- It's a list made of 50 Eurovision songs since 2009 according to a percentage of the maximum possible score in the jury vote.
The video includes songs which competed in the grand finals from 2009 to 2018 excluding 2013 (because of lack of needed data, split average rankings were published instead of split scores).
In case of a tie their relative placement is the tie-breaker.

Televote and jury both have a purpose - gives us a more balanced result. I think difference of opinion makes the voting much more interesting and less easy to predict who'll win, as opposed to the all-televoting dark ages of the '00s (anyone who wants to go back to THAT doesn't know what's best for Eurovision).
I wonder what the results would be if the juries existed between 2004 and 2008

The juries stanning Mans and Benjamin instead of Il Volo and Elina is infuriating.
I prefer Raphael Gualazzi over the desperate pop-opera boyband Il Volo (those flops now turned to reggaeton, so desperate). Okay, Il Volo was better than Mans, but neither act should have won, Belgium, Latvia, Estonia were so much better that year, but they didn't had great running order and etc.
The juries supporting good songs inside of mediocre dated ones only because the singing is good? That's what the jury is there for. This is a song competition, not a singing competition. Televoters may vote on a whim but the jury has a guideline to follow, and they put greater thought into how they vote (as music industry professionals). Heroes and Dance You Off became much bigger hits after the show than Grande Amore and La Forza, that should tell you something.

I'm talking about sales, not youtube views. All Italian representatives get a lot of views due to Sanremo. And you weren't comparing Dance You Off to Lie to Me, you were comparing it to La Forza. Stop moving the goalposts just to win an argument. Lie to Me is also a very contemporary song which is unsurprisingly a huge hit. La Forza is not, and the jury was right to not have it in their top.

Sorry, if I am stupid, but how is it possible to get over 50% of the jury votes, but not place first (in the jury votes, not overall)? E.g. 9,8,12 and 11 on this list. Doesn't make sense to me..
Emmi K its percentage out of the possible votes they could get, not out of the total amount of votes in the competition. For example if only two countries voted there would be 24 possible points, but if each country gives a 12 to a country and a 10 to a country then thats already gonna be 44 points all together for the full total

How is som many songs both in this list and in the "Top 50 Eurovision Songs Hurt by Jury Score"-list? Denmarks "In a moment like this", Armenias "Not alone", Cyprus "Fuego", Italies "Grande amore", Germanys "Satelite", Israels "Toy" and Bulgarias "Beautiful mess". Bulgarias song is even i 6th place here? How can you be the 6th most successfull song and still be "hurt" by the jury?
When he does the video with the countries that are most from jury vote, he doesn't take into account this video. He only divides the difference between jury and televoting with the available percentage of the points. For example this difference in Bulgaria 2017 was like 58 points (I think) and the percentage is like 11 or sth, that's why. The same with Rybak, Lena, Il Volo and the rest

2018 and 2016 (except for Dami Im, cause she deserved that first place in jury votes) are the worst years of jury vote in my opinion... This year??? Mmm no, I'm quite ok with jury votes this year... Tamara Todevska deserved a High score with juries because her performance was very very good. I will pick John Lundvik a little down honestly, but I don't dislike the song or his voice... So, even if I don't see him in first place, I can see him in top 5 with juries. Duncan third, Mahmood fourth is ok because they improve a lot their performance between Jury Show and Grand Final. Keiino? Yes, I would have given totally a top 10 spot in juries, but I read they have serious problems in Jury Show with camera angles... This may have tank them down in rankings... I think 2019 contest has one of the strongest top ten of the decade...

FYI Eurovision and Europe are two totally different things, the latter one is a continent, the former is a cooperation among TV stations, linked to the EBU, an organisation that arranges the ESC, in which all member states can participate if they follow the rules and pay the fees. Got it?

And Salvador deserve to kept his champion, because that makes the people to have a flashback to when the first Eurovision contest was started, with this song is quite similar to the early entries since 1956. I know you posted this a long time ago, but Sweden as a country is highly overrepresented in the music industry. We have some huge artists (Avicii, Zara Larsson, Swedish house maffia, Icona pop, Tove lo, Max Martin, etc etc.) Sweden has also had a lot of work in most of the songs you hear in this video (They had their hands in 11 of the 42 songs in 2016.) So whatever you are trying to save, this proves that Sweden at least has a great talent pool for music.
