    Parenthood is such a privilege. We can tell you are a sweet guy and devoted husband, thanking your wife for letting you be a father. Can I also say I really respect that you give your wife and kids privacy on your growing channel - it's lovely to see them in the background but without their whole lives on the camera. I really enjoy your channels. Sending best wishes from Australia.

      Yes, as said at the official page, usually they plant 10-15 yo trees) I have no idea how an average 10-15 yo rowan tree look like, but these were fine ))

    What a nice mention at the end when you thanked your wife for making you a father twice. My city (Corpus Christi, Texas) gives out free trees once a year on Earth Day but they are small seedlings to take home and plant in your yard when they are larger. They gave me a seedling lace bark elm that is now 50 feet high after about 8 years. I like Moscow's idea better of planting large young trees in public places for children. Nice video.

      Thank you for the comment, and your story as well 👍 50 feet? Not bad. I guess the maximum height of out trees wouldn’t exceed this, cause, what would you expect from a Rowan tree 😂 I just hope it will live alright

    When I was a kid, our whole school walked to a park about 2 miles away from our school to plant trees. They gave us the seedlings at the school and we carried them to the park. There's now a large grove of pine trees we all planted them.

    I like seeing the parks and wooded areas, the more content from these places the better. I recently saw a video for Butovo Riders Village which is a mountain bike park in the southern part of Moscow. For a city so densely populated I was suprized to see such a developed and challenging trail network with jumps and drops.

    This is a great initiative to give a tree for each child. I like how your country actually values and promotes families. Here in Canada things are so backwards they would probably give trees to those who pledge to not have children, it's insane! Russia seems like a good place to live. I agree with the other person who posted the comment about taking a picture of yiur daughters with their trees every year, just imagine some 25 years down the road when your daughters show these trees to their kids! What a story it will be to tell 😊

  • @Cairol58
    @Cairol58 Před 2 lety +1

    Interesting and I like it! 😎 And they are doing the same thing here as well! There is an initiative from our local community for everyone who owns his private house to get 2 trees for free delivered to your house/garden. There is the choice between apple trees, cherry trees or pear trees. Or if you are not into fruit trees you can choose between oak trees, beech trees or linewood trees. No conifers as this is an initiative to have people growing trees with proper leaves in their gardens.
    All people have to do is to book the trees for free online or by a call at the local community center and a few days later the plants will get delivered to your house 😎 Nice for those who want that (I did not order any though) and it does not even need any dictator to make himself popular with this kind of action. At least not here! 🙂

    Now you have a reason to go to this park and show your daughters "their," trees. Do you know how tall the trees will go to and how fast do they grow? My luck I'd come back and my tag would be twelve feet up! This will help to make life more enjoyable unlike what Biden does.

    Great idea . Moscow and at Petersburg have a number of initiatives rewarding child birth which can be interesting and rewarding for the more children people have.
    While Russia has a lot of trees this initiative also helps to reduce pollution in and around the city. It also encourages families to you out into fresh air as children watch the tree grow.
    A similar idea was used by the Irish government complete with certificate to every family. For historical reasons Ireland has a very small percentage of trees particularly broad leaf and native. Demographics however are favourable regarding ratio of birth rates compared to the whole of Europe so no real worries about pensions etc. Also for historical reasons the Irish population is lower than it was 170-200 years ago and it is hoped that the current average reproductive rate i.e average births per woman (2+) will restore the population of early 19th century later in 21st century possibly with a significant increase in native and broadleaf trees
    Great video and remembering to thank your wife for enabling you to become a father was very considerate.
    When our son was 2and a half we planted a pear tree which he believed he was helping us plant now over ten years ago it has been a great pleasure to watch him eat and share the pears. 😃🙋
