Would give this army a 5star rate if it was 13 Doomwheels instead of 10 :P
Doomwheels + chorfs = Hot Wheels 🔥
This was my battle. The Ikit live stream prompted me to send it in to highlight the fun you can have with doomwheels. I had some heroes and other units in the army, but I dumped them for this save file to highlight the doomwheel madness.
11:04 I audibly snorted at the doomwheel pushing the Castellan at full throttle
Chorfball!
The Great Horned Rat has blessed us yet again with Skaven gameplay! Yes-Yes! Doomwheels are a fun unit to just run around with shooting everything.
Now i want a series on how to properly use specialist army comps.
When two of the highest-tech armies in Old World meet.
While legend may feel that enemy armies are a food delivery service I'm glad I don't have to fight a pitch battle when I order uber eats.
I'd assume if you went the Skaven way and tried to eat the delivery guy, too, the uber eats person would totally give you a battle then. 🤔🤣😇
Here is a suggestion for a doomwheel doomstack if you want to build one. 1 Warlock Lord, 5-7 Warlock Engineers with Warpstone Hoarder and the rest doomwheels. They are really fast, cheap and their missle attacks becomes really powerful.
Legend using a nuke for fun. He is definitely a Skaven in disguise.
Made my day "it's like a food delivery service"
Legend is right weapons team just looks so easy to play but there's a learning curve to it. and you really have to abuse summons with it otherwise it doesn't work
Ikit Claw taking Danger Close to a whole new level lol
One doomwheel is 25 units? I thought they were just a single unit.
I noticed that too. 10 single entity models = 250 units deployed?
There's many little rats inside the wheel
chariot type units are counted as multiple entities in general~ you'll see some jank numbers with all types of chariots if you pay close enough attention haha
@@elmertsai1312 yeah usually its 2,4 or something like that. Never seen 25
@@elmertsai1312it’s not just Chariots, it’s any model with sub models on it like an Ancient Stegadon or Sky Junk. The auto resolve will say you had casualties without losing models.
I like the Doomwheel Death Stack, but i honestly prefer Hero Doomstacks and the Broodhorror Doomstack over it.
The Weapons Team army is prety much the base i go for until i can do the others.
Overall, Skaven are a really FUN faction.
Legit. I tried out Clan Skryre on a whim. I kinda expected to struggle and maybe quit the campaign early, but man was I wrong. I pretty much went instant full Skaven like Legend and fell in love with them. Every nuke, every ambush was exciting. The only thing I didn't enjoy, and this is purely due to my lack of micro skill and preference, was a Gutter/Night Runner stack. You really need good micro and attention span to excel with mobile hit & run armies, especially with ranged units. At least single entity stacks like Doomwheels and Brood Horrors are a little more forgiving, and those I did enjoy.
It's just unfortunate that like one of my other favorite factions, Warriors of Chaos, you needed to purchase what is essentially a pay to win DLC to get full enjoyment out of them back in Warhammer 2. I know they relaxed the requirements for WH3 so I don't think you need this anymore for the WH1 and 2 races, but it still leaves a bad taste for me. Like clearly CA is capable of making fun races but locking that fun behind DLC is really anti-customer of them.
@@dark_side_cookies Gutter/Night Runners are best when playing Eshin.
There, they get ARMOR PIERCING! Makes them significantly more lethal.
Generally, each Clan buffs certain units, often to incredible levels, like the never-ending ammo for Ratling Guns.
Oh Legend yes-yes
On the table top Doomwheels were amazing against large single entities whilst hellpits were the line breaker, my head still finds it odd that doomwheels are ant-infa try
Doomwheels making the highlight reels
I rarely call for nerfs but Chorfs are extremely overpowered, I've had a level 7 unmounted chorf lord fight against my level 50 banshee, wight and vampire lord at the same time and win, either their hitboxes are broken or there's something else bugged with them. Once they've hit army losses they die fairly easily when running away, seems to just be when they stand and fight they can't take damage. Also having to bait out their map wide "nuke" spell every single battle gets tedious fast, at least with menace below from Skaven you can counter them. No way to counter that bombardment spell other than keep a close eye on your troops mid battle and hope the unit(s) are fast enough to move out of the way (so never play Dwarfs as your units are dead, too slow to avoid).
I wrote these things off completely in favour of flayers. Nice to see they can serve some purpose. 😂
Flayers used to be better, but the changes they made to mass and collision damage modeling put the Doomwheels ahead of Doomflayers. Run both in your army and your Doomwheels will get a lot more kills.
This had far too many enemy Hobbos for it to have even qualified as a semi-disaster, IMO--still funny to see in action though
Now trying to imagine this--as I will be for every army I see used in the coming months--vs. a Morreslieb's Howlers contingent
I also love how I had to watch this to remind myself that for Skaven, Skavenblight is a twelve-slot settlement
Ikit Claw has biggest brain of all rats. A perfectly sane individual.
Are you trying to say your name faster with each new video? I swear you're saying it faster and I don't know if it's an inside joke I don't know about yet.
I'm trying to confederate Tretch in my current Ikit campaign and I was thinking either a wheel or flayer stack for him since his army gets devastating flanker.
The reason the A.I is defensive is because you don't have artillery and they think can out range you with missle units .
"they're the attacker why are the playing so defensively?". This has been an ongoing issue with the AI for a while and I'm honestly not opposed to it. Asking CA to fix anything will most likely cause them to break other things, and this is one of those bugs that actually helps the player (and we know CA loves to stomp those ones out first and replace them with shittier less fun bugs)
damn this video went under the new blog post and got low views
I feel so bad for it because it was a cool one
Is there lore on how the chaos dwarves dealt or interacted with the skaven?
ambush seems to be broken atm.
What about a few doom wheels in your weapon team’s stacks?
Thanks!
Deployed 250 units, lost 0. Is a doom wheel 25 units?
HE UPLOADED AGAINN
In the end, it says there were 250 skaven troops deployed. How did this number appear?
It's based on health pool of the multi model single entity unit.
Chariots get fairly odd as its based on health pool and the total number of models in the unit
nuke. nice!
Snipe snipe yes Yes Wpns Tm joy range do much zzap you u
Do you ever meditate?
1st
No more Shogun?
Looks like he's back to Warhammer only sadly.
