight over the leftover pizza? We never had any left cuz I always overate every time we had pizza.

I love stuff like this as you said it helps clean out stuff from the fridge. Any extra cheese nubs you have around and such, along with everything else. Looks great; never thought about crescent dough as pizza dough
Even the tv show chefs have been using and sharing this short cut for 20 year's now. Not a lot of difference in the taste either.
Crescent roll or even biscuit dough is good for making pizza.
They make roll out pizza dough crescent does thin and thicker 🥰

Our Christmas Eve tradition is lasagna and salad on the table, while we finish up gifts to exchange that night, always pj's for everyone & then a toy or gadget that is interactive or fun for the one who received it. My children are grown now with kids of their own, and we all still get matching pj's and a gift while eating lasagna and salad. We make chocolate chip cookies for Santa while we drink hot cocoa and sing Christmas songs. When every one is done eating then we put on our Christmas hats, & get to open our pj's to see what designs or kind for the year, & there's always an ornament to hang on the tree with the pj gift. Then we get to play with whatever the next gift is. Christmas Eve is a real big deal at our home & has been since my children were young. Now it's even better with the grandkids coming and growing our family. Merry Christmas Sara & Jamie!,

The crescent roll brand makes a (thin) pizza dough and (thick) pizza dough now. I've tried the thin pizza dough and it's delicious! Makes pizza night a lot quicker.

I will try this soon. My Mom used to take a 9×13 pan and put two cresent rolls for a crust. Then she would brown ground beef and make sloppy Jo's. She would put that mixture on the crescent rolls then add mozzarella cheese to the top. It tastes better when you slice the cheese on top. You bake it for 11-13 min. So yummy. I can't wait to make pizza!!

Your pizza looks delicious Sarah. Thanks so much for sharing. I made one last night with what I had on hand and we loved it. I made a garlic and onion white sauce and topped it with spinach, chicken, and mushrooms and of course I had to add bacon onto one side for the hubby 😉 It was nice change things up and not have to wait on dough to rise, etc.
