I just loved how Stone ambushed that judge to sign his warrant as he was trotting to the toilet to relieve his exploding bladder:D.
That wasn't his bladder
That's a straight up cheek clech hobble
It seems so foreign this day and age to be THAT close to someone...
**A wild Stone appeared!**
@@DJROCKSTAZ *Stone used "Stop you at the stall"! It's super effective*
@@levibradley5098 *Judge Willpower fainted!*
“It’s a hope chest.”
“What were you hoping for?”
🤣
That line makes me laugh every time I see it, lol
We always called it a "hopeless chest"...
Lol! 😂😂😂😂😂
I was waiting for her to respond with “I was hoping you wouldn’t open it”
Oh my God, I about died laughing when he said that😂😂😂😂😂
5:34 I like how Stone played on the man's submissive personality and set himself as a dominating presence to get the edge in the case.
Brilliant display of psychological warfare!
How to get a judge to issue a warrant with very few questions - catch them as they're on the way to the john after a very long hearing...
how else would you get a warrant.
That was a brilliant move!!!!
When stone asked that question at the end he sounded genuinely confused like a child
It says alot about Stones character that the judge is willing to give a warrant solely on his word that it's justified no real questions asked
I worked in law as a paralegal if I dropped a certa8n lawyers name as someone I got to check our posution the otherside instantly gave up.
7:03 - "What were you hoping for?" I just loved the bewildered expression on Stone's face when he was holding Ms. Hendrick's S&M gear:).
😂 Love the acting
Female lawyer: U can't prove he didn't.
Stone (taking off his glasses): Try me.
That's got 2 b the most iconic Ben Stone 1 liner throughout the entire episode.
“What were you hoping for”
“A climax” 😂
"What were you hoping for?"
Funniest line in the whole show. And Ben wasn't trying to be funny.
She was probably hoping that he wouldn’t open it!
LolLol!
I am sure she is well enough aware that a search warrant covers any container on the premises covered by the warrant. The only question was are they going to force open the chest or is she going to let them have the key. It's a difference of about fifteen minutes.
Over 20 years of watching Law and Order, and I'm still working on reminding myself to breath through the action!
A masterpiece of TV drama!
It isnt when people tell on themselves for no reason. Some do it when there is no chance they lose unless they do.The law and orders do it too much.
100% in agreement!!!😀
"He didn't beg to die!!!"
Get em Ben!!!
"I'm in charge here..."
Ben was on fire here.
One of my favorite episodes. Great response to the line "It's a Hope Chest."
“Try me” I loved when he said that.
When Mr Hill switched off the recorder, I expected it to self destruct. [Mission Impossible reference]
"What were you hoping for?"
A lot more than youll ever get, stone.
I don’t think he wants what she gets.
@@jexelbur6872 lol vanilla
Michael Moriarty is such an underrated actor.
What is he up to these days?🤔🧐?
@@jamesfracasse8178 lives in Canada. Only acting on occasion.
Not by me!
"What were you hoping for?"😂😂😂
Love the 80’s hair on defense counsel
It took me a minute to recognize her as the lieutenant or captain on Bosch. Bosch's boss. (And if you did the 80s right, your hairstyle isn't the only thing you regret.)
@@thedabara2477 oh right I like Bosch - good catch
This aired in 1990ish, so the 80s hair and clothing doesn’t surprise me.
I liked how Ben pockets a lude before opening the hope chest. He's prob going to put it to good use later.
Don’t you just love the reel to reel tape ! Ah those were the days !
“Dominance and Submission”. Sounds like Los Santos Police Department.
It's a song by Blue Oyster Cult.
How low effort was the Dr’s office staging? Lol
I just noticed Ben Stone has picture of RFK on the wall near the office door. I had forgotten that. Didn't McCoy have one too?
Wasn’t he supposed to say yes mistress?😁
Wanda Christian He’s supposed to say whatever she tells him to say😉
Too kinky for network TV 😂
wait a minute! Isnt that a very young Frances Conroy from American Horror story??
She also acted in 6 feet under.
She’s also Barney Stinson’s mom
You go through the guest cast list of Law and Order and at times it reads like a Who's Who of Hollywood. I'm pretty sure nearly every actor you see in a US TV series appeared at least once in L&O in a guest cast role.
draco84oz... it’s part of the show’s greatness... a lot of real New York thesps in the supporting roles..
she also plays Frances Conroy in real life
6:22 I’ll bet that lady’s apartment costs $7k a month to rent
"A whore dear, a whore."
I like a lot of the sets on L&O.
It's Peggy "the cookie lady" from Everybody Loves Raymond!
I always knew barney's mom was into some weird stuff lol
"It's my hope chest" ... "what were you hoping for" 😂😂😂
The Dom is played by Frances Conroy- more recognized in her role(s) in American Horror Story and the mother in the Joker (Joaquin Phoenix)
& 6' Under
Wow I used to watch L&O all the time! Eve if I watched the episode multiple times, I still have to watch it. They used to have marathons on the USA network or A&E (before they became a trashy reality channel) and I could literally watch for hours!
They had thanksgiving marathons too.
I went through my whole labor watching one of those marathons. Had my son at the hospital in an hour..
They would also have marathons back in the late 1990s on TNT and TBS.
Every time I see Adam Schiff, I feel for a tuna sandwich with lots of mayo. There was an episode where he was eating one .... nothing ever looked more delicious!
Ikr!!!
His sandwiches were the bomb!!!
I get hungry every time I see him eating a sandwich...i would eat mine with either lays plain or Snyder's barbeque.
A nice ice cold Pepsi to wash it all down.
I remember that. Such a great actor.
Now I want one🤣
A tuna sub is my favorite. I'm not as bothered as I should be that Subway's is of questionable provenance.
Myrtle Snow!!!!
looks like the same apt at the end of saturday night fever
I like the older episodes better not so dramatic better acting to in my opinion
Yep 1st season was the best
I hate that I can't find the majority of these seasons!
Adam Schiff in the court postings. I about laughed my butt off.
Great one, man.
2:17 he was about to say "ummm rude much"
Get em Stone...GET EM!!!
I need to see this episode now!!!
Ben Stone FTW.
6:55 did Stone just pocket that pill for later?
Button, button...who's got the damn button?
What you don't know about people...oh my ! Let the truth be told ! Go Ben Go !!
Wow 🤩
Dominatrix like to play rough and wild !
They handling potential evidence without gloves.
It's the lady from American horror story!
She couldn’t get him off ... the phone.
2:27 Old TEAC 2300 reel-to-reel, they were nice back in the day.
At 5:56 is that Matt Damon as an extra in this scene?
Nah.
It does look like him
Wysiwyg101 doubtful he wasn’t doing extra work by then
Matt Damon would have been younger...like 11 or twelve at that time(?) Oh wait, I checked his birthday, born in 1970. 1970?? He looks too good for 49!
The man accused of murder played Erika Cane's mother's husband on All My Children. Don't recall the actor's name.
Actor Larry Keith played Nick Davis on All My Children.
omg frances as a dom? i should watch this show lol
Michael Moriarty was my mcm forever. That big head was so haaawwwttt
Ha ha that's a mean thing to say
I find it odd that the prosecutor is the one handing out the search warrant and searching the house, instead of the detectives
Probably so they could have Ben Stone open the hope chest. The detectives could have made that comment, but not quite with his unique intonation.
sometimes DA's or members of the state attorney's office go to crime scenes or search warrants to make sure everything is above board, or to help officers make decisions on if further warrants are needed. not that unusual honestly
Me too, they tended to do that a lot in earlier episodes
2:00 Full size reel to reel tape recorder! Anyone under 30: What?!?!?! is that?!?!? I still have one.
"He'd be all pale and sweaty."
😓😥😟😰😨
I will never let a women handcuff me to a bedpost
My only comment in this is that the Defense Attorney completely messed up in her assessment of the charge.
You don't need motive or willful intent to catch a manslaughter charge. In fact, that's the key difference between manslaughter and murder:
Reckless or negligent actions - unaffiliated with nonviolent criminal activity - resulting in preventable injury and eventual death of the victim.
Is that the bounty hunter from Firefly?
Is the lady lawyer actress the chief on the Bosch series?

makes your Aubery go a 'joggin!
Where can one buy season 4? I wanna watch
Best place I seen with season 4 is Amazon, I found a whole season for 20$ Canadian
I shop for sets by season on ebay.
I don’t like how they make Stone out to be some super powered God who never loses and can do anything he wants. It’s not reality at all.
Your right it’s not reality but it’s stones and we’re living in it
Goodbye All
These were s-t-r-a-n-g-e folks. Nice that they found one another.
Is that Jubal Early?
Anyone know how it ended
That lawyer did not age well
Are u going to be doing season 2 ?
They just don’t make em like these episodes anymore. 😔🤣
Chris Dameron they don’t make TV like this anymore either...
Does Stone end up becoming, a judge, in the later L&O series?
_24/03/2020 1:49am_
No. Michael Moriarty was let go from the show. Years later, Ben Stone was killed off. The first time he was mentioned in years was at his funeral on SVU when his son Peter became a prosecutor for the SVU team.
@@BrotherDerrick3X
Ok, thank you.
Derrick Threex, what was the beef?
@@leehaelters6182 I forgot exactly what it was. Michael Moriarty had made a statement to the media, and the producers weren't happy about it.

I much prefer Steven Hill's Adam Schiff, rather than Pencil Neck's Adam Schiff.
HILLARY TO BILL.
All the kink shaming is not cool.
I think it’s alright.
To be quite honest BDSM was way more underground in this age and a lot has changed and BDSM nowadays is much more understood and mainstream in a way, now one of the most popular kinks amongst couples across all age groups.
1990s was way different than even the 2010s let alone 2020s.
It's interesting the district attorney on this series is named Adam Schiff. The real-life counterpart is one of the most useless members of Congress.
Haha can a black man pale? I never thought about that before.. hey man you ok? Your looking not so black today ? Or do they go grey
not an eminette I'm me see no in in me Black people go grey instead of pale like white people.
