1993: The whole world's gone mad.
2023: Hold my beers.
Always fun to see how many of Today's Stars got their early acting chops on Law & Order!!
Who are you referring to?
@@rileymannion5301 A very young and then-unknown Sam Rockwell plays Randall Boreland
Yeah, it’s crazy. Between Law & Order and ER....
Filming in NYC, lots of top-level stage talent available

So many good actors came through as guests on Law and Order on their way up
"the whole world's gone mad"
Oh you have no idea bub...no idea how mad it truly has gone.
Yeah, if only these guys went after Donald Trump's criminal dealings, they could have saved America a lot of trouble down the line.
The world is turning and burning.
And Epstein and Clinton
This was made 9 months its got even more mad
@@samanthamorris427 the show is from the 90's
Ben Stone: The world has gone crazy
To Ben Stone: You have no idea.
rite
.. I love the look of bemusement on Phil's face @ 1:58 when Ben Stone says 'Without anything specific I have to go on my instincts'... and then turns the tables briliantly on Stone @ 4:34 when says 'We have instincts too Ben'... The look of 'Touche' on Stone's face as he nods his heads in defeat is great.
Not in defeat but acknowledgement
That is a shockingly young Sam Rockwell
Much before his epic dance in Charlie's Angels
Hey! Thats Sam Rockwell!!
Ahh, the 90s...when girls would rock a hairdo whose front would always get caught in their eyelashes, lol
Yeah you gotta love those Saved By The Bell teen hairstyles
unless you were a black haired poodle like myself! ☹️
Absolutely one of the greatest if not the greatest crime show ever made if there's nothing else on TV you can always find a Law and Order on some Channel
I remember watching this episode and my reaction was "Hey! It's Wade Wells from Sliders".
I guess the whole mess involving this case caused her to move to San Fransisco......
She’s old ... too old to play a teenager.
@@girlgarde Naw this is her from another dimension.
Multiple dimensions would explain how Munch is connected to everything
@@calvinallen3424 I would've love to have seen Munch in an episode of Sliders.
This episode is so sad a young Asian boy was killed by the family of a young White boy because the Asian boy beat the White boy in a science fair project and he doesn't get justice because of lying and other things, the dead boy's family must be outraged.
thats sad. some bullshit
Part of me wonders if the lie on the part of the girl was deliberate. Like, she and her family decided to make this transparent lie that supposedly completely sank the defendants so that a mistrial could be declared. Or maybe she DID see the van, and WAS pressured to report this to the DA, but then when preparing to go on the stand, she made the conscious decision to give too much information that she couldn't have seen at the time in order to make her testimony a lie and therefore force a mistrial. Kinda like Agatha Christie's "Witness for the Prosecution".
I'm confused. 1) Was the girl lying? 2) Did the white boy really kill the Asian kid? 3) If the Asian boy died bc he beat the white boy in a science fair project, how was killing him going to change that fact?!
I’ve yet to see the full episode, but it's unfortunate the outcome had to be what it is.
At the end of this episode, I said, "This was expected". The other way around, the Asian boy would have been roasted on an open fire...
Ah yes, Zaphod Hammer Rockwell at his earliest. Solid gold.
The mother, that’s Rory’s grandmother. Actress Kelly Bishop.
Emily Gilmore! I forget that Kelly Bishop's been acting for such a long time (original cast of Chorus Line). And long time NY based.
So Sam Rockell's character from Ninja Turtles finally got arrested

I’m so happy Sam Rockwell isn’t always the bad guy now lol he is sooooo talented I used to hate him because of Green mile lol. Now he is one of my favs. You guys should see Mr. Right it’s so funny
As I am fond of telling others "If an actor with a role as a bad guy makes you hate them, then they portrayed that character perfectly."
@@bubbaguy4411 I know but when they are too good at being the sadistic one it leaves an impression lol. I’m just saying the man is an all around great actor lol.
Allen Ruggiero from Dead Poet's Society! Wow. That's far more exciting to me than Sam Rockwell.
Ok, i love this show now.
LOVE IT! 🤣 Ben got played. Lol.
OMG a young Sam Rockwell.😃 Young Hollywood actors have been on the original Law and Order 😃 Wow that is so cool 😀😀😀
Holyshit! It's Wild Bill from The Green Mile!
Nice bravo
We need the clip from the end of "Life Choice" where Stone shuts the defendant down!
the abortion bomber? its up, well kinda anyway. czcams.com/video/lqLSlQY-8w8/video.html best of ben stone
When you realize that Repo's Rotti Largo was in Law and Order. It's like watching ER--everyone had a cameo somewhere!
A very young and then-unknown Sam Rockwell.
Pshh, so much for justice... Every time a criminal gets to breathe free air, injustice laughs.
Sam Rockwell!! I love him!!
That judge is a dead ringer for Ed Koch!
Because it is Ed Koch.

Barely recognized Sabrina Lloyd (Sliders, Sportsnight) in this clip!
They may as well drop the case, it’s not worth it
Law & Order: Sliders
Sabrina Lloyd AND Sam Rockwell? Not bad...
Sam Rockwell, the ridiculously cute first girl from Sliders, last name Lloyd I think and one of the boys from Dead Poet's Society.
Sabrina Lloyd.
I know people say “I loved Briscoe and Logan” or “Greevey/Logan” etc, but me I always loved Cerreta/Logan
What was the reason for the kid being killed?
mizzygirl6473 To my best memory, the defendants were a working class family. Their younger son, who was in the court booths, was a very intelligent and gifted student, and to his family saw him as person who could succeed in life, and thus strives to get him the best education opportunities. However, the boy had a friend, the victim, who had a similar background and was also very intelligent, proving to be a challenge for the boy to achieve if the other always was deemed smarter. Thus, to make sure that he could succeed and not be bested by a First Generation Chinese kid, the two of them removed the competition by killing him.
I may have missed some bits and specifics but overall that was the general motive for his death
@@elisabethschmerzler963 so why the false testimony from the girl? Video titled "Evil Genius", but no payoff for that.
Chris C. She was the girlfriend of the victim, and they were both friends of the son. Her false testimony could have been due to wanting to get justice for her boyfriend and also bring a twisted sort of peace to the whole situation, especially for her friend who hadn’t known his mother’s ploy and was most likely going through a hard time emotionally and mentally as well
HELLLLOOOOI
I really want to know why she lied. Her reactions during the episode shows she wasn't involved but did she want to protect her friend's family from being killers? Her boyfriends family got no justice in the end. I bet her mother forced her too.
How did this one end?
This was the end of the episode with Stone saying "the world has gone mad"
Hey guy is Paulie from goodfellas
Ya
The poor boy was innocent and the spoilt little rich kid gets away with murder typical
I like Paul Sorvino.
Someone explain his scene pls?
The teenage girl lied because it looked like her boyfriend's killers were going to be acquitted. Then the conviction was overturned once it was revealed she couldn't have seen what she said she saw.
zammmerjammer thank you.
zammmerjammer So they were the killers, but because of the lie the witness told, they got released?
