Ha ha, I have this Snap On screw driver also. It’s only 30 years old :-)
Actually I have a bunch of Snap On tools, which are all in great condition. The best tools in the world.
Just ordered the Park Tool allen key set :-)

Agreed and at £156 a set I went for the £30 copy's and work just as good, some speed spindles on I think the 4mm isn't machined right some defects and the ridges are even hardly there on the blue outter side so QC is poor if they can't spot that

I actually bought the PH-5 before buying the Wera set. Using both and quite happy so far. The Park Tool THH-1 is frighteningly expensive and way overkill for the home mechanic. That being said, Park Tool does make very good stuff, about 75% of my tools are from them. My latest purchase was their mechanic stool and it is awesome...so plush and smooth rolling.

I use that stool as my computer chair 🤣

Park Tool does not make anything, they just stamp their name on the Chines made tools. For the same price you can buy better made German and Japanese tools.

I'd say you only need these for your high frequency sizes, so 4,5, and 6. Outside of those, I really only see the 8 having a use case, and that's to remove stripped 8mm crank bolts. The rest seem overkill for any job that uses that size of fastener. I personally just use a micro ratchet for 90% of my adjustments, and I'm a mechanic in a shop. I will likely pick up a 5mm and 8mm from this set though.

As the whole length of these tools are round and smooth it will have less grip compared to having the hexagonal shape. That's why I wish they at least would add knurling to some part of that surface because if you're using nitril gloves and/or have managed to get some grease on your hands, these tools will just be slippery in general. That's my biggest gripe with these tools, and is why I never purchased them. The other downside is that the sliding function has no stopping function to it which will just make it feel flimsy.
Those two could easily be corrected and the last part would be to add a holding function at the end of the hex head so you can simply attach the bolt and use it one handed, so the other hand can hold a handlebar and outside of the stem clamp, and you could then simply push the bolt straight through and start spinning. Boom, job done. No need for three hands, or hiring a monkey...
I would pay for those three added functions.
PS: Pedros has made two version of these at this point, and the last one from them have color coding and written sizing just like you stated that you want.

I di have the first pedro’s kit. I did not know they updated it. Thanks!

@@AndreasIhm I see now that their 8mm also has 10mm in the same tool, that's pretty clever given that has so rare use. They also have T10, T25 and T30 in that kit which is always welcomed. Only difference I see is that they don't have that backup for messed up bolt heads. Personally I feel more inclined to get this kit because I have hex plus tools for when I notice too much slop.
EDIT: My bad, I see the tools from Pedro's do not have that spinner function, but they have three indentations in the sliding bar to lock it in the most used positions. Damn, why must it be so hard for just simple tools like this lol
