And yes, I heard your pleas, I will do more MILF Manor.
Mario and Antman also felt like they was written by AI 😂
I felt as though someone saw Knives Out and thought their characters should have kissed.
Agreed, they're better playing enemies than they are love interests, in my opinion.
See I woulda believed that if ScarJo wasn't attached to the project first
My exact thoughts. 😂
Can't wait to see Daniel Craig kiss Jamie Lee Curtis in some generic action movie!
@@AmandaTheJedi That was the vibe I got from the promotional material anyway. ScarJo was smart to get out of this lol
You know when a character in a movie is an actor, and they have to come up with fake movies that the actor character was in? This feels like one of those movies.
Obviously a Lucas Lee deep cut
@@KrustyFrank27 lol that's exactly what i was gonna say. looks like a parody they would make on scott pilgrim
True, it doesn't feel like an actual film, but more so an over the top, campy action movie that a character within a movie would work on.
Hey, that's not fair. _Tropic Thunder_'s fake trailers are the real deal!
haha
i'm just so confused why they didn't make it so they've been dating for a few months with her keeping him at arms length. it would have made most of his actions at the beginning of the film way less creepy if she's his slightly emotionally distant but still committed girlfriend.
Right?? That's what I thought it was going to be when I saw all the commercials.
That's would've been a bit new too. I can't recall another romcom where they're already together, mostly they all start with the meeting. So an established couple with a really clingy dude and a committed but emotionally distant gf that slowly goes into the spy route (explaining that emotional distance) would've been nice
@@donnamitsuki281 is not the plot of _The Spy Who Dumped Me_ that Mila Kunis dated a guy who was secretly a spy for two years or so, and became a target of international assassins after the boyfriend died in a mission?... I'm not sure, there's a lot of "normal person dates a spy" comedies and _Ghosted_ really feels like someone feed them all to a Botnik or another similar writting A.I.
That would've been so much better. Your premise kinda reminds me of Resident Evil 7, Ethan and Mia are a married couple and Ehan thinks Mia is a nanny for a super rich family but she actually works for a terrorist organization and she goes missing so he goes looking for her
Right, like most movies usually have them bond over at least some period of time before doing the whole ' she's the one ' thing, like this just makes him look needy and desperate.
I honestly think it was originally a fanfiction about Black Widow and Captain America, that’s why they wanted to have Scarlet in on it. And that’s why the writing is not… ideal.
Wow this would make so much sense 😆
I think you’re right
That would explain the cameos…
I now believe this to be 100% true
Is it????
The fact that scarjo was attached to this originally... is this just fanfiction with the serial numbers filed off? The idea of captain america farm boy x black widow spy au is so probable and this sounds so wattpad as a story
Oh my GOSH you're so right wtfff
so true
Damn
"You can be goofy in another movie!"
...Chris Evans as Goofy in a live-action adaptation of A Goofy Movie DO IT DISNEY YOU COWARDS
... I mean it could be fun.. but I morally can't support another Disney live action remake.. but it could be fun... but it's oh so very wrong... but it could be fun.. but oh God no.. but-

It’s so funny how Apple puts all of its products in its shows and movies, but specifically for this one, didn’t use “Airtag” probably because of the implications of being able to track a woman you just met.
That's what I was wondering the whole movie. 😂
Apple is definitely aware of the increasing use of AirTags to stalk people
What annoyed me the most was how the characters kept saying “Get a room!” to the couple when they argued. That’s not something you would say to an arguing couple. That should never be something anyone says.
I mean if you go back to the 1st argument, there is a comment about sexual tension. So with everyone saying go get a room it kind of makes sense. I guess it's a vibe that's not translated across the screen all to well. But regardless of that the film was aweful
Hard disagree, that's probably the nicest thing you can say to people f*cking in public
Honestly though? Any arguing couple should get a room to hash stuff out. The rest of the family does not need to hear them scream insults at each other.
But yeah. The whole "they are screaming obscenitys at each other so obviously they want to sleep with one another" is so stupid
Agreed, it felt forced after a while, and was meant to imply that they had sexual tension, since they weren't officially in a relationship at the time. It could have been executed better, in my opinion.
They had to keep saying stuff like how much chemistry they have, sexual tension, etc. because they didn't lol. Like both leads are very attractive and I get why they'd realistically be together, but they did not have true chemistry here imo so it felt forced when characters kept mentioning how "hot" they were for each other. But I get what you mean. If I'm arguing with you, it's not flirtatious love-hate banter. Let's not pretend it's cute.
you know Seb and Anthony were having fun on set probably teasing Chris every second they had
Probably asking him how many vacations he’s going on with the massive paycheck from this movie 😆
@@luckyDancer100 🤣🤣🤣
Was anyone else distracted by Ana De Armas' obvious wig? Maybe it's because I'm more used to seeing her with her natural dark locks. Why couldn't she have simply used her real hair?
Lmao she looks like m3gan
Because it feels like they told her they wanted a Scarlett Johansson type and she said I’ll wear a wig.
her wig in blonde looked 10x better and that movie is way worse
@@gingerdog8203 omggg 💀🤣
Lmao, she looks completely photoshopped in the poster 😂😂😂
Learning that ScarJo was supposed to be the female leads makes so many things click cause all this time I kept thinking they styled Ana de Armas like her and it felt weird
the number one sin of this movie is ana's wig. i will not forgive them for that. what was the point?!?!?!? they take it off in the last scenes for a time jump??? i literally said to my friend "so the wig has no relevance whatsoever and yet they subjected us to that for the ENTIRE FILM??????"
It is vary weird wig because it often looks like she is wearing a hoody for some reason.
im awful at noticing wigs, but thy didnt even try to play it off in this film. kind of hilarious
OMG SERIOUSLY I CAN'T FOCUS ON ANYTHING BUT HER ATROCIOUS WIG
The wig did it for me too. WHY? Why not reverse this then. Wearing a wig only in the final shot. Wouldn't that be easier?
The wig was the first thing I noticed and couldn’t not look at. A big distraction lol so I black out from most of the movie
Can't believe the director of "Rocketman" and "Eddie The Eagle" directed this movie. Somebody must've offered him a massive paycheck to direct this throwaway movie
yeah I cut out a huge section of this deep diving the creative team and just left it on light comments on who the writers were but, this whole thing feels like a weird contractual obligation. Like, make this movie and we;ll let you do something better. The story seems like it was pitched by two people, then the guys who wrote No Way Home made the finalized script. But, that's just my theory.
Well, you learn from failure
@@AmandaTheJedi Heres my theory: this was originally supposed to be with scarlett, and with anthony mackie, sebastian stan, and ryan reynolds showing up I'm just convinced this was some executives's teen daughters avengers AU fanfic they made into a movie for like her birthday or something. okay hear me out everyone who shows up as cameos are their marvel counterparts. John Cho is Bruce Banner, the Russell Brand dupe is Tony Stark, Adrian Brody is Zemo and that space needle scene at the end is giving the hellicarrier fight in winter soldier and them panning around the kennedy center makes sense cause the SHIELD HQ that got destroyed was on the Potomac (pretty much same place) also the rival spy she had to kill was Clint otherwise you know Jeremy Renner woulda shown up no problem
He also directed Bohemian Rhapsody after Bryan Singer was fired but didn't get a credit because of DGA rules. Hopefully he got a nice holiday house out of this paycheque.
what? Rocketman is one of my all-times favorite movies and Eddie the Eagle is a charming watch as well, but those are directed by the same person? really hard to believe.
Chris Evans is about 40. Arrested development on the level of this character is a problem at 25, a huge concern at 30, and just depressing when you're pushing 40. At least Steve Carell's character in The Forty-Year-Old Virgin was just awkward about sex but seemed to be a complete person otherwise.
If they'd cast younger it probably would have gone over better.
And you know it's bad when you look like Chris Evans and are still single
When the character development in Forty-Year Old virgin has more nuance...
@@bigbearkat2010 he isn’t single anymore
I watched this movie the other day and thought, "This movie is pretty ridiculous, but so many people are going to love it for the cast alone." Ana's wig was unforgivable
That’s why it’s such a good fun movie m, it’s ridiculous- but in a good way.
@@m.s.6586 Some of the most enjoyable movies are ridiculous. If someone likes something, I'm glad even if it isn't my taste. No judgement.
Apple's 'Red Notice' basically
@@bigbearkat2010 Pretty much. Both were weirdly bland. Especially since they had some good casting
Ana is my celeb crush so I watched it on the power of that, and even the wig didn't distract me from that small piece of enjoyment. Evans' character is so creepy and unselfaware that was what mainly kept me from being able to enjoy this at all.
"Sir, even Ted Mosby would call you a stalker!" Absolutely sent me 😂😂😂
I really think Evens needs to do some serious roles. He had a moment there with Knives Out and The Gray Man: both against type supporting roles; but, if he wants to be taken seriously post MCU he's gotta do what ScarJo and Sebastian Stan have done: take interesting, serious, non-action/ romcom roles. He didn't have the filmography of Mackie, Renner or Cumberbatch before the MCU. He doesn’t have the long-term reputation like Cheadle and Jackson; nor did he bank the *really* big bucks like RDJ. Evens is gonna end up in the same boat as Hemsworth: type cast for action if he doesn't manage his career better.
Hemsworth is in quite the pickle though now that you mention it. Every time I look at his filmography, he has depressingly few commercial hits outside of the MCU and I think he knows that and it was why he agreed to do another Thor movie
i’m just wondering how they somehow had more chemistry in the movie where their characters are enemies and one literally tried to kill the other than in this movie where they’re love interests
the only reason why ryan reynolds made a cameo in this movie with ana de armas is because it wasn't scarlett johansson and this is so hilarious to me lmao
what do you mean?
@@carolinepereira5256 scarlett johansson was supposed to play ana de arma's part, but had some scheduling conflicts and left the production. ryan reynolds and scarlett johansson were married, but apparently their breakup wasn't amicable and he actively avoids her in the marvel stuff.
This movie felt like someone copied The Spy Who Dumped Me but changed it up so they didn't get in trouble for plagiarizing. It just barely passes the sniff test but something's still a little nose twitching about it.
The Spy Who Dumped Me was a movie I put on on a whim one day and I ended up enjoying it way more than I expected. And I can definitely see some parallels.
Well, there hasn't been much new material over the past decade.
I LOVE that movie so that’s Exactly how I felt. It feels like they just spun a wheel on some scenes but the main bubble was the spy who dumped me.
I've never seen that or this film, but the trailer gave me this wannabe 90s flick that originally would have starred Ben Stiller or someonev like that.
Which is interesting because if you want to plagiarize or rip off a movie it should at least be a good one
When the hell did Tate Donovan become old enough to play Chris Evans dad? This stresses me out for some reason
I know! I'm afraid to actually do the math for Love Potion #9 and Hercules.
I just can't believe they didn't give these two amazing actors (who CAN have chemistry, it weirdly was there in Knives Out) anything FUN to do together and you know... Just have them both quickly get into doing spy stuff together and being all bantery while fighting bad guys. It worked so perfectly in No Time to Die so whyyyy not go that route and actually have FUN??
Sorry ana can't act
Sounds a little like Mr & Mrs Smith ✌️
They had more chemistry in the press junkets than in this movie.
"March my way to the pharmacy and take out a loan to get a new one, or however it works in America", oh my god this was a 'I need to pause the video to really appreciate that burn' moment. That was solid, holy shit.
I ain't afraid of no Ghosted.
oh sweet, the movie i kept seeing on every subway billboard on my trip to new york and couldnt be bothered checking out! thanks for doing the work for me amanda 👍🏼
Maybe Scarlett Johansson would have been a better choice for the female lead, but then again, some viewers might have been put off by seeing Captain America and Black Widow play love interests, which they've only played once before in their multiple projects, in "The Nanny Diaries."
From what I have heard most people wanted that to happen so I'm not sure about that
I mean Blackwidow did kiss Captain America in CATWS.
I've always been a CaptainWidow shipper to seeing ScarJo in this with Chris would have been amazing.
Plus Scarlett is amazing actress and ana.... she's yeah pretty i guess
I don't think so, never shipped BW with CA, but Evans and ScarJo has such great chemistry and they are good friends too 🙌
Red Notice felt like it was made in a blender with a bunch of movies that happened to make a lot of money, this one feels the same, honestly
According to IMDb there are SIXTEEN producers on this movie with Ana de Armas as an Executive Producer, and Chris Evans as a just plain (doesn't actually say a just plain) producer. So mystery solved as to why Chris and Ana decided to make this movie. Plot twist, there is still one more mystery, why are there SIXTEEN producers on this movie? Seriously, why?
Money. Actors and writers get paid upfront for a steamer movie, but if they are listed as a producer they can get residuals.
In this case Ana producer credit is purely for extra money and credit. Meanwhile Chris was the one actually producing the movie.
In this case Chris “just plain” producer title actually outranks Ana “executive producer” title.
I will say they definitely got me on this one cause I love Ana and then seeing Chris as a silly, goofy little guy was just icing on the cake
those are pieces that work, also love Chris as a goofy lil guy, but they just aren't used effectively enough to root for this
I started cracking up as soon as the revealed Sebastian, like did they just all sign a shifty contract or was Chris recommending them for parts?
The current theory is that this movie started as Steve/Natasha fanfiction and that's the reason for the cameos
Anna de Amas and overly attached boyfriend he put a tracker in her bag for gods sake. Even she couldnt save this stinker.
Help me find the chemistry people say they have…
Yes I don’t see it nor feel it
I love Chris Evans & Ana de Armas, but after watching this I felt like this movie was something that would come out in the 2000s. Thats the best I could explain it. But, AI makes a lot of sense 😂
It just feels like a movie two less established actors would be in, it looks perfectly OK but they could've gotten anyone to play the leads, why Evans and AdA felt like this was worth their time, I'm not sure.
If you asked chat GPT to come up with a script that was a gender reversed True Lies and didn't get someone of James Cameron's talent, and gave it no budget at all but got two really strong leads in it you'd be left with Ghosted.
I’m so glad you made this so I don’t have to get Apple TV+ to see it. It’s one of those “interested enough to hear about it, but not pay to watch it” things.
Coda was the only thing interesting enough for me to watch Apple TV
@@wildwesley9328 i highly recommend Ted Lasso and Severance.
I think you should disregard her review and actually give it a shot.
It’s a fun popcorn movie, so just don’t expect some indie masterpiece and you might just be entertained.
@@m.s.6586 I’m not going to disregard a review when I’d have to pay to watch the movie. If I’m not sold on the trailers, I’m not going to go out of my way to see it, dumb fun or not. I like dumb fun every now and then, but it has to be from something I already have access to (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc) or really want to see (in theaters). I don’t have Apple TV+, so I see from reviews how that service’s stuff goes down.
@@Zenlore6499 have you ever heard about travelling on the high seas? arrh matey
I would've loved to see Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson as romantic interests in a rom com. I'm still not over their chemistry in The Winter Soldier and how f-ing Joss decided Black Widow should end up with the Hulk. There were also talks about another movie Project Artemis to star these two together but Chris dropped out reportedly.....like dude I just wanna see these two attractive people end up together in a movie together is it too much to ask!??
I thought they already had been.
They play a couple in the Nanny diaries
I'm still mad the Little Shop of Horrors remake fell through.
That first big extended action sequence from the cave to the bus chase was where I understood this movie was more of a comedy than I thought it was. Seeing her shoot like hundreds of bullets without reloading and the big guns of the enemies do almost no damage to this ancient bus really just brought me out of it
I was excited for Ghosted, because I liked Ana and Chris in Knives Out (and I'm a Marvel fan), but.... just from listening to you talking about the plot, it sounds like a really exhausting movie.
When I first saw the trailer for this, I thought they had finally made the movie that Joey went to Vegas on friends to film.
I read "Movie Feels Like it was Made by AI" and I immediately thought this was directed by the Russo Brothers
History will probably remember it as the same film as "The Gray Man", and thus directed by the Russo brothers.
Ouch
The Amazon series Citadel has the same kind of vibe, and they executive produced that, but didn’t create it.
Wait so there aren't even any actual ghosts in it? So this is NOT the Ghost 2: Ghost Harder I've been waiting for.
Ghosted 2 Electric Boogaloo
Gho2t
I am glad someone mentioned the wig
Ah yes, the prime mystery of this universe: how two people this hot lack any type of actual chemistry?
But yeah, I did like Chris Evans as a giant himbo.
The fact that they managed to take Chris freaking Evans, a man with so much goofy charm and charisma he made the very douchy, kinda creepy, Colin Shea from Whats Your Number look like a sweet, himbo, teddy bear and turned him into such a clingy weirdo in this that my skin crawled, is almost impressive.
However i also feel like it should be illegal.
I honestly had no idea who Ana de Armas is, so I went to her imdb page and realized that it's because she's been in a lot of popular movies, none of which I have seen.
you should watch Knives Out!
I don't really like her for her involvement in Blonde. Super weird and insulting movie, if I saw that script no money or fame could get me to play such a horrible mockery of Marilyn. And some of her comments about like feeling Marilyn's ghost and being in Marilyn's house were just weird.
One of the only parts of Ghosted I thought was engrossing/semi-enjoyable was the climactic centrifugal fight scene at the end, where the top floor of a building starts revolving super fast and bad guys are crushed to death or hurled out the window. Then the fight ends, the bad guys are defeated, and they show a shot of the city skyline… and the building isn’t spinning anywhere CLOSE to fast enough for Chris and Ana to still be pressed up against the walls
When I saw the trailer, it was almost as if it was made for AU gifs.
It wouldn't surprise me if this movie was based off of someone's Black Widow x Captian America fanfic considering ScarJo was supposed to be the lead
When I heard this was a romantic comedy about a man and a spy, and that it was originally supposed to be starring who would be most recognizable as Captain America and Black Widow, I naturally assumed like many probably did that it was originally supposed to be some AU fanfiction, like 50 Shades but without any of the shades.
But the title Ghosted made me think that maybe this was a tongue in cheek reference to the 'Cap' character being a World War II era ghost, and a modern globetrotting spy being smitten with him over the time it takes her to get useful information from him, after the fun scenes of her realizing ghosts are real, of course.
I was extremely disappointed this was what we got instead.
New Mexico and Wyoming have had camels in them before. Wyoming apparently had so many that they had a law on the books that said that you couldn't hitch your camel to the same posts as someone's horse because camels spit (a lot). Sorry, Amanda, but there could've been camels in New Mexico though more and more movies are putting digital animals in like the horses in "Nope".
I wouldn’t be surprised if this movie was written by AI as a test to see how well it would do.
Damn this concept would’ve been so funny. It’s genuinely a good premise just missed the mark by a country mile. And not having ScarJo is such a huge nail in the coffin. She and Chris have such good chemistry, it’s truly unfortunate.
I actually saw this one for once. It was good/okay. I enjoyed the bounty hunter scene and Ryan Reynolds the most and the two main actors had enough chemistry to work. I just didn’t like that I had different expectations of what was going to happen based on the title. Like *48 hours hardly counts as being ghosted and it was one date.
It was dumb fluffy fun, and *that's ok*. But here's my issue - there were so many Guns of Chekov™ that they brought up and dropped that could have been awesome callbacks.
• His various trackers - they found her, but what if he still had one on *him* and that's how people kept finding him, leading to hijinks as they don't realize that's how it's happening
• His inhaler - they're running and jumping around so much, why were his lungs suddenly ok?
• Her killing her fellow agent for being a turncoat and Bad Guy being a turncoat as well - why did Brody not try to convince her to come to his side? It might have worked, we might have been fooled it would work, etc etc
What could have been. -_-
@@Zaftique apple is horrible with all the product placement in their shows. with the advent of M1 I've asked myself who is still buying all the leftover 27" imacs? The answer is they are largely all on the Ted Lasso set. So when Captain America used tiles instead of airtags it took me a second to figure it out, an airtag chimes when it's following someone and if there's an airtag following you that isn't yours it pings your iphone. That's been something apple's been adamant about the airtag, no you can't use it to do the creepy shit that our leading man is doing in our newest streaming POS feature length film. But regardless it's stupid that a James Bond level superspy would be foiled by a tile.
The use of chekov's gun felt so ubiquitous that it was like it was a script writing assignment and the prof asked them to include a certain number of examples of chekov's gun. There were so many that even the Jedi lady missed one. Why can creepy Captain America fight all the evil spies, well his dad said I think three times (just so you don't miss it) to tell his pretty Cuban girlfriend that he was on the highschool wrestling team. That's why he was doing hip tosses and suplexes. Chekov's gun baby.
It's just a creepy story from the get go. That's a 40 year old man and he's still so needy that he starts to stalk someone he's known for a day or two. That's clearly some serial killer vibes right there.
This movie reminded me of trying cat food, almost aggressively bland. It did make me think about some of my own past behaviour but I think that was as emotional as I got during it. Glad I didn't pay to see and needed a break halfway through.
Two things that distracted me in this movie:
1. Ana de Armas is obviously wearing a wig
2. Chris Evans is obviously wearing a wig
Had to look up what "Le Veque" meant since Amanda seemed so stressed by it: "the bishop" OR if you use the spelling that the auto-generated closed-captions gives you "Levesque"; it translates to "the sink" which is way funnier. Take your pick.
As someone with ADHD and asthma, I'd love to put a tracker on my inhaler
I love that she used jumper cables to tie him up in the trunk. Don't know how well they'll hold...but crafty
“You know that power you felt. That’s from the land.”
I really think this movie would have been great with Scarlett Johansson considering the organic chemistry between her and Evans (being longtime friends), i think she would have delivered Ana’s lines sooo much better.
Ana is so non-threatening and it makes believing her in action roles _terribly_ hard.
Ana cannot act. She's so overrated
@penny yuppp, I was saying this the entire time I was watching the trailer, Ana is great in many roles but an action hero she is not.
It’s Hollywood. Scarlett is too old.
@Mudoh415 .....dude Ana is only 3 years younger than scarjo...so that logic is out of the window. Might I add being in ur 30s is NOT old.
If you want spy comedy with a side of relationship shenanigans, just watch True Lies, you'll have a much better time! 😄
My head canon, is that it’s about Ana De Armos’ character from James Bond life outside that movie 🙃
This is “we have Mr. Right starring Anna Kendrick at home”
They had the cast and then they just taped the rest together to somewhat resemble a movie because apparently audiences do not give a shit as long as there's pretty faces to look at!
Rye Lane was wonderful. I smiled the whole way through, genuinely one of my favorite new movies I’ve seen in a while.
I love how you do your sponsoring deals. Fast, smooth and to the point.

Anyone ever watch that TV Show Chuck? Its like that but without the twists that make it interesting.
Thank god I must live under a rock because I have never heard of this film, but I'm always down for Amanda commentary
Every time I was watching it I just kept thinking The Tourist did this better, Knight & Day did it better, Get Smart did it better.
So with the writer's strike, we cinephiles have to be subjected to scripts taken from Wattpad... awesome, as if the cringe Netflix romance flicks weren't bad enough!
Didn't really care much for what was going on in the movie, I just enjoyed how goddamn beautiful Chris looks in it and Anthony's and Seb's little cameos lol.
This movie was a frustrating slog. Everyone in it phoned it in - Not just the actors, director, and writers, but the cinematography, costumes, set designs, etc., were made in the same effort, which were zero.
It feels like a forgotten '80s comedy flick that's just on the right spot of not being awful enough to be remembered.
Apparently Anthony Mackie and Sebastion Stam jumped on board with this because Evans shot them both a text, haha
That seriously sounds about right for these guys.
They just wanted an excuse to hangout for a few days and get paid for it 🤣
At one point, it felt like the director forgot what the plot was of the movie....
Like losing a train of thought
Hearing about this movie made me want to re-watch Chuck.
Yes, a far superior show.
By the way, what's your take on the theory that they were never actually together on set?
I saw some pics of them together on set so I don't think it's a legit theory but they are often very lazily put against recreated location backgrounds so I can see why the rumor started
@@AmandaTheJedi I can confirm they were on set together (at least for the DC locations)!

Movie 43 shouldn't exist. Period.
That movie was the weirdest thing I've ever seen. To this day idk how they managed to rope that many good actors into being in it, lol
@@gman7497 By blackmailing them?
@Sibylla H. lol yeah probably, I still low key enjoy it for how audacious and strange it is.
Biggest problem with the movie is the painfully poor chemistry between Chris Evans and Ana de Armas, not to mention it's based on some whack job flying halfway around the world because somebody refuses to text him back.
I truly wanted to like this movie because of so many reasons:
• I love Chris Evans & Ana de Armas, they’re incredible actors and have great chemistry together (especially for being their 3rd movie together)
• Dexter Fletcher is an amazing director. He made that beautiful Elton John biopic Rocketman and the very enjoyable Eddie the Eagle and, judging by the trailer, it looked like a very stylish flick
• It had an interesting & funny premise that i thought perfectly balances spy action and comedy
Instead, we have one of the biggest disappointments of this year:
The chemistry between the leads is still there and the acting is good. But everything else felt like it was on autopilot and the direction felt subpar. It’s just spy cliche after spy cliche.
Such a shame that they wasted so many talented actors and a great director here. They deserve better than this.
Final Rating for Ghosted (2023): 4,5 out of 10
This movie sounds like True Lies without the comedy or North by Northwest without the suspense.
Thank you for your videos. It actually helps alot with writing a script and what not to do.
Apparently the 'Mouse' hasn't really been letting actors even know what scenes they film for. I.e. Anthony Macky had no idea he filmed a scene for ant-man. There's a lot of shitty things about that but it's possible Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, and Scarlett Johanson wanted to work together outside of marvel abd have more fun. Or the studio has something on all of them
I feel like maybe all these actors signed contracts with Apple years ago and they were about to expire so Apple just gave them their best script
What information or dirt does someone at Apple have on the cast of Captain American Civil War? Minus scar jo I guess, seems like she settled & didnt have to do it but oh my gosh I'm so glad you've uncovered this.😂😂😂
Who ya gonna call?
Amanda Cullen, obviously.
Hey, Amanda. Would love to see a video of your thoughts on the writers' strike.
Literally the first time I've ever heard of this movie. Looking forward to this review
Super stoked for the Rye Lane shoutout! More ppl need to see it 😊
The plot really reminds me of Olivia Joules by Helen Fielding (author of Bridget Jones) which would make a much more fun movie
I love everything Amanda says 'They fuuu!"😂
8:41 is when Amanda sold me on this movie. You have become the very thing you have sworn to destroy!
I agree with you about 'Rye Lane'. I am not a rom-com fan but I loved that film 😊
