OLD FASHIONED BOLOGNA SALAD

  • 2 lbs bologna, coarsely ground with a grater
cheddar cheese to equal about a little over 1 cup grated
    1⁄2 cup sweet pickle relish
    1/2 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 to 2 teaspoons or onion powder or 2 tablespoons of grated onion
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing(like miracle whip)
salt and pepper, to taste -optional
Use a grater or a old fashion hand grinder or use food processor to grate or grind your bologna, cheese, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix everything together in a big bowl.
I used Tupperware's master system base with grater shedder accessory,
but you can also use the fusion master mincer accessory attachment.
It is best to chill a hour before serving, we like to spread on bread and make sandwiches out of it, or serve it with crackers, or serve it on bed of lettuce and eat it at a salad.

@@TSmith-lw3fz you have a lot of issues as-well. You went under almost every comment in here and for what ? To judge someone else when you obviously need to consider and judge your own actions. See how you have no moral compass ? That’s why so many people need the love of Christ in their hearts. You’re letting the devil just tell you how to behave. Don’t you have any compassion for the feelings of other people ? Or is it selective, only for those who you lust after or have a respect of persons for ? How can you feel so angry and haughty watching a CZcams video…….. a whole CZcams video has you being keyboard warrior. No one’s looking at this woman like she’s crazy just for her cooking videos. All your comments are saying is that you are unhappy with yourself and it makes you feel better to point out the flaws of others. But In reality, when you point the finger at others, your just revealing your own nature and attitude of the heart. Imagine being rude to someone because you don’t like how they look or sound. Then today you're making bologna salad, a memory from over 70 years ago with my mom and daddy. We didn't have much so mom called it Ham salad, to sort of fancy it up a bit, but we kids knew it was bologna and didn't care a bit. All these comments say exactly what I want to say, you are so sweet and genuine, you're probably young enough to be one of my daughters, but you still remind me of my sweet gramma. I said that cause someone else down here didn't really vibe with him and just want to clear some things up if anyone was confused, I agree he didn't do any harm but some people may take his words differently

I think it might be a Midwestern thing??? We grew up on these kinds of salads, though we called them sandwiche spreads

Young lady you made me smile this morning in a way i havent in a long time. I remember my Nannas meat grinder and how it screwed on the table and how excited I would get when i saw it out because I knew I would get to help crank it and listen to her stories about when she was young and the things she got to help with. Thank you, God Bless

I recently found your channel while searching for a Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad - Bacon Ranch Salad, and let me tell you, that recipe is wonderful!
As someone who loves bologna, this recipe caught my attention. I've never had bologna salad, but I'm looking forward to trying this recipe out as well.
I know this is an older video, but I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your channel.
    Happy Holidays from Memphis, TN!!

Just had to respond...Back in the ‘50s on family va-ca, Dad wanted to keep driving, “makin time”. All Mom had left to feed us, was white bread, potato chips, and mayo. My sister and I loved it! We still talk about how good it was. Every now and then, I will have a half one for old times sake!

Plain chips on a bologna or turkey sandwich is the best! The only way I eat my sandwiches.

I've made this for years. I use a finer grinder, the old iron clamp down. I use Leona bologna, less salty, pickle relish, mayo with 2 tspns miracle whip and 3 hard boiled eggs, the whites only-no yolks. We called it bologna Sammy spread. Thanks for the vid.
