It's hard to attack when you have slugs lying all over you. Sub-par teams can only compete when they are allowed to slow down the game. It is like playing in the mud, nullifying a team's speed.

End of the day none of the on field match officials picked up something so simple. Shows you they aren’t kept to a good standard and need to be retrained.
Ricky wasn't going to mention it until Des whinged. The Titans knew they couldn't handle the Raiders' pace, so they decided to impersonate cheap strippers and lie all over them. Annesley makes it clear the Titans were doing the wrong thing. The ref should have binned a Titan player early in the game.

You don't want the bunker involves in game than said why the bunker didn't get involves in that one play that may or may not cost the titan the win. the modern game is too confused by rules for the refs to call every infringement. we wouldn't even have a game if the refs blew every penalty. I'd love for a simpler NRL where the refs don't need to "manage" the game, but there are too many officials, rules, HIA and injury concerns etc.

Bunker is there for the howlers. Offside for a golden point chargedown is a howler. There was a stop in play straight after. Penalty 100%.
the ruck is the problem, players walking forward etc.
the answer to scrapy problem areas is to slow the ruck down, make players play the ball properly, using the foot to roll the ball back. It will give players and refs the time to get on side, the ruck has to be tidied up.
