The soldier that told Munch everything just sits at the table at the end with the most calmest look, like he's so relieved, while everyone else is just completely shocked.
As he stated earlier, he didn't understand why the protections didn't go away, but when they arrested him it suddenly made sense.
The soldier knew and covered it up. He was just as big a scumbag.
Ikr
Yep that was one of my favorite part of the episode
@@earlloder8180 I don't think he did. He might have had an idea, but he didn't know for a *fact* that Craig was an accomplice. Snitching would have meant losing his job that he worked so hard for and possibly his life. You know how it goes... The soldier's character is a very common character that is used in various TV shows... the one who follows order, knows about the dark secrets but can't do anything because of the fear of losing everything.. I think Eric is right, he was relieved...
You know Munch is frustrated AF when he takes off his dark glasses
I think they're transitional lenses; Richard Belzer has light sensitivity.
Yes and there were no nazi's in NASA, this guy was not going to back down. Legend.
yes cuz breaks his heart to know what happened to those boys he wants justice
I hadn't picked up on that before. Thanks for that clarification.
"where'd you find these?"
"thats classified"
Classic
🤣🤣😭 love it
Later he said "You're hurting me"
And John hit him with the "It's not our concern"
Or parliament
Or in the Catholic Church
Munch at his sarcastic and witty best!
I miss the old seasons.. the mixing of partners, all the different aspects of a case, and John Munch.
Same. They were the best.
I desperately wanted Munch to go to Brooklyn Nine-Nine. They would’ve had Wunch AND Munch 🤣🤣🤣
REALLY good television, it's like a cartoon now
I miss Munch. He and Fin were awesome together.
Yes they were. Amazing chemistry between them.
Best of the two duos from the first twelve seasons of svu
@@Elaine-qc5lz Second to Olivia & Elliott
Remember how munch calmly explained to a group of hell's angels there name wasn't grammatically correct 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 he took no fear to a whole new level.
His personality was very different when he was in Homicide Life On The Street.
RIP Munch. Just heard he passed today. Love his witty remarks on this show.
If I killed the people who raped me, I'd be in prison for upwards of 15 years whereas they would've gotten 8 years if anyone believed me when I reported them. The government gives more power to criminals than victims. Makes me sick.
I’m sorry that you’ve endured that. Please know that it was never your fault, and that you’re not to blame for any of it. I can’t imagine that trauma and pain that you just feel every single day. I really hope you’re doing okay, and that you’ve found healing. I hope you’ve been able to go to therapy with a counselor who specializes in SA, so that a professional therapist can help you navigate these feelings. Sending lots of love and hugs your way! 🤍
@@sabrina.natalie That's not what his comment is about. You can't really heal from something like this when you know society doesn't care enough to really punish these sickos. You have to accept some things about life that a lot of people can still ignore or be oblivious to, at least until they are older. Therapy doesn't healp that much and frankly sending people to therapy doesn't magically erase the harm that many people impose on others throughout their childhood. Preventing and locking pervers and abusers away is more efficient for society.
True embodiment of "Freedom". Get a good lawyer or pull some strings or, slam money if you got them. you can get away from anything
@@ciobalina7445 what are you, an idiot?
You’re not wrong that a big part of the problem is when society can’t punish those guilty of child abuse. But offering sympathy to victims certainly doesn’t cause any harm!
And therapy isn’t designed to make you ‘get over it.’
It’s designed to HELP you cope and live your life as best you can. That’s ab ongoing challenge, not a quick fix solution, but what’s your suggestion if you have such a problem with sympathy and therapy? Just ignore it?
Kindness to survivors who sadly never got justice is NOT a bad thing at all! 🤦♀️

Wait, Munch took of his glasses? I didn't know he was allowed to do that on this show.
That's classified
Munch?! Thats Mr Detective to you sir!
He only does that when he wants savor the moment.
I thought he was like Scooter or Dr. Bunsen on The Muppet Show - the glasses were his eyes.
Even though the kid killed his father I feel sorry for him. The abuse he had to put up and knowing that the abusers hold power over him
that man was no dad
It wasnt his father. The man adopted him in Eastern Europe from a poor family to bring him to America and abuse him and pimp him oit
@@Rockas360 I think his parents died actually
I was molested by my father when I was 4 to 5 years old. If he were still alive today I would murder him too. People dont understand what it's like. they had it coming all child molesters deserve to die.
@@tonyathreadgill6252 *Hugs you* I'm so sorry that happened to you, I hope you are well now.
Nobody ever seems to talk much about the possibility of dangerous predators, like Andrew & Craig, within the government
Or people’s delusions about swamps being drained.
@@mdelrosario69 Better to try and fail to get everyone than to never try at all. People who refuse to try are just as bad as the swamp's predators, because they're protecting those predators by insulting those who attempt to do something.
you mean like Joe Biden, barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, John Podesta, Epstein, Oprah Winfrey, Prince Phillip, Prince Andrew, Prince Charles
@@shakahunlimited666 Ok, Biden? Obama? Clinton? Oprah? All three princes? Really?
Haspert, Moore, Gaetz lots of news, just one specific side seems to not want to do much about it.
The company security manager wasn't surprised at all by the arrest of Craig Prince.
I even saw a crack of a smile. Almost looked relieved
if I work for these perverts I would find a way to shot shove and shut up. I hear human make great compose for gardens of all types. but than again I mother know that if I ever was in prison that I would never get out because I would feel it was my duty to kill all these perverts. and I hear many do get kill easy by other cons in prisons.
Oh my fucking god, the
'You're hurting me!'
'thats not our concern'
priceless. Munch is gold
Twenty years later, and this episode still gets me.
The first time I watched it was a few years ago when I started to binge watch this series, but it still gets me too. I even had to take a break from watching the show after watching this episode it was heavy.
This case pissed me off. The kid got 15 years for killing his abuser
How do you know it was 15 years, they never mention it?
@@conn_man_249 yes they did. Watch the whole episode.
@@k.a5765 Stabler said “The DA is willing to cut him a deal.”, it never said 15 years.
@@conn_man_249 🤔 I’m going to watch the episode again because I thought he got 15 years again.
He got 2nd degree manslaughter, and the minimum sentence is one year
That moment you realize Law and Order does a better job of explaining what is going on then the news.
The news is there to manufacturer consent aka toe the line.
Fox, OAN & Breitbart don't even report the news, they just make stuff up.

This was such a heavy episode but a great one. It just breaks my heart to think of the kids like Michael and the boy that was killed in Belgium. There are too many victims that could relate to their stories
yes my question to theory in all cases why is so hard when boy molested takes so much longer then girls it breaks my heart to million pieces!!
Rest in peace Richard Belzer.
“Ow you’re hurting me”
“Not our concern”
😂😂
Munch was absolutely adorable to me. I love how because of his personality I thought he got cuter and cuter.
For me it was the show about the hell's angels wannabes were after all the cops and bikers tried to out macho each other munch casually explained the aprostrophy was in the wrong place 😎👍legend.
And When He was younger He was in Scarface!!
I was in a bar in New York City and I saw him sitting at the bar. He was right there. I was too scared to approach him because of his character on the show.

Richard Belzer is the American version of Hugh Laurie.
Pretty much
Man the acting in this is amazing, I truly felt bad for that man. Nobody deserves to go through something as cruel as that
What i liked best about this episode, was when each member of the department is interviewed. Stabler about being a cop, Captain and his issue with booze, munch and the govt, etc
They revisited this idea - well, sort of - at least once in a late episode, although justice didn't get served then (the one where an innocent man gets punched while in a plane, because the girl next to him had PTSD).
Capt. Cragen sounds the exasperated dad of a smart mouth but street-wise kid.
3:21 Interesting, Munch taking off his glasses
7:23 and another maybe it’s sunglasses who knows
If I am a Judge, you don't get to use National Security unless I know what the hell is in those files. If not, I would throw it out.

7:46 "You're hurting me!" Don't fight them, then.
Greg Prince thinks he's being hurt now, wait until the his cellmates get him. I hope the corrections officers will keep him alive to suffer the fear, torment, nightmares that he inflicted upon his victims. Alive to reflect on the pain he caused and the innocence that he stole. He should not be allowed to kill himself or be killed by other inmates.
It's so odd to see anyone surprised by this kind of action. All govts have been willing to use people regardless of their backgrounds or even because of them.
Hell, look at how hard it is right now for our u.s. govt to let go of politicians that fed into a precursor to another civil war

@@moonmilkk thank you!!
Imagine Stabler questioning why anyone is provoking someone.
My only complaint when I watch these kinds of shows, is that when they hit on such a horrible topic like pedos. Especially in the government! It makes me not only cringe but also think twice about what goes on in the life of any of our seemingly “harmless” politicians and executive workers 🤔
Politicians are anything but harmless. In general, their smallest addiction is cocaine.
Hell, the US consumes 80% of the cocaine production in the world
The VAST majority of kids whom are sexually abused are molested by adults they know. In their own homes. Its not about the Guvverment
@@otaviofrn_adv I know that’s why I put quotes around harmless. You know…to be ironic XD
@@zapkvr I understand that, I’m just saying it’s saddening to me to see that kind of behavior even in our own government. I know when it comes to these types of situations it is people they know. But a person in power has more leverage and advantage to use it against others to get what they want.
The worst thing about it is Republicans and Q-Anon say it’s all Democrats, and their brain dead followers swallow it hook, line and sinker. How often have we seen that when a Republican is accusing someone of something, it’s actually them doing what they are accusing others of.
This is a similar thing of what happend in real life, Menendez brothers, truly tragic.
