- Lectric Ebike out of Phoenix refreshed its lightweight ebike the XP Lite and kept the same pricing. The Lite has become my favorite Lectric with all its cool colors and easy to use frame.

Just ordered my lavender haze last week can’t wait
Noice!!!
Thanks for your honest review of the XP Lite from an owner. Too bad the belt drive is only available with the black frame. I think this will be my next ebike......I just bought a Maverick pickup too, great minds think alike!
Thanks for watching! Get the hybrid?
i like this Ebike, thnx for your time.
Glad you like it!
Love the ending part of the video
Thx for watching
I wish I could put the color display on the 3.0
Belt drive is a nice feature
ST belt not CDX like the ONE.
Think belt drive only comes as option on the color black.
Great honest review!
Chris,
Thanks for your e-bike reviews. I picked up a used XP Lite a few months ago and enjoy it. I'll probably buy the Lite 2.0 later in the year.
My only complaint about the XP Lite is the current 52/16 gear ratio topping out at 16 mph. I think the XP Lite would be a bit more enjoyable if I had some pedal left to cruise at 16-18 mph. To increase the gear ratio a little bit, I've considered upgrading the front chainring to a 56 tooth or even a 58 tooth gear.
You've done a lot of work on your XP Lite, as well as tested a number of multi-geared bikes. Have you considered upgrading the gear ratio on your XP Lite, or are you satisfied with its current gear ratio?
There’s def ghost pedal at higher speeds on the Lite so the Xp 3’is better for pedaling. Having said that I ride the lite mainly in pas 3 anyway and it’s fine. Just depends on your use case.
We all saw you blow through those stop signs. lol But seriously I’m going to swap over the mods from my original Lite; my DavidBrandNew FX folding stem and 9” rise BMX handlebar and Ergo grips, my Suntour suspension seatpost and Selle Italia Drifter seat, my Suntour suspension fork, my after-market crankset with full size pedals, chain tensioner, and larger chainwheel to reduce ghost pedaling, and my ElectricAllWheel dual battery balancer with 10ah battery giving a total of 24ah. It will be heavier, but way more comfortable and cool with all day battery power. I will miss my chrome finish cable operated hydraulic brakes and gray color 2.4” street tires but the new brakes and tires should be better performers.
I noticed your comments on adding the larger chainwheel. I've only been able to find a few Facebook users that made this upgrade. What size did you go up to? Did you have to replace the chain too? What speed will your Lite pedal at now? Thanks in advance.
Very nice upgrades to this bike! Great combination of price, capability, and size. I wonder if Lectric will have to raise prices in response to the upcoming tariffs. Really hurts the profitability and value of e bike companies and will slow adoption.
From what I know they will not be raising prices
Wow...incredible price!
would it be possible to put a sensiq 3 gear sproket on the rear alongside a bolt-on derailer? i can notice there IS some space there for at least one or maybe even 2 gears in the rear
I’m not sure
I have the original xp lite in lectric blue. Do u see a big difference in pedal assist for 1, 2 & 3 pedal modes? Just put over 2000 miles on my bike. Thanks
Not a big difference, seems a lttle quicker though.
Do you think you could swap these handlebars and put them on the XP 3.0?
Affirmative
is there a cruise control option when reaching top level?
It does have CC though I never use it
Screen has USB-A to charge devices from bike battery.
Oh I’ll have to check that out

I'm so torn with what I want. I don't know if I want the belt drive or not. I don't have issues with chains and stuff now, maintenance isn't hard on them, and the chains are way easier to replace.. The belt would seem like a hassle if something happens to it.
Yeah i am wonderin if the belt drive has less ghost pedal
@@ChrisCrossed I want black, but might just grab the sandstorm.
@@HeyItsAsmus my fav color!
my 2003 harley davidson superglide sport was belt driven and never had a single problem with it and it was rode for over 75,000 miles on open mountain roads , including the dragons tail in North Carolina, belt driven bikes are the way to go, trust me.
If i leave the key inside will someone have access to open and take the battery and/or ride away with the bike ?
If you leave the key in it that’s not secure so yes you risk it
Did they send you the bike or did you buy it?
They sent it
Do you need to put in a key everytime to ride it ?
Yes still have to do that
What is the max weight for a person to ride on that bike?
275 pounds
Yes...perfect train bike...New York City bike...😁
Light bike....compact
I wish they had the Gates belt drive on all the colors. Black is boring.
agree
Well that answers my question if I’m getting belt drive …I hate the black one
I was going to, but it doesn’t ship until July. Plus affirm would only give me 18 months payments. I got a nice scooter for $600 and 24 months to pay on it, on my doorstep next week.
What company did you get the scooter from?
33 mph....nice...
He was going down a gigantic hill and he wasn't even using his phone g. P. S good luck if you think you're going to get that speed on a flat with that little motor and a little battery.
@@duwaine96 ...you may be right....but after more than 1,600 miles on ebikes I can say with 100% certainty that phone GPS is not the most reliable and he demonstrated that it is possible to do. Some ebikes are designed to never go above a certain speed and this one can do at least 33 mph. For the price---bargain...especially from a well known and established brand. Great bike for a camper, rv, campground on someone who wants a good bike on a limited budget.
@IMBruceECLECTIC I think the max speed is caped at 20mph on level ground depending on your weight. I understand this can not be changed. I think the bike would struggle with any decent grade.
@duwaine96 Your right. This is a 20 mph ebike, and I don't think the speed can be changed.
@@dheller777 ...i consider those kind of bikes...camper, rv, campground bikes. Something easy to transport and good for running around a few miles. My bikes are all 40+ mph bikes...big and heavy. And they make for great videos. :)
Sponsored and affiliated by Lectric No doubt.
All I get is a free ebike, they are number 1 for a reason and I am pleased to promote them.
@@ChrisCrosseddon’t listen to that idiot. He’s just mad he ordered a bike and thought it wasn’t going to be a Chinese piece of garbage and now he’s crying. I pre ordered the lavender haze they are amazing bikes, their customer service is second to none, and they aren’t based in the middle of china
Sucks you can’t get one after blowing your money on the Yamagee 9000 from Hong Kong lmao.
Useless broke troll no doubt
Fucare Scorpio WAY better for $1079!
How do you fold it
How do you fold it?
The scorpio literally weighs 100 lbs
Not everyone wants to carry a 100lbs e-bike around son. XP Lite 2.0 was the nice update this model needed. Great bike for a great price.
Jesus saves
Saving money is always a good idea! 👍
Jesus is coming soon be ready time is short ❤❤❤
I hear he is gonna be riding into town on a new Lectric XP 2.0 instead of a donkey.
@@gimpman1357No doubt he’ll be riding the black one with the carbon fiber belt and the 14 amp battery! 🔥🤘
