Found your site on you tube and watching your videos I see your belts are slightly thicker then the stock belts . I got 2700 miles out of the stock belt but it’s been jumping a lot lately. Hopefully your belt stops that . Just ordered one and look forward to that jumping stopping .
Good video. Gonna have to keep this in mind for the future. Just had my cover off thusorning to blow outbany accumulated dust after a real dirty ride last weekend. (It was surprisingly clean). Frankly it looks like taking the dang cover off is more cunbersome than changing the belt. But yeah, cool.
Access..... If the wheel is off, you can get to those bottom bolts better I'm betting. But I was pleased anyway..... Incredibly dusty trail day, and VERY LITTLE dust in the belt area. Intake filter, another story!!!
I leave the secondary unbolted, and put the belt on with the secondary open to save from twisting the belt back on. Same way you took the belt off by unbolting the secondary works for putting it back on with ease.
Maybe for you but if done wrong, the belt sits low in the secondary, when you tighten it, it tightens against the belt, then when you drive it, the belt moves up and the secondary is loose. If done correctly it can be done and you seem to know that method, but not one we would show anyone, too much liability for us using that method
When using the special tool on the secondary clutch is the shaft tapered allowing the belt tension to loosen or how does it work thank you great straight up video tks
How much do you charge to change the belt and go from square pucks to the round ones..also is it better to put a clutch kit in one and does it help the low end a lil better or not...

Hey Todd, I had my shifter cable changed and my belt changed about a month ago at the dealership. Every since I got my 2014 Polaris Ranger 900 Crew back, If I hit brakes going forward or reverse, the majority of the times, the engine dies. It almost seems as if the clutch is not releasing the belt or something. Any ideas what could have happened? I took it back to the dealer today, but I just need an insight before they call me telling me I need more parts or service. Let me know. Thanks.
Why can't I get my new belt on my polaris 900xp? The circular hub on the right just won't let me get the belt completely over it. It seems like it's too small of a belt but the shop that sold it to me said it is the exact belt needed for all these. Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Hi Todd, could you install the new belt by removing the secondary like you showed us and just putting the new belt around the primary 1st and then around the secondary and push the secondary into place and securing the bolt? Kinda like you did with the primary last on the video. Thanks
That's pretty much how I do it. You just have to have the secondary in your hands, put the belt around the secondary, then slip it over your primary, and then put your secondary back onto the machine. Super easy, and no belt twisting.
