There was a case in my country some years back when a guy's friends in a pub were telling the guy his daughter looks nothing like him and kept yapping at him till he got a paternity test. Indeed, he found out the baby wasn't his. But here it gets more interesting. His wife swore that she hadn't cheated and she took a DNA test as well... turns out she's not the mother! The hospital switched their baby for another one :O They found their biological daughter (who was their spitting image) and both couples sued the hospital. They won and with the settlement money they built houses next to each other, so they could stay in touch with the babies they'd cared for for 9 months. That has to mess with your psyche big time. But at least hospitals learned from this and now it's virtually impossible to switch babies.

That is so horrible. The emotional distress on all the parents and the kids.
What a wonderful ending though! I love that they found a creative way to stay involved in both children's lives.

I am a nurse. So once this baby and the wife get admitted to the pediatric ward. Little did she know, the side chick was in the room next to hers, with daddies other child. And the drama was as bad as you can imagine!

I've acted out about my daughter's dad once and then cut ties after that. The fact that I allowed myself to act out like that over a man that didn't care for me or for our child was dumb of me. After cutting ties but keeping the door open for him to be with his daughter he chose to cut things with her and at the age of 14 she wanted to build a relationship with him. Unfortunately, he made it on and off and she is now 18 and doesn't talk to him. She asked him to walk her down her senior year for homecoming and he ghosted her. F that dude.

Your daughter has you and that's all that matters. Trust me. My mum was mum and dad to me and my sister. Like your daughter I tried to get an adult relationship with him but he was hot and cold and I couldn't take the emotional manipulation any more. I text him when my son was born in 2013 and didn't hear from him again up until last year when he called me "by mistake" instead of my half sister! Our names aren't anywhere near each other in the dictionary. So unless he has us under "daughter 1" and "daughter 2" his "mistake" was bull. I just laughed and called my sister and asked her to remove my number from his phone. Xx

With the first one I knew a young man who didn’t seem to be doing anything with his life. Then he met a girl who was pregnant and he totally changed. He’s brought the girl up as his own, though she knows she isn’t, and he's doing really well at work. They must have been together about 12 years now.
That could be my step brother. He knew their daughter wasn’t his (his wife & he met while she was just pregnant), but he’s raised her, and considers her his daughter. She has never seen her father, and he never paid for any child support.
R never adopted her so they could get benefits for her, as they weren’t too financially solvent for a long time. E went by her mother’s maiden name.

Some of these are just depressing. Kids who grow up seeing their parents act like shit usually end up perpetuating the cycle of abuse/stupidity; or, if not, require decades of therapy that they may not be able to afford. But on the upside, we get a good CD video.
My life story is shit and I became the worse thing none to man because of it all. I hate myself for it. And I’m clean from all the bad stuff I did in my life, but it still shatters me to this day. I’m still new with the therapy stuff though.

If you truly want to move on and change, you have to accept your past and let it go so you can embrace your future. People change when they are broken and hurt, people change when they're struggling with addiction. That person might be a *part* of you, but it isn't you unless you choose it. You decide who you are and who you want to be every day with every choice you make moving forward. Don't let your past self hold you back - grow, change, and do good.

My mother in law wanted to try saying my daughter was "too dark" to be her sons baby. Mind you, I have a mix of races in my family, and as much as she hates to admit it, they have a mix of races on their side too. I told her I would take the DNA test, and when it comes back his, she will have nothing to do with my family. I don't agree with putting up with the disrespect just because someone is family. She hasn't brought it up s8nce. My daughters skin has lightened up too. You can tell she is m8xed, but you can also tell she is definitely mine and my husbands baby. I don't talk to the hah anymore either.
And yes, she is a disgusting racist. This very story is the moment I realized I did not want her around my daughter. Her own son cut her off. I mean, I heard slurs come from her mouth I didn't even know were actual words.

My youngest brother looked NOTHING like my father when he was born. My father accused my mother of having an affair (to be fair, my oldest younger brother IS my half-brother, the product of an affair). Mom SWORE he was his. Later on dad was going through family photos he got after his mother died and found that his uncle who was a member of the ANZACS and died when he was very young was my youngest brothers spitting image. He realized my youngest brother had somehow inherited his looks, genetically. Even now we have the photo on the wall and my brother (who is in his 30's) is even MORE his image.

I had an ex friend who was with a guy, got pregnant, broke up. He got another girl pregnant too at the same time. We warned her from the start he was a bad idea. Her only reason for him being at the birth was to not post it on social media as she wanted time to process. Within an hour of their son being stillborn he had pulled the sympathy on SM card. She was livid. He's still a tool while she's in a better relationship. The other BM ended up having a miscarriage (bit shit) but thankfully he's not a parent.
Yikes! Sad to lose a child but guess it is good to dodge a bullet. This video just reminds me why it is important to keep my legs closed. Sex is not that important to hook up with someone who first isn't going to marry and second is still hooking up with other chicks.

I love the self-awareness, though. I wish more people were like you. Just because you are a woman and people expect us to have kids doesn't mean we should. Idk why this is hard for people to understand. I have a friend who doesn't have kids and doesn't want them, and everyone thinks she will change her mind. But she has said it multiple times she wouldn't make a good mom, the people she meets wouldn't be good parents, and she isn't in a position to have kids. Not financially, emotionally, or mentally. She knows having kids would put them in a bad living situation like I just admire her honesty and self-awareness. And I have asked her what she would do if she did change her mind and she said she'd adopt.

Sooo… my daughter and her little brother are the same age for exactly 7 days. We had the same conception and due dates! So while my daughter will be 8 on April 30, her brother will be 7 on April 23. We are best friends now and have been for 4 years! 💗 Everyone is so shocked and amazed by our relationship and how we keep the siblings together. I’m so glad things worked out with us, I truly wouldn’t want it any other way!

They ask guests to lie to make the program juicier to the viewer by saying that there are additional possibilities for DNA testing when the woman/guest knows exactly who the father is because she never cheated, they just want her to say she did.

Love the story of the two different baby mamas having babies the same day. That mama was great for being cool about it and having love for the other child. That's how one should teach their children to be. Those kids are siblings and I'm glad they get to spend happy family time together.
A friend of mine had a surprise pregnancy when she was in her 40s, the same week her daughter learned she was also pregnant! Their daughters were born within a couple of days of each other and are very close.
My heart breaks for the babies born into these situations 😔

29 years ago, I was going through my own very messy divorce. The judge had a very easy time granting it, and giving me sole custody with NO visitation with the father, because he had kidnapped our baby and they were missing for almost a year.
Our time in front of the judge was brief, but my attorney told me he was staying in the court room even though our case was done. Why? Because an upcoming case was a couple with small children, and the father had suddenly left and abandoned them out of the blue. Turns out, he had just won @ 8 million bucks from the lottery, and he thought if he left his wife and children the next day he wouldn't have to share any of his winnings with them. My attorney knew this judge well, and said he wasn't going to miss this for the world! That judge was going to skewer this guy and BBQ him!
I wish I'd stayed to watch the fun, but I had to be somewhere.
My lawyer said that there really should be a comedy show called "Texas Family Court" with real cases like that one.
I watched the one about the woman who took a gay man to court after she sexually assaulted him and claimed he was the father of her child and he came back to do not the father and I have never been more happy for a man on paternity court

Coming from someone who was pregnant 13 years ago and the father of the child and I were together finding out he cheated on me every chance he got even after I had the child it's hurtful it's disrespectful because I found out the people he was sleeping around with were girls that were supposed to be my friends yes we are not together we have not been together for over 10 years and it was the best decision I ever made besides him cheating he was not a very good person he was quite abusive

It makes no sense at all to me, but women are even more likely to be victims of domestic violence when they are pregnant. 20% of women who die during pregnancy are murdered, and that is the leading cause of death in pregnancy! What kind of monster kills the woman carrying his own child?? 😭
My ex was insanely jealous, told me I was not allowed to even make eye contact with another man. One evening (when I was @ 7 months pregnant) we were out for a walk, and I saw a neighbor outside playing with his grandkids, so I smiled and said "hello!" to this Abuelo and his adorable grandkids as we walked by. My ex didn't say anything, but I knew he was angry. As soon as we got home he threw me against the wall with his hands around my neck, screaming about how I disrespected him by "flirting with a Mexican" (he used a different, ugly word I won't repeat).
This neighbor I said "hello" to was in his 70s, and those kids were so cute it was physically impossible for me not to smile! I couldn't believe my ex's rage at something so innocent and NORMAL.
That was the day I started planning my escape. I left him when my son was 6 months old with the baby, his diaper bag, and the clothes on our back.

This hit home. My first borns ‘sperm donor’ was abusive and slept around. The night my son was born he went out to wet the baby’s head but I found out he was just with his side piece. I left him a month later and haven’t seen him since. He hasn’t even tried. My sons just turned 14 and my husband adopted him. Things get better. Trust me. X

I'm a baby mama... An I've had more drama from my baby daddy then I need... He recently dated a crazy girl an acted all in love until she didn't want him because she was too busy cheating on him with other guys... Then he tried saying he was just in it for the sex not that he wanted a relationship with her... I'm focusing on me and our little boy... He's too busy trying to chase down new girls. But then whenever he gets however he gets he comes back tries to do stuff with me... But also says that he doesn't have feelings for me he just respects me as a person and our kid's mother... My husband and I have been together 8 years and his ex (who was his second wife) cheated on him the whole 5 years, talked him into adopting a child together (their daughter is her biological great niece) and by the end of their relationship had come out as lesbian. I was really nice to both her and her fiancé at the time and love my step daughter but this woman brings whole new meaning to psychotic. Everytime we’d go to pick up his daughter she would run and change clothing and come out in skin tight VERY revealing clothing (she used to be morbidly obese and while married to him had his insurance pay for a gastric bypass and boob job (no shame in that) but she normally dresses conservatively and only did this in front of him (her now ex wife would get mad when she did this). She started having their young daughter listen in on our conversations to report back to her and even slipped a handheld recording device in her bag to record us in our home. She would demand that I ignore my kids while spending time with his daughter and wanted to be invited to go on our family vacations. There’s more but my fingers are getting tired of typing. The last one was when she, her then wife and my step daughter moved to the east coast without telling us. My step daughter and I had a really close relationship and that really pissed off my husbands ex. We haven’t seen or talked to her in 7 years. We are hoping to reconnect with her when she’s 18.

I was always amazed at the number of moms I worked with as a case manager who would not make their baby daddys pay child support. While living in a homeless shelter. With their kids. I mean...WTF!!!
Well for one thing just because you file for support that doesn't mean you'll get it. Chances are if the guy cared about the mom or the kid they wouldn't have ended up in a shelter to begin with. But you will have to deal with the ex trying to get the support from them. Maybe they felt safer that way? That group seems more likely to deal with stuff like abuse, possible drug and alcohol issues etc. Also CPS likes to mess with homeless moms. Fear of a vindictive response of some sort to seeking support from a deadbeat isnt that odd if you think about it.
So glad my ex and I don't act this childish. What matters most is our daughter, and while it hasn't been always easy, we are co-parenting really well. Hell, he's even friends with my boyfriend.

What I learned from my parents' divorce & custody drama: You cannot dictate who your ex will date, you cannot just take your kids away from their other parent, & any childish, threatening, or destructive behavior you commit will be reviewed in court. So be smart & choose who you have kids with WISELY. If you're getting with a vengeful spicy pepper, then beware. Choose a mature person who will co-parent with you & likely date reasonable people if you were to ever break up. And for the love of god dont bring your kids into your drama, speak ill of the other parent, make them take sides, or speak through them like messengers. That behavior is extremely toxic, like giving "high school make your friends choose sides" vibes. Your children are seeing everything & will either grow up proud of you or ashamed of you.
