@James Earl If it was, the roaming charges would be astronomical!
Actually a satellite phone signal is relayed 22,000 miles to the satellite and 22,000 miles back to Earth, about 1/5th of the distance.
Let me get this straight. Today in 2023, reporters on scene of an event have a delay whilst talking to the studio.only a few kilometres away.
(Theu nod their heads whilst holding an earpiece in ,waiting to hear the questions from the studio)
(Then the reporters in the studio wait whilst the reporter on scene is still listening to the question asked 30 seconds ago)

There is no noticeable delay in dialog between the studio and field reporters locally where microwave is used. AHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAH WHAT A CLOWNFIESTA
But yet my phone call will drop signal from a call a street away 😒
Does your phone have the NASA Deep Space Network on the other end to relay your phone calls?
Via Dia
i have At&T that shit isn’t compatible with my shitty service
yeh but you don't have the superior technology they had in the 60's that was so important but then everyone in the world forgot it so they had to revert to more modern but less effective technology of today
2:50 he had the photo taken from the moon on the wall before they came back from the moon? Hahaha
No, that photo was taken from the previous Apollo that orbited the moon
maybe the photo was sent through the Deep Space Network (DSN) or The Manned Space Flight Network (MSFN) and connected through Houston Mission control to the network and sent by Neil Armstrong by a fax machine in the rocket and received instantly
no delay, no latency, everything is a hoax
The "delays ' are inconsistent which we all know proves this is merely acting badly
There was a delay. I remember it.
It was edited out for this video. Notice the jump cut?
Was this edited? From "What you have done" to "Thank you Mr. President" at 1:58 was less than 1 second; at the speed of light, it should have been 1.5-1.6 seconds for the signal to go to the moon (via the satellite and Australia) and the same back - so 3 seconds, but I only count 1 second.
Yes, it is edited and the producer made that clear with the fade to black between speaking turns.
@@andrewclark8630 I think it's better to leave the pause in because that's part of the history and emphasizes the very thing that makes the call newsworthy--the huge distance.
At 55second mark you can see a picture of earth from the moon. But wait
As a former employee of the Bell System we did some pretty amazing things. Western Electric..Bell Labs were all part of AT&T.
Yep faking a moon landing is quite an amazing thing. Convinced millions to this day that its still real and credible. Amazing.
too much amazement for that rigmarol for normal phonecall, may too much travelling....
How did they already have a picture hanging up on the wall of the office of earth from the moon when that was the first time on the moon?
i love the expression of the three when they do the press conference and talk about the moon looking like their dog just died, FAKE MOON LANDING 100%
That presser was held after 3 weeks of quarantine. You really expected them to be jumping up & down?
How the heck did they have such better signal then they do now? We have 5g supposedly better than those but my signal gets distorted and i can barely hear them😅😅
5G is data speeds and has nothing to do with the voice quality. If you have bad service, you should contact your provider, or get a new phone. Mine works fine nearly 100% of the time.
We don't have Radio Transmitters in 2022 to call that far. Great Movie 🍿😂
How did landline connect to the moon?
it didn't. the land line connected from D.C. to mission control in Houston Texas. from there it connected to the space craft in the same way all the other communications did--via radio links
Maybe you could *_watch the video you're commenting on that explains it???_*
The world needs to wake up
Pause at 55 second you can see the back pucture of the world and how did there have that picture by the way
From Apollo 8 in December 1968, the photo is called "Earthrise" by William Anders
Why dont you show the original broadcast where we can see what he was actually looking at on his TV... a still image of the 3 actornauts just standing there. Its a good gag, Why has youtube scrubbed this completely???
@@OGKenG I dont have to prove a negative. The burden of proof is on the one making the claim. I deny the claim that men went to the moon because its proposterous and violates observed physics
You realize only two astronauts landed on the moon, not three? And where is this alleged video that proves it's all fake. It's very interesting how you can make up evidence, but can't actually show it
@@AA-wf2zc
Oh, no. The evidence is abundantly clear that we did go. There are actual photos of the landing sites with footprints visible.
We don’t need 5G or 6G. We need these phones.
😎
I don’t think you could send pictures or files through this system unfortunately
5g and 6g only has to do with giving ai space to exist.
Watch NASA spacewalk 1960.
