hate that this clip didnt show the twist that the guy who got murdered didnt even kill the kid and the killers were really the 2 guys who IDed him in the line up
They were 2 teenage boys Jimmy G. murdered Ryan Davies "Kid was a loser anyways" yikes so cold and twisted and set up a misunderstood quiet and nice pedophile and got him killed by Ryan's dad.

There’s the classic, “you don’t have children you can’t understand” from Stabler. Eff off, dude. You’re talking to Benson. Patron Saint of all victims.
Man, the father went to jail for shooting the guy who didn’t even do it. SPOILER: it was the kids who said they saw the guy riding his bike in the park and said they recognized him in the line up.
This guy did not deserve to die. Yes, he did a heinous act (which I think was later revealed that he was on drugs at the time), which is very unforgivable, but he did his time, got off the drugs, followed all of the rules like putting himself on the registry, and was on his way to becoming a good citizen. He never really went near kids again besides riding through the park. It’s a shame that they didn’t even think to look after other people even other sex offenders because then maybe he wouldn’t have had to die.

My immediate response would’ve been “he was looking for something that doesn’t exist?!”
My dad is a cop and he calls them pokeymon.
The guy didn't commit this crime but committed a crime in the past and went to jail for it. He seemed to be doing fairly well staying on the straight and narrow. He mentions that he would sometimes spend time looking at playgrounds but never did anything. So progress. Didn't deserve to die could have potentially been a respected member of society again.
Unfortunetly a majority of society doesn't think that way and the cops were more than happy to target him with prejudice without ever determining if he was actually guilty or not. Honestly never like the Elliot Stabler character. He was a right wing nut job who was so narrow minded he couldn't see past his own nose.

The killers targeted him because of his past, using his equipment and MO as a guide to commit a similar crime and frame the dude.

This is what happens when the criminal justice system continues to fail in a way that suggests indifference: People take it upon themselves.
He actually hadn't done it this time, two people not shown in this clip did, so dad gets to go to prison for murder of a man who hadn't even been near his child.

as "Lost Traveler,' based on the 2012 Brooklyn murder of Leiby Kletzky. The perps were two girls, Courtney and Emma.

No way are people going "well the child sex offender went too jail and said he wouldn't do it again!" you're joking right? fiction or not that's a damn child predator who once acted on actions and because they're being " good" they deserve to live freely? what about the kids he did this too? imagine having to see your offender happily buying groceries or something
He went to jail. He did his time. But as SVU says, 80% of former child predators go back to their old ways. So what should we do with the other 20% who stay on the straight and narrow?
