Sheeran by Lowden W01Demo from Peghead Nation

I have a Sheeran W02, spruce and rosewood, and really like it. I was lucky a store near me had one in stock so I was able to try it out. I had a Lowden for many years but due to shoulder issues I needed a smaller bodied instrument and this did the trick. Mine has a deep clear bass and sweet top end, not tinny at all. It also has a factory LR Baggs under addle pickup which sounds really nice through a PA our acoustic amp.

I was very excited about the concept of these - I like the size and shape. I like Lowden and own a high end one. Didn’t mind the Sheehan on the headstock but would have preferred it not to be the brand name. But they all sound awful - every clip I’ve seen so far they sound worse than a G-series Takamine. Really bad. Like really really bad.

Its maybe 5th or even less of the price of a regular lowden but....you can buy a used taamine tan/an or furch/stonebridge ....or even a ll yamaha which will sound much better than this marketing bs. So....just buy a Goodall :)

Yeah, it's a very tiny guitar (Wee Lowden), however I think that's what Ed likes. There is also a "Small Lowden" which is a little bigger and sounds fuller

AFFORDABLE? Like really? $200 is about what their worth. It sounds just like my very first guitar that was made of plastic, and from what I remember it had Mickey Mouse on the top. I love when reviewers mention back and sides. I believe you said, "beautiful walnut back and sides." Just to clarify, its LAMINATE! A 1000 dollar laminate back and sides guitar

"Entry level" guitars... under $1000. Actually, I expect a $1000 guitar to sound pretty great and I didn't get that vibe with this Sheeran.
