@@americanultranationalist8581 Root beer is just soda with a sasparilla root flavoring. Alcohol free beer has a hops flavor but isn't fermented.
Its so unusual to see dwarves in a tomb king army. I forget that tomb kings are technically "neutral" faction.

@@Sarum9nich It's from one of the Gotrek and Felix books, they end up working for/with Khalida, and she has a member of her court who's heavily implied to be a mummified Dwarf.

It's easy to get a defensive alliance with Ironbrow Expedition as Khalida if you sell him Mahrak...otherwise he's likely to attack you

Thanks for featuring my battle, legend! I know it was very messy when it came to unit variety and the map itself! It's still early in the campaign and as you very well know you can't really be picky with the actual units you recruit on those early armies as tomb kings, so my army composition is all over the place :) Three things I especially loved:
- Hiding those units was such a clever tactic! I myself tried to protect them with the scorpion but they always took some damage no matter what, I never thought of hiding them behind that rock lol!
- I also really liked how you split my armies in two, I had them come in on the left side canyon and tried to hold a single position which (while many times close) didn't work.
- Very judicious use of those cannons, really good stuff Legend! I focused them on Skarbrand and single entities but I didn't think about them destroying cavalry so easily. I allied the dwarfs specifically to be able to recruit their arty as I knew it'd help me with all the enemies I'd fight up in the badlands!
All in all, really enjoyed this episode! I'll make sure to now make a push and get rid of Khorne for good :)

Dwarf firepower with Khalida is a very solid choice. 25% more ammo factionwide...throw in Prepared lords for even more ammo, and those guns can roar all day.

A fellow dawi artillery enjoyer. In my current HE campaign there are 2 cannons is pretty much all my armies.

Always amazed about the depth of knowledge on what the AI is most likely to do. And then amek a plan to deal with it elegantly
I wonder tho if CA can study the AI faults and improve it (like not coming into small waves at the 2nd army)
Did the player got some bolt throwers just for Skarbrand? A grudge throwers would have dished more damge to a infantry based army anyway.
Nicely played Legend, though ushabti could be used to stop the cultist and damage him.

How long have you been able to move where your reinforcements come from? I've been playing since launch, have over 2000 hours between the 3 games, and this is new information to me.

Tomb Kings and Dwarfs together really aren't Khorne's favorite.
Which faction in Warhammer 3 is best for new players to learn how to play in Total War?
They're all different enough to make it a difficult question, legend has said play whatever looks interesting. If you know you'll like the game, I might say get tomb kings dlc. Every other faction has to figure out an income to army upkeep balance, but tomb kings units are technically free, so that's where I started.

They were already damaged, but when they appear in the battlefield it appears that they are being damaged in the unit cards

this just goes to show you the level of stupidity in terms of AI. i don't think if this was againts 2 people under no circumstances skarbrand can actually lose this fight. even auto resolve is being extrelemy generous. first of all even casuals wouldnt recruit artilerry in a khorne faction imho.
