Today i share with you the modifications i've done to my 2017 Arctic Cat ZR 7000 to make it perfect. These are my opinion on the BEST MODIFICATIONS FOR YOUR ZR 7000. I'll show SKIS, CLUTCHING and MORE!

I can honestly say the 7000 procross/ yamacat is one of the best sleds made...if you dont need turbo power they are just amazing...bought my 2014 new left over in crate in 2015....since then i upgraded the skid shafts to arctic cat rr stuff...1.77 composit track...air box mod...slp quiet can...jackshaft update kit...bikeman clutch kit..lightweight rdx brake disc...hids...snowtracker carbides..dupont sliders..j&t tri hub delete....22k on it and its been unreal sled

Just found your videos and I have the identical sled....even bought in new non-current in Feb '18. I bought a full Hindle exhaust system for it...header and trail can. It was louder going down the trail with no drone but I did have to wear earplugs, so I removed it after one season but I did leave the Hindle header installed. I also went with a CVTech PB80 primary clutch. It's so easy to adjust and I have it dialed in to rev 9100. I still have the stock ski's but I'm using Bergstrom triple points. I have it dialed in pretty good with very light steering and little darting. I've had my shocks rebuilt twice and I learned something after my last rebuild......the little rubber pellet where the nitrogen gets injected into the reservoir, that thing is supposed to be self sealing but it's not. My nitrogen leaked out in 3.5 months. I had schrader valves installed into the endcaps of the reservoir.....so far so good. Fox also sells an updated endcap with the schrader valve in it but it's pricey. As for studs, I went with igrip screw in studs. They screw into the lugs of the track and they work very well, although the Ripsaw II track is not the perfect track to do this with. Whenever this track fails, I'll replace it with an Ice Attack pre studded track. So far I have 9300km mostly trouble free. The only ongoing issue I seem to have is a no start. Not when it's cold, but when it's warm. I bought the no freeze relays hoping that would help but it didn't change anything. It turns over but doesn't fire. It takes 3-4 tries before it starts and usually I won't have it happen again that day....but it'll probably happen the next. Good luck with your sled and keep the vids coming.

@@MoreToysMoreNoise ok do you have a link for it by chance? My sled is topping out at 73 mph hitting rev limiter and I figured instead of getting a stock clutch I’d just spend the money on an aftermarket one

Thanks for the support Ben , the kit comes with everything you need plus the weights are adjustable to make sure you get the sled running in the recommended rpm range of 8600 to 8800 . I got a shop to install the kit but this year I added weight to the weights to bring my rpms down ,I was hitting 9100 and now I'm at 8800 so it's perfect now . If your knowledgeable with clutching you could install it but I've never done a clutch kit so just got a shop to do it for me .
