Suda did actually make it official recently that he now has the rights to Flower, Sun and Rain, The Silver Case, Killer is Dead and Shadows of the Damned. All he needs now is Killer 7, Lollipop Chainsaw and No More Heroes for his Sudaverse to truly come into fruition.

The first two weren't that bad. No More Heroes 3 was just really bullshit for 100% completion. It practically was designed to be extremely unachievable and unfun to do. But as long as you avoid death chips and challenges that don't actually net you rewards.. I mean it's still hard, but it's a blast!! Completing bosses on death is really rewarding!
This game was a joy to play. One of the best in the series and great send off to one of the most legendary video game characters ever. Thank you Suda-san.

I loved this game (especially that climax) and I only finished 1 and 2 on Switch a few months before 3 came out but became hooked as a fan. Just recently added Travis Strikes Again to my collection.
Jirard, your ability/drive to complete games is amazing even 10 years later. Never stop rocking, man! Also, you gotta complete Shadows of the Damned. We need the ridiculous sentient bone gun in our lives.
I think this review is absolutely spot on. You clearly have a love for Suda's ideas which I share but don't let him off the hook for the often shoddy execution. I think what he needs is a decent budget and a skilled partner to co-direct the games and keep him focused. In particular, I think the combat in his beat'em up games could use more time in the oven. The underrated Killer Is Dead comes closest to what I would hope for. (LET IT DIE is pretty good, too.)
While this particular game may be an example of the creator taking a dig at completionists, the level of detail Jirard goes to in order to complete the game to satisfaction should get him into some sort of consultation position with game creators all over. They can make the game they want, but they could go a long way in a good direction with expertise like JK’s or other obsessive completionists on tap being able to say “This kind of thing works, but this doesn’t.” Jirard has ascended to the level of professional rollercoaster rider, so let’s ask his opinion before as well as after.
yeah he had fair criticisms all around. Of course it helps knowing this game was rushed and had to cut a lot. that's why so much was brought up and immediately eliminated, why half the world is gone (supposedly hardware limits.. what? on the switch? when even the WiiU can render a whole big-ass hyrule?), and why we actually had fewer boss fights than the previous games

Would love to see more on Shadows of the Damned. It's one of my personal favorites from the 360 and anything from a sequel to a reimagining/take on the original pitch would be wonderful. Knowing he possibly got the rights back is great news! Just hope it won't be a switch exclusive

technically the designs aren't his doing, but it is great they got the original main designer back for the regular characters, then used a master of 'pop art' for the aliens giving them a totally alien flavor, and THEN had the Poptepipic people animate the insane Velvet Chair Girl cutscene.. and so on
I've been looking forward to this episode for a long while. No More Heroes 3 is my game of the year, and I know how much you love Suda51 games. This should be a great watch.
The No More Heroes videos are some of my favorites. Seeing the banter between Suda51 and Jirard is awesome and I can't wait to see the next game by Suda51 that Jirard has to complete.
If it truly is a goodbye to Travis, then I am happy with the end of his tale. It's definitely got some issues as Jirard highlights, but I still love the Garden of Madness.
Yeah this is how you complete a trilogy with four games that took 14 years. This is how you do it, man. Everything I wanted, I got, and everything else I got was a complete surprise. No lingering regrets, nothing unfinished, just the perfect sendoff.
Never in my life did I think Ultraman would be mentioned in a Completionist video...I'm here for it and feel once again I've made a great choice in this community. Also glad to see RNJesus finally smiled on Jirard so he could finish completing this game.
Selfawarness doesn't negate game flaws. If you point at your weak side it' just makes it easier to notice at best. I am saying it as NMH fan. You can be as cheeky as you want, but best self awarness is ability to realize and ignore usual conventions, not to bow before them after pointing out.

The incredible work put into this video let alone completing No More Heroes, is insane and deserves more praise than I think any of us are capable are giving. Just finished this one today, which I wanted to do before watching your video for the sake of spoilers and whatnot. I’m a big fan of this series and I agree with pretty much everything you’ve said about this game! The whole series is full of moments that are weird, or even bad, but when it hits those highs there’s no other games like it!

I bought this game at launch but made sure I finished the previous 3 games before I even touched it. I finished it yesterday and it was so so worth it to play the others first.

Loved this game. I always took it as an MCU type project, which I suppose explains the non-existent narrative entry point for beginners. You're rewarded for keeping up with the NMH universe prior to 3 and you're also teased with a lotta unrelated enigmas that will (hopefully) get explained in future Grasshopper titles.
Basic Maruchan Ramen Noodle Soup Chicken Flavor, nearly boiling all the water away with only just enough left over to mix in the Flavor packet. Perfect Ramen. I also sometimes add some Scrambled eggs. Also nice video, I haven’t played a lot of Suda games (Let It Die and the first No More Heroes are all I’ve played) but I love the aesthetic and badass attitude. Seeing you complete them is like seeing someone take the time to do what I always wish I had the time to do. Also really awesome how these game creators go about challenging you.

Picked a switch for NMH3 mostly and finished two weeks ago on bitter diff in about 20 hours? It has it's problems in the open world and exploration and from Suda's standpoint I know why it's like this but as a gamer who is NMH hungry, yes it lacked. I loved the battles and the scenario characters even more. The night before i started NMH3 i finished TSA on PS4 so everything were fresh to me. I don't know if it's the end of Travis's journey as he can continue for a game at least but i wanna say a big THANK YOU to grasshoper and suda's mind for making this game a reality. it is indeed the best one in the series. i fucking loved these battles. I fucking died when the rythm game started and i shitted my pants from happiness when he switched in 1st person view in that school. For a fan it was a dream come true this game. Thank you. Great video and song Jirard. You deserve way more for the content you give us

My favourite ramen flavour is kinda one that I just make from instant ramen with a few twists. I don't use the included seasoning package but instead put some concentrated chicken stock, chinese five spice, soy sauce, tamari, garlic, ginger, msg, chili flakes, garam masala, a little bit of sesame oil, and then maybe some diced chicken if I have any in the freeze in there. After that, I poach an egg in there with the noodles, then I add whatever extras I may want, which is usually some diced green onions and shredded cabbage It sounds more complicated than it is, honestly. I just toss the first bits in all at the start, add the noodles, then add the egg, then garnish. Absolutely fantastic stuff
Night in Prauge is a sad vibe, thanks to Suda and his team at Grasshopper Manufacture for this series, and I can't wait to see what they got cooking next.
The regular version yeah. But the version that works on the bike, not so much. and hoo it is difficult searching every cranny of the overworlds on foot. My final scorpion was wayy up in the northern corner of Santa Destroy next to diddly squat, and unless you think to go around the big building there, it'll never set off your chip.
@@isaacsussman5632 yeahhh they needed to make them possible on a difficulty below 'death' and then make them MORE likely on Death. Just like how the secret bike mission should have unlocked if you simply _beat_ all the other bike missions, since even getting bronze rank is so hard.
I specifically waited the second I found out it would be coming out for ps5. I adore all of the games, 1,2, and Strikes Again. And I didn’t want the issues of the Switch version to slow me down. And oh man I’m glad I did, they didn’t change much other than textures, framerate, and some cutscene backgrounds and depth of field clarity. But I am loving the quirkiness of this one and happy I waited!!
Incredible game, easily the best in the series. The off the walls writing, the way the game can switch up styles on a dime, the tight ass gameplay, the fun as fuck and creative as hell bosses, the bat shit insane characters, the voice work, everything comes together for, if not for Elden Ring, would definitely be my game of the year.
Reminder that Travis tries to console Bad Girl over her father's death by telling her to watch Space Runaway Ideon. IDEON, BE INVOKED That's possibly the funniest gag in the game
Jihrad is like the CZcams Gamer equivalent of a No More Heros assassin to video games. He started off doing it for fun and because he has a compulsion to do so, but soon realised he had been sucked into The United Gaming Association. In order to maintain his presence in the harsh unforgiving hellscape of CZcams, he had to do minigames like: -Late Night Scripting -Temperamental Video Editing -Successfully Rendering Everything -Commissioning the perfect thumbnail art on a limited budget After all those minigames, he is ready to face the next challenger in TUGA , in a mindblowing test of Skill, Luck, Patience, and Horrible Multiplayer Achievements! Instead of a Beam Katana, Jihrad has the Beard Shield and Retro Controller. Infinite power is channeled to him from these gifts from the gods. This allows him to power through even the most difficult to complete games in the world.
I played no more heroes 1 and 2 this year when I got them on switch physically. Once Christmas comes around, I hope to get this. But until I finish the game I'm afraid I can't watch this one. I'll watch this in a couple months. But you get the like now, because your videos are always quality.
Suda showing up to "Fuck" with the completionist reminds me of the early reviewer era where they'd have their "Evil nemesis" who suddenly come to mess with the review

The regular version yeah. But the version that works on the bike, not so much. and hoo it is difficult searching every cranny of the overworlds on foot. My final scorpion was wayy up in the northern corner of Santa Destroy next to diddly squat, and unless you think to go around the big building there, it'll never set off your chip.

I specifically waited the second I found out it would be coming out for ps5. I adore all of the games, 1,2, and Strikes Again. And I didn’t want the issues of the Switch version to slow me down. And oh man I’m glad I did, they didn’t change much other than textures, framerate, and some cutscene backgrounds and depth of field clarity. But I am loving the quirkiness of this one and happy I waited!!
I literally picked up NMH3 for giggles. I quickly picked NMH2 and NMH on the Switch. That sushi theme is amazing.

Incredible game, easily the best in the series. The off the walls writing, the way the game can switch up styles on a dime, the tight ass gameplay, the fun as fuck and creative as hell bosses, the bat shit insane characters, the voice work, everything comes together for, if not for Elden Ring, would definitely be my game of the year.

That's possibly the funniest gag in the game
Jihrad is like the CZcams Gamer equivalent of a No More Heros assassin to video games. He started off doing it for fun and because he has a compulsion to do so, but soon realised he had been sucked into The United Gaming Association. In order to maintain his presence in the harsh unforgiving hellscape of CZcams, he had to do minigames like:
-Late Night Scripting
-Temperamental Video Editing
-Successfully Rendering Everything
-Commissioning the perfect thumbnail art on a limited budget
After all those minigames, he is ready to face the next challenger in TUGA , in a mindblowing test of Skill, Luck, Patience, and Horrible Multiplayer Achievements!
Instead of a Beam Katana, Jihrad has the Beard Shield and Retro Controller. Infinite power is channeled to him from these gifts from the gods. This allows him to power through even the most difficult to complete games in the world.

I played no more heroes 1 and 2 this year when I got them on switch physically. Once Christmas comes around, I hope to get this. But until I finish the game I'm afraid I can't watch this one. I'll watch this in a couple months. But you get the like now, because your videos are always quality.
