    A handy tool designed to make installation and removal of bicycle electronic shifting wires and batteries quick and easy. The durable composite body features our iconic three-way wrench shape and prevents scratching of expensive components. Angled ends allow for safe installation and removal of Shimano® Di2® E-tube® EW-SD300 wires in tight spaces. Universal coin cell tool helps remove and install battery covers on SRAM® eTap® and other electronic accessories.

    For version 2, a cap for the tiny prong end would help prevent toolbox-related wear.

    The EWS-1 has only just become available in Europe in the last six months. So will I have to wait 2 years for this to be available? I'd buy it if I could get it.

    Really?? You need a "special" tool to remove a battery cover? To clip or unclip a wire?

      This tool makes no sense for me who has no electronic shifting, but it makes a lot of sense for a team bike mechanic who has 20 bikes with such systems. To each their own.

      ​@@GrigoryRechistov quite so, especially when the wires are small enough to be both fiddly and very costly to replace! Very easy to damage unfortunately

    Nothing that a pair of micro-needle-nosed pliers and screwdriver can't do. Yet another piece of plastic to clutter the toolbox with.
