  • On July 20, 1969 astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon. Prior to taking their first steps on the lunar surface, Aldrin celebrated communion to honor the God who had made their journey possible. After returning to Earth he noted that the first liquid poured on the moon, and the first food ever eaten there, were the bread and wine of communion. I was born 18 July 1969. The Apollo 11 moon landing mission was 16-24 July 1969. I have a bond with the mission and a spiritual bond. Buzz Aldrin was an elder in his church and got the ok to partake in communion on the moon. So, when they landed; the first thing Buzz did was to do just that. So the first food and drink consumed on the moon was communion. Here is the proof (czcams.com/video/ZkCnPD2RnKI/video.html ). I was raised believing the Bible and I have read sources outside the Bible that agrees with Bible and the Bible is true and Jesus did exist and still exists. God the Father is REAL and so is the Holy Spirit.

    God bless you Buzz Aldrin, this was utterly beautiful to learn about, and I agree, there is no better way to celebrate such an achievement than to give thanks to the Lord who made it possible.
    Lets pray that the astronauts who are the first to land on Mars do the same.

    Love it 💞Buzz Aldrin was a Christian who ws in Apollo which landed in Moon. The First thing he did on moon was to have Lords Supper on moon reciting the bible verses !!.

      The intended broadcast of Buzz Aldrin’s scripture reading was silenced due to a lawsuit and ongoing legal battle brought on by atheist, Madalyn Murray O’Hair. She apparently had a problem with the Apollo 8 astronauts broadcasting a scripture reading out of Genesis during their own lunar orbit. NASA caved in order to not ruffle Ms. O’Hair’s feathers and others like her.

      @@daimejustinteet9791 Thank you for the info. It is so sad that atheists demand silence when Christians pray, read from the Bible or use communion, yet they push the hardest for free speech. That could be the reason why the program had failed after that.

      @aethelredtheready1739 Před 4 lety

      Mark Smit somehow I think it may have been a different reason, maybe to do with the massive cost of the program. Additionally, it was not broadcast because of the establishment clause, as it is a government program. Buzz can talk about god as much as he wants, he just can’t do it while NASA is footing the bill for broadcast. Would you be as ok with it if Buzz wanted to read the quran or a sutra over the air?

    How he brought and ate the Holy communion and wine there without a priest.. Catholic church even in that year could not give Holy Host or wine to any lay person and bring it to the moon so they could just eat and drink it there in the moon?. and in that year how he touched and ate the Host, only catholic priest can touch the Host. It was not Catholic thing. Probably he was a protestant or whoever helped him to do that or whoever created this video and spread this kind of thing is ignorant about the true Catholic Church or he's one of the enemies of the Catholic Church.

    • @entropy2002
      @entropy2002 Před rokem

      He was a Presbyterian elder for his church. He was given special permission to do this by his pastor who pre-consecrated it. The Catholic Church has many strange, unbiblical traditions.

      @baum7des7lebens7 Před rokem +2

      Jesus said : "do this in remembrance of me" not tell the priest to do x, y and z and don't touch the bread. Many, many countries in the world don't tolerate believers very well or even persecute us and there are no catholic priests around. Yet do we find the most devout followers of Christ in those underground congregations. Those who even go to jail or worse because of their faith. We are free to turn to God directly. Jesus himself is not only our saviour but also our high priest!
