It's not about Internet's reaction anymore ---- it's more about Matt's reaction this season 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes😂
Matt and Charles are going to need therapy this summer🤣🤣🤣😭
That’s true. I really wanted to see the physical pain in his eyes. Deep down, I know he is struggling because of Ferrari’s incompetence. So hard to take.
@@KenaiTobin they could hold each other and cry.

Here for my weekly dose of Matt’s pain😊
Aren’t we all here for Matt’s pain?
Yeah Ferrari is really struggeling with team stuff
You can see him losing his sanity more and more every race weekend.
Let the pain come
Me too been refreshing to get it. Finally...
"There's no Hard feelings, only Hard Tyres." - Ferrari
As a Bottas fan, I’m going to lose my mind with that Alfa Romeo falling apart every single weekend
I think Alfa hate Finnish drivers...
Actually, me as a Zhou fan, feels much more pain. Enjoyed the first point and left with the anger to the team. Zhou barely made any mistakes. Everytime there is a chance, the team failed. I was in deep deep pain, even much worse than the Ferrari fans that I know
In 2020 I’ve heard someone say that you could give Ferrari a Mercedes car and they would still find a way to lose. He was so damn right
whoever said that can see the future I think :)
Your god damn right
They did sorta have it in 2017 before that engine ruling and well many things later and that season went to hell
@@laurensomers5606 could*
They’ve had championship winning cars in 2017 2018 and still didn’t maximize the performance either but even then they were much better than they are currently. At least in terms of strategy and organization.
At one point, I genuinely believed that Max span 360 on purpose after seeing Leclerc’s hard tires just to pass him again and destroy his emotions.
😂
The thought had occured to me too 😅
I'm genuinely disappointed the "wanna see me do it again?" meme wasn't picked for Max overtaking Charles.
🧐
Doing a cheeky little spin to dab on Ferrari. Like a runner doing cartwheels and still beating everyone.
It was a double take. He just had to see them again to believe it to be true.
The Redbulls said the data and simulations pointed them to start in Hards to get p5 and p6 pre-race. But, they scratch that and adapt to the track temps. This is what Ferrari lacks. The ability to adapt and react at the current conditions
What I found more baffling was, why would you start on the mediums only to pit right after George pitted off his softs? I think they destroyed their future options. I was speechless when they made the first stop. They either needed to start on the softs or should have planned for M-M-S from the get go. They wasted their first set of mediums.
Me for the past few years: "mad respect for Williams fans, I can't imagine how that must feel"
Me, an AlphaTauri fan in 2022: "I KNOW HOW IT FEELS 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭"
My dad, who is watching this season for the first time in almost 15 years: “do Ferrari just throw a dart at a dartboard to decide strategy”. He’s not exactly wrong 😢
Probably a different ferrari than what he was used to
it's at a point when having no strategy and blindly following pirelli recommendations would be better
My mother started watching last year with nothing but some NASCAR viewing experience under her belt and even she calls me during the race to complain about how stupid their strategies are.
@@Fred_the_1996 Ferrari has always been like this. It looked like it wasn't in Schumacher era because his contract forced Ferrari to prioritize him
Fuck, the dartboard would be a better strategist than them
Sir Lewis, Super Max and Mister Saturday laughing at Ferrar's Hard strategy in the cooldown room was the best! This made my weekend.
Dont forget that max clever enough to call that hard are shit why cant charles????
@@ehrlichgesagt863 Everyone knew the Hards were shit. We literally saw BOTH Alpines struggle with the Hard tires, and for whatever reason, Ferrari STILL put him out on Hards. That is not on Leclerc.
@@ehrlichgesagt863 He did? He said he want to continue with the medium.
@@ehrlichgesagt863 if you listen to his post race interview he said that he told the team he didn't want to go on to the hard and said he wanted to do the same as Lewis but the team never listened to him and told him he needed to pit to stay ahead of Verstappen because the ferrari pit wall are a bunch of clowns.
@@AbsoleteAim He had no choice.
I feel like a big part of Ferrari's problem is that Red Bull's strategists are battle-hardened after spending so many years fighting against Mercedes. Ferrari's strategists in comparison look like total noobs, and are indecisive and left scrambling when trying to react to Red Bull's moves.
Red Bull didn't make that many mistakes before fighting the mercs either. I think Ferrari has a top team mentality that ruins a lot of their calls. One example is back in 2010-2012. As I remember, they had a lot of bad qualifying calls. Going for primes in Q2 instead of options for instance. A fast car should be able to go through on the slower tyre, but Ferrari wasn't fast enough to do that a lot of the time. But by putting the faster tyre on they had to admit they were a slower car, and that doesn't sit well with Ferrari. Red Bull just focus on sound calls. Sometimes they fail, but that's a part of it. Ferrari are to set in that "championship winning way", I think.
I think they just need new strategists lol. If a fan can watch the race and know they fucked up the second we saw the hards come out, it’s bad. Alpine was dropping like flies with the hards and they still made that call. Not the mention the tires already looked bad on paper. Why they didn’t extend the mediums and go to softs is beyond me. They don’t need battle-hardened strategists, just ones with brains lmaoo.
Hire me, I feel i can do a better job, honestly
tbh they were doing the same thing back in 2009 for the Malaysian GP ( so it isnt a new thing)
In the past 5 years ferrari has fought mercedes more than red bull did.
I can’t help but be impressed that Charles strongest opposition this season is his own team
“See you next week for more Ferrari pain” - Matt, WTF1, French GP 2022
One week later…
And repeat until the season is over
I can see Matt slowly turning into Joaquin Phoenix's Joker with every race where Ferrari screw up. That laugh at 4:31 confirms it.
His loosing his mind 😅
As a Leclerc and a Vettel fan, their teams are doing their best to make my life a struggle every other race.
Atleast Aston got Vettel a point this time round, with a bit of luck he could have been P9 or P8

As a Checo fan, its been a good start of the season. a bit of poor luck at times but the pace is there and still believe he can bring home a 1-2 in the standings
Yeah I actually enjoyed when he was following behind max when they were doing the overtakes. He looked strong
@@Ipank7000 that's the thing though. Sergio has picked up the second most amount of points in the last ten races, only Max is ahead. Im seriously looking forward to the second half
Same, it's been great to watch him this season. Max may win the Drivers Championship but it takes Max and Checo to get the Constructors
No Perez is good on street circuits and there is only one to come yet sorry
@@Ipank7000 I just think Perez is a bit shit on the 'classic' euro tracks that happen to be on the middle. He's great in the middle east for some reason though. Maybe he prefers the heat and just does better in it??
The fact max started P10, did a full 360 spin and still managed to win with a 10 sec gap is insane. I am a Max fan but I rlly feel bad for Leclerc and Sainz being screwed over by Ferrari so often. This had to be a 1-2 finish for Ferrari 100%, the only opponent they had was themself basicly with Max and Perez being P10 and P11. The moment I saw them put hard tires on Leclerc I know Max would win the race and get an even bigger point gap in the championship. Its not normal that we F1 fans can sit at home on the couch and most of the time know the strategy better than Ferrari. They rlly need to get their stuff together during the summer break. Honestly at this point I would say Mercedes is gonna get that 2nd place in the championship if Ferrari doesnt get their stuff together.
30 points difference is like 1 dnf race for both Ferrari 😂
yeah at this point merc will beat them with regular podiums
@@imibuks-replit I really do think Mercedes will get 2nd in the WDC unless Ferrari cleans house during the summer break. If Merc had the Ferrari car they would be leading the championship right now (i say that as a Max fan even).
I agree with you , as a Ferrari fan and Leclerc fan i truly think that the team deserves to lose the 2nd place in the championship this year.It is a shame for the drivers because they worked so hard and they have the dedication and the skill to win.
@@gagegr I fully agree, Ferrari has the best car on the grid, closely followed by RB, and Merc does know how to handle that... Ferrari is an absolute shit show at the moment
There are three guarantees in life: Death, taxes, and Ferrari completely fumbling their strategy

@@christ_is_risen2814 Ferrari has strategists who are supposed to understand what’s the best thing to do Charles does not have the screens and data from the other drivers and doesn’t know that the hards are awful also that would bring a bunch of tension into the team which they don’t need when Verstappen doesn’t have to win anymore

I'd say Danny Ric did pretty decent this time, but also got shafted with the hard tires. It almost felt like whoever went for the hard tires fell back 6-8 places. Mick is another great example.
Exactly people completely overlooked that he also got put on the hard tyres and they just look at Danny's result and go: "Eh, another shite race for Ric, time to retire"
Lando also on hard tires
@@wiggy110 the 4-5 people behind Lando were hard tyre runners when he came out of the box tho. Danny came out of the box in front of soft and medium tyre runners. Meaning Danny lost out on more positions but at the end of the day lando's pace also massively deteriorated
For the first time in ages, I cheered for Mercedes to finish ahead of the Ferrari's. Lewis is also much more likeable when he's not winning
Ferrari’s early tribute to Vettel’s retirement: “Better than trying to come back here, mate!”

Ferrari's logic: Starts with the mediums, change tyres at the same time that the ones with softs

Max with the 360 no scope win, nice !
Even though I'm a Verstappen fan, I really feel bad for Leclerc! It seems like that Ferrari screw him over again and again. I think it does beg the question if Leclerc has to leave Ferrari to win a WDC.
Yes, and i'm afraid that Leclerc Ferrari stint could turn like Kimi in McLaren
I'm a Hamilton fan, and I'll admit it pains me to see such an obviously talented driver brought low by a team that doesn't know what to do with him. Should Lewis retire before Ferrari infuriates Charles into quitting motorsport entirely I'd be delighted to see him take his place.
They tried screwing Sainz to let Leclerc and karma did its job
@@tjenadonn6158 I doubt Mercedes will scoop up Lecler. I think they chose Russel as their next "big talent" (or whatever word fits best) and they will want to make him the priority. Lecler and Russel are both drivers I can see winning championships but in the same team it would be much like Lewis and Nico, the work environment will turn hostile because they will both want to win and be put first by the team.
@@maartenderooij2897 True. I just want to see Leclerc go to a team that could use him to his full potential. More than being a Lewis fan or Mercedes fan I'm just a fan of good racing, and that means good drivers in good equipment with good strategy. I get that not all of the teams can be at the front of the grid, and they there are always going to be the Haases and the Virgins of the sport, but in my book the ideal season is one where the contention for the championships is as much of a tossup as is possible even if it isn't an even twenty-way split. Leclerc could seriously be bringing the heat to Mercedes and Red Bull every week if only he wasn't stuck with Ferrari. It's like watching an amazing actor give the performance of a lifetime, but it's in a generic straight-to-streaming romcom that clearly doesn't deserve it: am I making sense? I don't care where he ends up; I just want him somewhere better than where he is.
Also loved the little addition to race rundown going through the grid and chatting about all the drivers and teams 👌
I feel you, Matt. The pain and the laughter that put on.
As someone following MSC closely, I have to say that Haas strategy is also very painful. I mean putting Mag on hards just to see him going nowhere and then putting Mick on hards too. It hurts...

To be fair the maclaren were basically on the same strategy as Ferrari only Norris was already far ahead of the competition so it didn't cost him points but points were on the table for Ricciardo
Yeah it was awful, it's not the first time they fucked up Mick with the strategy though but this time Mick had a very good start, had a very good pace to finish in the points and when they went for the hard tyre *puff* good bye points. What brings me again to Ferrari.... Not only they saw how bad the hard tyres were with alpine they had a client team also failing to make them work and still choose to go with them.....

As both a McLaren and Danny Ric fan: yep, definitely struggling. McLaren strategists have also made some quite questionable decisions (hard tyre anyone?). 🤜
I don't understand how everyone is condemning the Ferrari team for putting the hard tyres on, but not the Mclaren team and instead blame DR.
@@karyndower1443 Mclaren only had one set of medium tyres for the race, they had no choice. Granted, that is itself a mistake they made but it's a mistake that Alpine, Haas and Alfa Romeo made too. Norris ran the same strategy as Danny and made it work.

@@AranenDen I think the problem is the opposite. I think they’re 100% trusting in their computers and systems and not leaving any room to work around.
Maybe I’m insane for thinking that, but it seems like they create a plan and they’re not able to think on their feet to change it.
No, you would need to learn a lot. It is hard to screw up every week. You would get it right every so often.
@@braindump1446 Actually sir, the strategists are in fact qualified engineers. They may not be the same people who design parts for the car (they also may be), but they are definitely engineers.
I've been looking forward to this
What a drive Max that was epic
Mercedes fan here.
Beginning of the season was rough but I got used to it. This weekend obviously felt pretty good tho. :)
The only thing more ridiculous than Ferraris strategy is Nicholas 🐐ifi getting 1st in Fp3
Not even that is more ridiculous
Made up for it by coming last in qualifying
Still got a purple first sector in q1
And a purple sector for P20!
@@cricketknowall He probably could have gotten to Q3 if he didn't mess up in the end
Christian to Mattia:” I am planning to go for extended holiday with family over summer break . Can you please cover for me at Spa ?”
Mattia : “Don’t worry. We have plan V and plan P in place to get RedBull 1-2”
Christian : “ Thank you mate. You are always dependable “
Mattia is Dilussional!!!
This is already happening. Christian need not ask for it.
In my opinion, cleanest Race Rundown ever, props to you Matt 👏
Matt's sadness is the fuel I need to get through my week.
Watching Matt slowly break down over this season has been great.....come on over to the Max side of things...we will take you
Couldn't agree more. But then again, would he be as entertaining to watch if he isn't suffering over Ferrari's failures? :))
@@raviencrafttv4375 Touché
Matt and co are so incredibly in pain that they failed to notice Bottas DNF and put him as one of the finishers in the race rundown. 😂
He completed 90% of the race distance and was thus classified as a finisher.
@@RaZor921 Hmm, is that a WTF1 criteria or is it the same in the rule book? Because that would have interesting implications.
The Ferrari 3-points social media team championship made me laugh 😂 Matt is great
During this race, after Ferrari's big brain moves, Matt's reaction was what I was looking forward to most.
I think Max, Russel and Lewis laughing at Ferrari was the moment of the day
The shoutout to Nicholas Latifi getting and purple first sector and still finishing p20 was funny as hell.
Bottas finished P20
@@saifmehdi178 20 in qualifying. Bottas dnf so he didn't get P20. numbered positions are only for finishers
Lmaoo @ the social media team winner. I didnt believe that was a real tweet at first 😂
McLaren/Ricciardo fan here. Honestly after the opening race, my expectations for this season were through the floor, so it's not a punch to the gut the way it is for my Ferrari/Leclerc fan brother who thought he might get to watch his team and guy win a title this year
Mercedes have the same amount of podiums as Ferrari as of this race.
Red Bull:
1: 9
2: 6
3: 1
Total: 16
Ferrari:
1: 4
2: 5
3: 2
Total: 11
Mercedes:
1: 0
2: 2
3: 9
Total: 11
McLaren:
1: 0
2: 0
3: 1
Total: 1
Last 5 races is even better for Merc
Somehow I knew that not choosing to be a Ferrari fan's gonna be the right way
As a mercedes fan I'm pretty happy we are maximising ever weekend and we are improving aswell. And not throwing away points
Max put on a masterclass today, big respect.
It's good to see Hamilton and Verstappen talk again... Even if it was at the cost of Ferrari's ridiculous strategy. 😁
Honestly the toxicity between the two teams, especially their fans (Max fan here) and both Dutch and British media, I fully understand why Max prefers this year's fight with Leclerc.
Again, this year was a lot of fun untill Mercedes started forcing TD's down the throats of all teams to fix a problem that primarily affected the Mercedes and that is miraculously less of an issue since their car became more competative.
I like a 3 way fight and I do know Lewis deserves a better car. But I really don't want the drama of last year, with the smear campaign continuing.
At this point i want leclerc to win a race or 2, just for Matts sanity... and im a max fan myself
@wimpie willemse rent free 😭😭😭.
@wimpie willemse your comment says a lot more about you than you think: it's clear you wanted to insult Lewis, a lot of material was available: the jewelry diva, too snobish and arrogant to even go to the grill the grid, clearly didn't want a good teammate until he was close to retirement, etc... but no, you went with what was clearly the worst part about him in your head: he's brown.
@wimpie willemse whoa there mate, im not the biggest lewis fan myself, but no need for the racism, thanks
@wimpie willemse You sound like you buy NFTs.
the way you can just see the slips into insanity in Matt's eyes in this epidode
Matt slowing losing it is the best thing I’ve seen all day 😂
