    I watched this video 3 or 4 times before deciding to buy the belt and do this myself. After watching the video, I bought the Hunterworks belt and clutch puller and it was as easy as described! I even used the dreaded impact method!! This video was the reason Hunterowrks got my business. Thanks again.

Had to laugh at your "dumb ass" comment and attitude... spot on: only way to handle the ugly side of comment boards IS to chuckle. I just "inherited" my brother's RZR 900S since he owed me some money, and because he's upgrading to a 4-seater for his kids (says he's gonna miss the 900S). Anyway, I don't have a lot of mechanic experience but am excited to learn these basics. Appreciate your efforts to share your knowledge. I'll be picking up a Hunterworks belt. Thank you for the video for it was easy to follow. I do have one strong suggestion though and that is maybe add a highlight to the video where you are reinstalling the six bolts on the clutch cover to make sure you line up the X on the cover to the X on the stationary sheaves. I did this thinking I would have to pull the primary clutch cover off again but by shear luck I lined up the X correctly. Just suggestion and other than great videos for Im getting educated fast on the services on my RZR.

  • @3ToeCustoms
    @3ToeCustoms Před 3 lety

    I leave the secondary unbolted, and put the belt on with the secondary open to save from twisting the belt back on. Same way you took the belt off by unbolting the secondary works for putting it back on with ease.

    • @Hunterworks
      @Hunterworks  Před 3 lety

      Maybe for you but if done wrong, the belt sits low in the secondary, when you tighten it, it tightens against the belt, then when you drive it, the belt moves up and the secondary is loose. If done correctly it can be done and you seem to know that method, but not one we would show anyone, too much liability for us using that method

      @@Hunterworks Thank you for the fast reply. I really appreciated this video. I'm old and try to pack emergency tools in my cargo box - including an impact gun for flat tires on my trailer or Rzr. In this video you show removing and re-installing the secondary, but not with the belt in it, Is that possible? If you have a video on this, please send me the link or the title so I can search for it. If you have no video on this, I guess I'll learn when I finally have to replace a belt. Bill -

      @@HunterworksI have a primary puller ordered. The same my dealer sells and I have the two sockets and a factory clutch pry bar already in my Rzr. I'm too old and weak to risk getting stranded in the middle of no where. Thank you again for your video and taking the time to give me feed back. Bill -

    When I'm spraying off my my rzr 570, why is so much water getting inside the clutch housing?

      @Hunterworks  Před 4 lety

      I don't know that one, going in the intake or exhaust for the clutch would be my guess

      Might be best for you to watch our alignment tool video that will explain it. The short of it, 6 bolts holds engine and tranny together, they loosen or break etc

    What makes your belt better than others?

    • @Hunterworks
      @Hunterworks  Před 3 lety

      Mostly our custom dimensions to accomplish a particular goal. No one else has a belt dimensioned like ours. Then simply the material and how they are put together. We can back it up too, over 30,000 sold and failure rate at less than 1%
