See how to replace the drive belt on a Polaris RZR 900S in this video from Partzilla.com. When we opened the clutch cover on this machine, we found signs of water inside, and we also found a worn and damaged outer seal on the clutch cover. So first, we’ll show you how to remove the drive belt on your RZR. Then we’ll remove the driven clutch so that we can clean it and we’ll also clean the drive clutch while it’s still bolted on the machine. Then we’ll replace the driven clutch and install a new belt, and we’ll finish off by replacing the outer clutch cover seal on the RZR.

Thank you for the tutorial. I recently purchased my 1st used 2015 RZR 900. I got stuck in a creek bed under water and the belt smoked while I goosed it as I was winching out. At least I know how to inspect and replace the belt now, thanks to this tutorial.
Thanks for the demo. I'll order a spare belt and seal today.
Love your 90 in the back ground.
Great clear and understandable tutorial. Thanks.
Great video by the way, at least I know how to repair mine out in the field
This is a great video. I was able to replace the belt and torqued it to 55 ft/lbs but I am getting a little whistle noise when I accelerate. Any ideas what might be causing this?
Just got a s 900 with 5,000 miles what are you seeing worn/needing replaced. Seems solid just replaced front cv boot seem like the right rear is cambered in about 3% no degree button.
Runs great 👍 just noticed clanking in the rear loading and tight pavement turns thanks in advance. Assuming it is a locker and that's normal?
What is the torque on the clutch bolt?
Does it matter which way the thrust washer goes on the main bolt for the clutch ?? It has a flat side and a coned side .
What’s the torx speck on the bolt getting ready to do mine
I have my belt not disengaging on mine at the moment would this be an issue with my primary? I just changed that belt 400 miles ago it was fine till I let the machine idle for a bit one night and it will not disengage I have to shit the machine off to shift. Also to not it will not go nay faster than 50mph now either almost like it's maxed out on speed. My secondary is much different on my 15 guessing that's because it has ebs
Is there tensioning of the belt? Does it just keep proper tension automatically? Thank you
Was there a thin washer that went in between the shives??
Does that bolt require blue loctite? Mine appears to have had some from the factory
I wonder how many mechanics really do this thorough of a job?

my belt blew on my 2017 rzr s. how to i remove the primary clutch to inspect it?
It's on the to do list. It's almost identical to the Ranger procedure. czcams.com/video/Yr6tvS-XEw0/video.html&index=6
How many lbs of torque on the 15mm nut ?
55ftlbs
Is there a way to do the belt change without the impact driver. This is not a tool I would typically carry when riding. Also you failed to show this as a fool required for the job at the beginning of the video.
It's not required, it just makes life a lot easier.
